It is the pineal gland of the brain which secretes the melatonin, which is the “single eye,” “the third eye.” Up until recently, scientists didn't know what the heck it did in the middle of the brain. But you know what? If you go back into the book, Genesis chapter 32, verse 30, Jacob says, “I have seen God face to face.” Here you had modern science not even knowing what the whole gland did up until a few years ago. And here is Jacob 6000 years ago saying, I have seen God face to face. I'll call the place “Peniel.” He's talking about the pineal gland of the brain. It's phenomenal how little we know about ourselves and how much we've swallowed from religious teachers.
