Good people, so these are cost headphones I've heard of the brand before, I've never used them before but they have such an iconic design, it goes way back in the 80s and when you look at this you think of the Walkman. I mean, I can see why.

And I see all types of stuff about gaming headsets, this and gaming that, and what type of stuff to do for your gaming environment. These are sleeper gaming headphones that you definitely should not sleep on. [Music] The interesting thing about these is just how simplified they are, but they

definitely cover all the basics, right? And just comparing them to a standard gaming headset that is way more expensive, that is heavier, that is more complex, the costs do it right in the comfort department, in the lightweight department and just the sound quality too. The price point is

also extremely attractive here. KPH 30 sells for 20 bucks, KPH 40 for 29, and the Pora Pro for only 35 bucks. You can see the remnants of Massdrop on here with the Pora Pro X just because they've been

rebranded to Drop for a while now, but definitely an opportunity to own something from Massdrop just because they've had such massive influence in this whole audio space. And from a build quality perspective, they're just so basic that you do have to be careful

like the drivers, for example, are attached on a simple plastic little ball joint to the frame on the KPH 40. But when you put them on, it's heaven on your ears in terms of both comfort, you don't really feel the weight of the headset.

I'm like, they they don't weigh practically anything and this is just a really refreshing take on the headphone that you can use on the desktop as well. I'm actually quite impressed that we have proper size adjustments for all three models. On the KP30, it's literally

the same mechanism as you would find on a larger headset but just minuscule, minuscule, miniaturized. My gosh, despite how thin the headband is, the KPH40 still has a proper size adjustment that has a little bit of density to it. They're not

completely loose, which is so nice to see. And the Porter Pro self-adjusts when you put them on your head. It's brilliant. They also fold inwards and this genius design, if you expand them slightly more on the headband, it lets you connect it in a

circle. Now, this is brilliant analog design. They all have basics covered, like left and right distinction, despite me wearing the Porter Pro X in reverse. So, don't make the same mistake. The cable produces almost no cable noise, which is so nice to see. Me rubbing the cable over

here, I don't hear anything traveling back into the headphone, nothing. The Porter Pro and the KP30 have inline microphones, which is what makes them so versatile, even in a gaming environment. They both have a standard four-pole jack and a spring right at the cable

exit to prevent unwanted tension and kinking. Surprisingly, the microphone on this $35 headphone is not terrible. It sounds decent enough when you hold it a little bit close. Once you place it down, it sounds a little bit more distant but still better than nothing. The same

applies to a $20 headphone which sounds slightly worse, it's not as clear, it's a little bit more muted and it does have a slightly longer cable so the microphone is even more distant when it's just hanging on the cable. Oh my God, is there

another one? It is kind of funky though, the new Thermaltake Tower 600 is now appropriately sized for ATX systems with the usual panoramic three glass view, 420 mm radiator support and 13 fans can be installed. Good luck! I really like the rich I/O

especially with a flexible USB 3 adapter. The GPU can be rotated for extra funky presentation access, is easy all around and the vertical airflow should be a nice compliment. And the optional base for lay-flat mode is interesting indeed. Check out the Thermaltake Tower 600 down

below obviously. The lightweight design for all three pairs is a huge win for any gaming setup and because they're on-ear headphones I would say they're even more comfortable than IMS because you don't have to worry about that pressure fatigue accumulating and this is just

such a comfortable thing to wear. You don't have to worry about ear pads being too thick or too large or too small to accommodate your ear shape and size. This just goes on top of the ear. The clamping force is almost non-existent but just

existent enough to keep the headset or the headphone on your head. This would be a really comfortable pair to run with or do sports with just because they kind of disappear on your head. It's awesome. Cable length is the only downside for all three, it's less than a meter so you

definitely want to have your DAC and amp close by and I know design is very subjective but the Pro Pro X looks so freaking cool and analog and retro but I have fallen in love with the simplicity of the KPH 40 for their incredibly slim

headband and the dual color ear pads if you're after looks anyway this looks way better than like a Razer Black Shark V2 I would say KP30 is the only one that reminds me of like a cheap $20 headphone and they are $20 after all so you have

to be careful with all three but because they're so lightweight chucking this onto the desk for example no problem not nothing's going to happen maybe don't drop the KPH 40s just because the ear cushions are fairly thin and looks like I've ripped one already

but where they lack in certain areas they definitely make up in the gaming environment the KPH 40X is my favorite out of the three bunch even though they share the same driver as the Porta Pro X but the Porta Pro X is slightly less

sensitive so it does require a little bit more power to run and so that's when I was swapping them I'm like why is the KPH 40 slightly louder but is just more sensitive but the driver is the same for this size of headphone I am incredibly

impressed at the bass presentation it's not muddy you know kind of leans there but definitely not what you would expect from a $25 headphone they are open back which is what I prefer for the gaming environment just being able to hear what's happening in my physical space

while not totally being completely locked into my game, but they also kind of forward leaning, giving you almost this forward presentation with an open sound stage, it's a really nice experience with a smooth treble, like just enough amount of detail and really pleasant to listen to. So for FPS games, 

this is super nice because it still gives you the critical detail without pushing things too far, but not being like everything is concentrated just right around your ears. You do feel a sense of sound stage. So between the KPH 40 and the Porta Pro, I actually prefer 

the KPH 40 for their just seamless comfort. They disappear on your head and perhaps, I mean, they're using the same driver, but for me I like the slightly more sensitive approach with the KPH 40 and maybe, maybe a wider sound stage, although that's probably just a placebo 

of having things that are slightly louder, while with the KP30 you definitely feel less sound imaging, it's not as open and definitely the bass department is not as emphasized, but to be honest the performance for $20 is absolutely incredible for CS:GO, for 

Battlefield, for Helldivers, where you still feel like you're part of the environment and it's not complete soup of audio, there is some layering happening. It's still not as good, for example, as the KPH 40 where you can tell 

this is almost on another level when it comes to sound quality, even though it's, I mean, the difference in price is so little, and also the KPH 30 is not as weightless as the KPH 40 or the Porta Pros. It's very comfortable still because 

It's so lightweight, but uh, you can definitely tell you're wearing a headphone now. Despite me raving about these headphones, this is not a sponsored video by Cost by Draw by Corsair. This is just a really decent product that you should potentially explore because it's

affordable and it's suitable for the gaming setup. Even the microphone is actually decent, but also being so affordable and on the market for a while, there are common complaints about, let's say, the plastic construction on the KPH 30 just because there is no metal, so

the actual headband might snap in places that you might not be able to repair. There are plenty of mods available for the Porter Pro and the KPH 40 to replace the earpads, uh, to replace the cable, uh, on the utility version where the cable

is removable. Now, the general consensus from the audio community is that people like how they sound, but I think that comes with a massive asterisk. I'm running them with a Sound Blaster G6, which is an awesome DAC amp, and they sound incredible, but as soon as I plug them

into my motherboard or my analog amplifier, they sound like trash, like having worse detail and the bass department just gets really, really muddy. Running them on my iPhone with a dongle sounds great, but for some reason, neither of my ProArt motherboard nor my G. Gab

orus motherboard, uh, just plugging them to the back just doesn't sound great at all. I would say, given the price point, these are relatively low risk, but as always, spend responsibly. [Music]
