Remember last time when we talked about enjoying the morning and I uploaded a video about some website. Just like that, I want to play with the words we use in our daily lives, think about them a little, and have a conversation. Asking if you've eaten is like saying, You must eat to live. It's such an obvious truth. Someone said that to me before. Teacher, you're really on point. If you eat, you have energy. Maybe someone around you had a hard time eating or lacked energy.

Some people may have left because they couldn't eat or didn't want to eat. I heard someone who had seen that directly say that. That's right. We need to eat to live. When we consume food, it goes into our bodies, goes through various digestive processes, turns into energy, becomes our flesh, bones, and blood. That's how it works. So, what does it mean to eat? It's about observing well, listening well, and then thinking a little, isn't it? By understanding and thinking a little, trying to digest what you see and hear, isn't it that kind of feeling? But these days, people don't digest well. Why is that? There is so much to know, so much information coming from all directions. Therefore, even though they know some things, they don't really digest it. It's easy to swallow and make it their own.

Realizing what is impossible when I was young, in the countryside, when I was given a hill to run up, even though I knew it was impossible, so I kept running up that hill, thinking that someday I could catch a dragonfly. I kept running up that hill four times a day, even though I didn't want to, just like how I ended up in investments without intending to. It's like diving into a blanket. Living in today's information society, aren't we living like this, with things we don't want entering our mouths, noses, eyes, and ears, just like that? So, it's hard to understand. What do we not understand? Scan it. Have you tried scanning it? If you have a picture or something you want to send, how do you do it? You copy it or take a photo and send it, right? But when you scan it, what do you do with it at once?

I had a chance to scan, but if there are documents like this that you want to scale up, you can copy them and paste them into a thick envelope like an ax. It's like taking a picture of the entire document. Similarly, when knowledge and information come to us from the surroundings, we shouldn't just swallow them all at once. Instead of thickly covering it up and looking at it, we should take our time to think about it. It's not about digesting it, but understanding it in one go. If we drown in the flood of information like this, it feels like we might suffocate. Why doesn't this world give me time to think? I want to stop the world from moving so fast. Mr. Gyeong-nim said not to blame the sky above or the ground below. So, shouldn't we try not to blame the world and think like this? If I can't change the world, shouldn't I at least not let the world change me? So today, let's understand from all directions like this.

In the flood of knowledge and information rushing like mayflies, how should we live? I would like to share a story with you. When we were young, how did we eat? Our parents or adults prepared food on the table for us, so we scooped it with a spoon and ate. As adults, we prepare our own food and eat by ourselves. However, for those who are sick, too young, or elderly, or for those with disabilities, people around them prepare food on the table for them to eat. Then, they eat it by themselves, scooping rice or soup, or putting side dishes they want. Everyone does it by themselves. This used to be the case in the past.

There were cases where grandmothers would chew food and feed it to their grandchildren, saying that their hands were pretty and the food should be eaten like this, even including the act of planting. In these cases, one must go through the process of chewing and swallowing properly on the third floor. It's about adapting to one's taste and aroma so that it's easier to chew, swallow, and live. That's how energy is generated. Isn't it similar to what we know? Among the things we use, there's a saying like this: You should understand what you know by eating it. You have to eat it yourself. You have to understand it yourself. If there are people who are good at understanding what others say on their cheeks, they won't do this. They will say, He understands things very well. No matter how much we explain, those who don't understand well, we say, Understand it a bit.

I feel suffocated. I'm talking about this. Even up to the tip of my nose, we are the same. It's not easy for me either. It's because what you do is hard to swallow. There is so much to know, so my back is not bending, and I've scanned everything. But there is a problem with this scan. Scans have no perspective. They have no interpretation of their own. So if you ask someone who scanned something, What is this? and ask, they will answer correctly about the content. However, since the scan was done all at once, you quickly forget or do not provide the knowledge and information that becomes your bones and flesh in life. But because there are so many things in the world, it's hard to say no to us. So what should we do? This is a real concern. I moved to a new house for a change of air. But as I was organizing the fourth floor, I realized that I am good at throwing things away. I throw away without much thought, so people around me blame me for it.

Think about throwing away a lot of money, even though you are the type of person who just throws it away without much thought. Despite being someone who does things directly, you live with too many things. When you look around, there are clothes related to the field, and there are so many colors that you need to read. As you keep saying you need to read, stacks of books you've read are piling up, and there are an enormous amount of stationery items like Scotch tape and glue. So, while doing things directly, I realize that I can't do it. Oh, no. When someone offers something, I think and think, and then I say, Let's not take it. Let's not receive anything. Like this, we need to stop just scanning and accumulating all this information we want from all directions without thinking. I think we should only keep what is really necessary for ourselves. Shouldn't we scan, eat, or work on things that are essential? How should we handle that? Is that what you are asking me?

So, with all the chaos going on around, how do I refuse that? I might say it like this, I'm not sure, but you guys are still watching the video, right? YouTube videos, when you watch them, there are a lot of ads popping up. At some point, the ads even change on that platform. So, I said that I don't like watching those ads, so what should we do? There's a skill called skip at the bottom right, you know? You can just skip that. You can skip it without watching. Without looking at the ads, you can keep watching the videos you really want to watch. Just like this, even when watching TV, as subscribers, you can have your own perspective and choose for yourself from various daily examples that come to you. I hope you can digest and understand this kind of knowledge and information that comes rushing towards you, select it yourself, chew on it, and digest it, giving your mind and spirit a big break.
