Hello, the first half of the year has already passed, it's been quite trendy, right? I am planning to review the records of the first half of the year. First, let me show you what records I made in the first half. These are the notebooks in my hands that I will introduce today as the records of the first half. This is the diary I am currently writing, and there are two planners like this, and three memo notebooks. Finally, there is a travel notebook. So, let me show you how I used these notebooks in the first half. First, let me show you this diary. This diary is an MMG PPF diary that I write every day. I have already written this much, can you see it? When you look at it like this, you can clearly see the parts that are written vividly. It was a moment of realization that the first half of the year has passed. I can physically see that half of the year has passed. Nevertheless, I have been writing well.

I ended up having this kind of thought. I really wrote every day for over 6 months. I made an effort to write during that period, but of course, I couldn't write every single day. There were times when I fell behind for 2 to 3 days, and sometimes I had to catch up by writing all at once. Still, there weren't many entries written like that because I tried to write at least a few lines every day. So, while looking back at the diary entries from the first half of this year, I wanted to show you how I wrote. I would fill the day with text and attach some items or stickers to remember that day, and I also did scrapbooking. I used stickers a lot because I've been so into collecting and using stickers lately.

Alright, sometimes I write very briefly to the point where there is a lot of white space left. There are times when I really don't want to write, so I didn't say much and kept it very short. By doing that, I was able to fill the first half of the year already. It's something I always say when I talk about writing, but I don't think everyone has to aim to write like me. I have just written a lot, and it has become a habit for me, so writing this amount is not very difficult. However, for those who have never tried writing like this, even writing for a week can be challenging. So, writing just one day a week is four times a month, and if you do this for the first half of the year, it adds up to 24 times. I think that's quite steady and doing very well. Anyway, the main point of what I was trying to say is to know your own pace.

It is best to write according to that. Even so, what are the good points of writing every day, and what thoughts come to mind? If I were to point out the advantages I feel, it would be that even just while writing a diary, I look at my phone a little less. Realistically, that seems to be the most relatable advantage for me. When I look back on my day, there aren't many moments without a phone, I'm always so caught up with it. However, when I write a diary, I have to clear away things that distract me at that moment, grab a pen, and write. It becomes an activity that can be done at that moment. Just staying in that exact moment for a while seems to play a refreshing role. Perhaps it may have even helped my mental health. Thoughts like this come to mind. In the first half of the year, there were ups and downs, of course, but it wasn't bad, I think. The effectiveness of habits, I also used a planner in the first half of the year.

I wrote two things like this. One is the All Light Diary, and I tried writing this planner for January and February. It was a dial that could be used for exactly three months. The reason I purchased this dial was firstly because the colors were so beautiful, and also because there is a weekly page and a page with just notes attached at the back. There are a lot of notes, so I tried purchasing it once. There are also blank notes because I always carry a separate memo note along with using a weekly planner. I started writing with the thought of combining these two functions, but after trying it for January and February, I realized that it didn't suit me well. This is because I use memo notes a lot, so during these three months of using this weekly planner, the amount was not sufficient.

I think it's better for the weekly planner to stack as a planner than to combine these functions. The memo notes at the back stack up as memo notes, which makes it much easier to find the necessary memos later. So, after using it for January and February only, I switched back to using a yearly weekly planner. If you are looking for a planner that combines these two functions, I think the All-in-One planner is a perfect choice for me. I found many conveniences while using it. Among the ways of using a planner, I tried adding various drawings, which gave me a lot of fun when using it. I also tried using a habit tracker. It's an analog keeper where you can stick stickers for things like stretching.

I want to try recording things like books every day and trying things like this together. I think I wrote it quite diligently. The planner I used next is the MD Note Diary from Midori Gray House. The planner I showed you before was a B6 size, and this one is an A5 size. There is a slight size difference. It feels a bit bigger, actually a large size. But this planner wasn't something I was planning to buy. I went to a stationery shop in Mangwon-dong at the beginning of the year and bought various things there, and the owner just gave me this as a bonus. Probably, it has a 2023 dated dial, and it was around February, when the date changes are not easily sold after the year changes, so they just had a lot of stock.

I think you gave it to me, but it's better than I thought. So I started using it once, and it suits me well. I've been using it from March to now, June and July. I'll probably continue to use it. This planner has the dates for the months in front, like the 2024 version, but the back part is just lined notes. However, I arbitrarily divided it into eight thick lines, so there is a planner where you can record one day in each square. But instead of using it that way, I wanted to use it in the way I used to, so I folded the notebook in half like this, marked the middle, and started writing the dates in a row. So I can write weekly plans on one page, and on the page next to it, I can leave a record of that week. That's how I customized it in my own way, capturing the dates in one section.

