I just can't understand that house. It's not a place where someone can live. It can't be. Even from the front door, the whole house is filled with litters and junks, and bugs all over the place.

But he graduated from Seoul University, School of Law. From Japanese to Chinese, he speaks 7 languages. He even led a big company, too!

The living room was filled with litters and junks. We could barely see an empty floor. What's in there? There are shelves and they are full with books.

So we can't enter that room now? Yes, because the shelves fell. One side of the house is blocked with a fallen bookshelf.

Litters all over the place, even rotten leftovers. The place with all sorts of junks is... a kitchen! The stench and shocking hygienic condition...

How can he live in such place...? Is this place where you sleep? This armchair can be a cot, so I use this as a bed.

He spends most of his time in this tiny place. And.. the books everywhere stand out. Isn't this a law dictionary? Yes, I graduated from Seoul University School of Law.

Seoul University School of Law!? In fact, he was really a graduate student from Seoul University School of Law. I speak 7 languages.

English, German, Chinese, Japanese, French, Latin, Korean. He even volunteered as a Japanese interpreter at the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in 2005.

Japanese: This place is the happiest place for me. English, Chinese. Very fluent! Moreover, he even led a big company for the past 40 years.

He was an elite. I used to live in a two-story apartment in Seoul that was 330m^2 big. My life wasn't like this.

But this life has its own charm. Others don't understand, but it has its own good sides. His fancy past and pathetic current life.

Even getting ready to go out is tough. These are the shoes. It's so hectic. That's the fun part. You can get away from dementia.

But unlike this living condition, he looks like a gentleman outside. He's using a golf club as a cane. No one would ever think he would live in a junk house.

Moreover, he used to be the president of an alumni association. I want that to be on our 100 years anniversary event... He's organizing the centennial celebration of the alumni association.

We all praise and respect him. He has a great leadership, too. Though he is a respectful and recognized man, what greets him is litters and junks.

No one knows that he lives in such place. Why did he lock himself in a junk jail? My past was all arrogance... that's why I'm being punished.

He's getting punished...? I don't clean and dump trash on purpose. What can do get by doing that? Why would doing that give you?

It makes me suffer. Because I lived a good life by making others suffer. I even exploited the labourers. None of rich are good. And I'm one of them.

He had been living for himself only. But after facing the IMF, his business collapsed, which led him to a serious depression. 'Everything is vain.' I think everything is so vain.

I know I'm late, but I wish to repent my past and live a better life. His past filled with selfishness and arrogance.

And he chose this lifestyle in order to repent his shameful past. But we can't just let an 80-year-old elder live in such a place.

Don't you want to live in a clean condition? Well, I'm not saying it because I'm in front of a camera.

I know it's causing conflicts, so I know I gotta clean it for my neighbors. I'm planning to do so. Fortunately, he also felt the need for change.

He promised us that he'll clean the house ASAP. Why don't we go get some fresh air? How do you feel?

This refreshing mountain and my home full of litters and junks are so contrasting. The man who used to punish himself for his arrogant past.
