This is a clear case; there are no excuses. Let's take a look at sexually transmitted infections that occur through direct sexual contact. What are some of them? A representative example is gonorrhea, which often leads to urethritis. Then there’s the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), and one of the types of warts is condyloma, which is caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). 

It would be good to talk about the typical symptoms. After engaging in sexual intercourse, within one to two weeks, symptoms can occur, often starting with a sharp pain when urinating, and after some time, pus may be released. In the case of non-gonococcal urethritis, the symptoms are milder, and the pus that comes out is clear, so one might not even realize they are infected. They might feel less discomfort, but the infection is highly contagious, although the incubation period is longer. Gonococcal urethritis has a shorter incubation period, typically about two weeks, while non-gonococcal can be up to two months, which allows for more transmission during that longer incubation period.

However, the risk is slightly higher with genital warts. Things like genital warts are visible; they occur on the genitals or the anus. In the case of condyloma, the incubation period is long. Especially in men, genital warts are more common because they are easily visible. Women, on the other hand, may not have symptoms since they develop internally. As a result, many women are unaware of their condition. The discharge from the vagina can make it difficult to distinguish the symptoms, complicating treatment and delaying diagnosis. In men, if there are no urinary symptoms, the bacteria can reach the prostate. The bacteria can be released through prostate massage, which is different from the semen.

Some components of semen are prostatic fluid; a large portion of semen is actually prostatic fluid. So, when inflammation is confirmed in the prostate and bacteria are found there, the appropriate antibiotics for those bacteria are used. When it comes to syphilis, there are two forms of symptoms in the rash. One is the genital lesions, known as chancres, which are hard and firm but not painful. After a while, if the infection becomes severe, red, round spots appear on the palms and soles of the feet; this is referred to as syphilitic rash. The syphilitic rash also occurs in areas where bacteria are highly concentrated. If a biopsy is taken, it used to be that if syphilis was left untreated, it could consume brain cells, leading to neurosyphilis, which can cause seizures. The only treatment is penicillin, specifically the BP form, known as Benzathine Penicillin. In the past, when penicillin was not available, attempts were made to treat syphilis using lead, which is a heavy metal.

If you get caught by any of these, you should start to doubt the partner you are currently seeing. Meet healthy people; there’s no way this person just had it. There is no theory of natural occurrence. If one person gets it while they are seeing each other, it means it’s a recent event. You should consider it something that happened in the last four weeks. These days, it seems too quick. What do you think is an appropriate duration for getting to know someone? Typically, it takes about six to twelve months, and if you are not having sex, it’s said that one year is needed. I don’t think that’s feasible. For example, if you haven’t made a decision in two to three months, then it’s likely not going to work out. You should just discard those kinds of men; there’s not a single worthwhile one among them. In that case, the time for judgment can be shorter, but in a short period, it’s easy to deceive someone. After six months of having sexual relations, urinating can help prevent sexually transmitted infections. I saw this on a broadcast, but it has no effect.

There is no such thing. So, it allows those germs to come out, and there is a certain level of preventive effect. They spread false information like that, which causes sexually transmitted diseases to keep spreading. So, when you always go to the bathroom, it's not like birds are having intercourse and coming down. In a normal relationship, it lasts for 10, 20, or 30 minutes. During that time, everything has already happened. If you leave your laundry at a laundromat, and your underwear is washed together with that of a person with a sexually transmitted disease, it is possible for the infection to spread. In the case of males, if they undergo circumcision, the foreskin may completely cover the glans and not retract. This condition is called phimosis, and it requires surgery. If surgery is not performed, it can lead to odor and difficulties with normal sexual intercourse. For sexual activity to occur, the mucous membranes need to meet. If it’s only skin against mucous membrane, the female mucous membrane can get damaged, making normal sexual intercourse impossible. Additionally, circumcision does not help prevent sexually transmitted diseases. While it is not necessary to force circumcision, after puberty, as a child grows and the glans of the penis enlarges, if the foreskin does not retract, surgery must be performed for the child's normal sexual life. As for the condition of phimosis, it means that the foreskin is covering the glans, but when I manually retract it...

If it peels back, it's called phimosis. In that case, there’s no need for surgery. However, if it’s consistently dirty and there are many bacteria, you might find various substances stuck in the nosebleed, and it can be quite messy. Make sure to wash before engaging in intimacy. Smokers have a higher chance of developing head and neck cancer. That’s obvious. The term head and neck refers to the neck and larynx, and it appears on the mucous membranes. If it develops, the cancer can spread upwards. It’s scary. This can be avoided by quitting smoking. The term syndrome has been around for a long time, right? This is closely related to the concept of intimate contact. What this means is that the virus was found in chimpanzees in Central Africa. The simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) is very similar to HIV. It’s more likely to be due to contact rather than just transmission.

It is much more plausible to think that the infection spread through blood from a chimpanzee attack rather than through person-to-person transmission. Now, I would like to talk about treatment and prevention methods. Treating sexually transmitted diseases can take a long time, and achieving a complete cure also takes some time. However, if the diagnosis is accurate, the medications are quite effective. For example, with a large amount of penicillin administered twice, the treatment can be quite straightforward. The duration of the treatment is typically just those two injections, followed by another blood test afterward. This also applies to other sexually transmitted diseases, which can improve rapidly with the right medications. For men, there are cases where surgery is required, such as when genital warts appear. In such cases, a skin corrosive agent is applied, and when it falls off, some tissue may come off as well. During this process, the shape of the area changes.

It may feel like something has been cut off, but why would we cut it? We need to use cutting correctly. When using a condom, it should be applied from the very beginning of the insertion. Isn't it obvious to start from the beginning? Then, it's purely for the purpose of contraception. However, since the purpose is not just contraception but also the prevention of sexually transmitted infections, it is essential to use the condom correctly, all the way to the end. Sometimes, there are cases where it is damaged or has holes. There are friends who might not be aware of this. That’s a bad thing. Oh, that's wrong. Some people recycle and reuse them, which is concerning. So, we need to teach proper condom usage. I believe high school students should definitely be educated about this; they should know it. If we teach it in middle school, it’s important to make sure that students who are unaware understand what to do at that time.

It can be a situation where pointing things out is necessary, so the use of condoms and similar topics should be addressed through education, whether through broadcasts or other means. At the very least, conversations should be possible between fathers and sons, and mothers and daughters in places like the bathhouse.