After putting it down, when you go to write the date now, the front is visible, right? So, while flipping the location, you write the date. The size is quite big and refreshing, so whenever I want to write something, there is no problem. However, if I don't use it now, it feels like a waste. On the left page, I mainly write weekly plans, and jot down the plans for the week, Google checklists, and to-do lists. At the beginning, I write down what I must do that week, then I write down the scheduled events for each day, and on the right side, I briefly record movies, dramas, and books I've seen. I give compliments on what was good this week and what I want to praise myself for. I also note what I want to improve for the next week, and about the coming week.

I also make some brief predictions. These days, because my schedule is quite flexible, I sometimes write down where the money I spent this week went, or I make a list of books I want to read. I write freely and use this checklist effectively when I write down my weekend plans with the highlighter I bought. I often stick stickers on it. I mainly use analog keeper's line color stickers. I use them to keep things interesting and to emphasize when needed. The colors don't have specific meanings; I just feel more motivated to write when I use pretty colors. I feel satisfied, so I keep sticking them. There are two cover stickers in front. They are both planner cover stickers from the same brand. They are stickers made by a place called [the brand name].

It's a sticker. It's a brand I really like. Coincidentally, in the memo notes I will introduce next time, there are stickers from that series again. I've been particularly into it this year, visiting showrooms, buying phone cases at AIO, and so on. I suddenly got hooked. Anyway, now it's time to show you the memo notes. The first note I wrote is this Midori MD note. I bought this at the same prop shop in Mangwon-dong that I visited earlier this year. I bought this and this, and this was a gift. It feels like something has changed after buying these. I used the Midori MD note from January to May, about five months. Now, I use it for work-related notes and personal memos, jotting down ideas. That's why I write a lot here, so the handwriting, layout, everything is completely different.

I think this grid-patterned memo note is the truth. At first, I thought I should try writing it fun, attaching these monthly memo papers, managing schedules a bit like this every month with this memo note, but I didn't use it at all. Functionally, it didn't work well for writing notes. Anyway, it was so light and portable due to its palm-sized design, so I could always carry it around and take notes. Originally, I used to stick stickers on it, but it was originally a blank notebook, so it's truly a blank notebook. If you have plans to give stationery as a gift, I think Midori Note would be a good choice. The paper quality is really good compared to the price. Starting from June, I will take notes like this.

I am writing in two notebooks. The reason is that before, I used one notebook for work and just daily memos, but I didn't like them getting mixed up. So, one is exclusively for work at the company, and the other is for various ideas, daily life, just memos, and doodles. I separated them like this. The memo notebook was purchased in Japan. It feels like a reporter's notebook that flips upwards. It has about one fold at the front, which is pre-folded to make it more convenient to write when flipped upwards. I really like the details. The paper is slightly thick and smooth, so when writing with a pen, it feels really optimal.

Yes, it's really good. It's a bit smaller than a regular notebook, so it's convenient to carry around and I'm using it well. However, since the quantity is a bit small, I feel like I will run out of it quickly. I've been using it for about a month in June, and I've already used up more than half. Still, I like the feeling of using it to the point where I might consider buying it again. This is a highly recommended notebook. This notebook is from mmmg, and I've used it a few times. It's a gradient note series, this one is in large size, and I've also used the medium size. I like the format of this notebook, just keeping it as a collection. However, like the memo notebook I previously used and the MD notebook, as I keep using them, the paper becomes softer, which I like. This one doesn't have that soft feeling. It's not to the point of being bad, but I don't think I'll use it again next time.

This is a notebook. I like doodling a lot. I enjoy doodling in general, and I write various things and jot down notes when filming YouTube videos. I use this notebook a lot when setting up where to start, what kind of feeling to convey, and what content to talk about. Lastly, I will show you this Traveler's Notebook. This is a roll-bound notebook, and it's a bit thicker in the front and back, so I bought it to carry around when traveling. Also, my wife really keeps a travel diary. When we travel, if we need to plan spontaneously or change the schedule, it's convenient to write it down quickly, so we used it a lot then. We also write travel diaries on the plane when returning from a trip. I wrote a lot of diaries during this Japan trip. So, I've been using this notebook since last summer.

I wrote this to keep taking it with me every time I go on a trip until I fill it up. Having a travel journal like this gives me a sense of security. I recommend getting a sturdy one like this, buying a small one, and trying writing in it while carrying it around once. It's a great way not to forget the feelings you had on that day. Now, let's take a look at the first half of the year. I liked all the notes I wrote in the first half. There's nothing to pick or choose, it just shows how I lived the first half. I think I will continue using the diary I'm using now and also keep using the planner. When all the memo notes are used up, I need to think about what to buy next.
