Any links in the description are not affiliate links. So, what is the Woodrow Strap 3? Well, like the name implies, it's an adjustable belt or strap that you wear around you in a number of configurations. The Strap 3 can be worn over your shoulder, around your waist, around your chest, and even on your

back the strap is adjustable and can even be detached from the haptic motor to make taking the strap 3 on and off easier. The large middle part is a transducer that converts audio signals coming into the strap 3 into vibrations or haptics that you can feel on your body. The haptic transducer has a frequency response rate between 1 and 250 Hertz. On top of the transducer housing or shell, you'll find the power on and off button. This can be held for five seconds to enable pairing with an audio input. Holding the volume up and power button for five seconds puts the strap 3 into an output pairing mode, which is where you can connect wireless headphones. On the front of the strap three, there are buttons top and bottom which adjust the level of haptic feedback coming out of the device, as well as two buttons on the left and right that adjust the volume. Both of these controls are independent from one another, so if you want to change the volume while keeping your haptics at a constant level, then

you can do that. At the bottom, you'll find the 3.5 millimeter line import, followed by the USBC port for charging or USB headphones. Lastly, there's a 3.5 millimeter headphone out port powered by a Texas Instruments amplifier, capable of 138 milliwatts into 16 ohm headphones. Both line in and headphone ports support TRRS cables. The Strap 3 has Bluetooth 5.0, allowing you to connect audio in and out to the device. You'll get approximately 8 hours of playback time, and then it'll take about three hours to charge the Strap 3 back up. In total, the Strap 3 weighs 240 grams, or the same as one iPhone 14 Pro Max. This Wooger is the special edition Modern Warfare 2 Edition, which means the strap has this custom graphic throughout, and the haptic motor has a detachable ring with camo patterns. the way you'd like. Under the ring, you'll find the RGB light, which is configurable in the mobile app. The widget app allows you to easily pair and update your strap 3, taking you through an initial setup wizard. The interface makes it easy to adjust the volume and haptic sensitivity right from your device. This is where you'll also connect an output device if you plan to go wireless. There is an interface for adjusting the frequency response to sync it perfectly with whatever music you're listening to. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get this feature to work. Every time I adjusted the frequency, it just sort of hung up and wouldn't respond. Most of the time, though, you'll want to be wearing the strap 3 for gaming. Let's check out what that's like. So, this is a completely wireless setup. I decided to go with a diagonal over-the-shoulder kind of configuration. There are different ones you could do, but I decided to do this one. And right off the bat, I can tell that the music from the title screen is like thumping it. It's

like the bass. It's like just a lot of bass on my chest. I can also hear the game audio just fine. So switching tabs here, I noticed there's a little bit of latency issues. Like, it's just like a half a second behind, um, maybe like a second behind, which is a pretty big amount of latency. So I'm gonna try and play this completely wireless in this configuration and see how much latency issues that there actually is and how it sounds in-game. All right, here I am in-game. I have it, like I said, right over my chest. And I believe if I increase it like this, the up arrow, it increases the intensity of the vibration. So I'm going to try firing my gun and see how it feels. Well, it's definitely rebelie, but the latency is a bit of an issue. I hear my gun like a full second after I shoot, but it's just really, really, it feels like a lot of bass. It just really intensifies face. Oh, the latency is so bad. I'm gonna

try turning it down, okay, so the intensity is down. Now that feels a little nicer, feels a little bit more natural. And then left and right, you can change the volume. So I'm changing it down, plus volume, increasing it, volume up. It's cool, but the latency is probably the biggest issue now. I have the vibration on really low. It's early, create that much of an impact, but turning it all the way out, I definitely feel it. I want to try it with a pure wired connection to get rid of this latency issue that I have and see how that feels and see if it's any better. Okay, now I have the woofer connected straight to the line out on the PC, and I am not getting that latency issue any longer. I can still hear the audio from the wireless headset connected to the woofer, so that is not different. There is a method to connect via a cable, but that's not what I have here. And it looks like now that I'm connected via line into the actual computer, I can control the

vibration intensity through the volume, but it looks like I lost the ability to actually lower and increase the volume on the actual headset. So, I'm stuck at like this random volume, which isn't very loud, but I don't have any latency anymore, and it's just, again, it's just like a lot of rumbling in my chest. What about something even more immersive, something like the Quest 2. Alright, I have Beat Saber loaded up here. I have the strap connected, all the cables. I can hear the audio in the headset, and I'm just gonna jump into a random one here. Okay, I started to feel it a little bit when I fired that up. I feel the vibration a little bit. It's not as prominent as it was when I was playing World Warfare 2. Interestingly, I don't know if that will increase. Oh, it's getting heavier. I have it all the way up. It seems like at points it gets more intense than others, but it's definitely not as intense as it was when I was playing Modern Warfare 2.

so fun though. This is like the perfect game to use this with because you can just feel the bass a lot more. That's pretty much all it is; you just feel so much Bass. Let's go ahead and try something else. So now let's try the PlayStation VR2. You can see all the way up. Oh, I forgot how cool this is. Okay, whatever thoughts like vibrating. It already feels a little better than the Quest experience, even though I haven't really felt anything really intense yet. Let me grab my gum. Yeah. Hmm. Yeah, it's not very intense. It's very subtle. Everything. I was kind of hoping it would be like a little bit more intense here. Whoops. Sorry about it. All right. I don't know what I did. Oh, me go. I wonder if I can adjust it. [Music] puts interesting. Okay, so I upped the volume on the actual headset, which should in theory increase the rumble, and then I lower and lower the volume through the Hoosier. So there's two different kinds of audio configurations there, and let's see if

that made a difference. Please, it okay. That is much better. Okay, yes, I can definitely feel it way better now. Okay, so that's what you have to do if you want more intensity in the PlayStation. Up the Volume. Oh yeah, the door, it's jiggling and it's like rumbling. Strategy, that's so cool. So yeah, up the volume in the system, that's going to increase the volume in your headset. So lower it on strap, you should be good to go. This is a good experience now. Even my footsteps, you can feel my footsteps in my chest. This is really cool. All right, now I am in Gran Turismo 7 and I want to give that a try. How does this go? Okay, it starts to rumble as the RPMs go up. [Music] Thank you. [Music] This is pretty cool. Yeah, so it's like the sensation you would get from a dual sense controller, but you just feel all of that, like the tires gripping for traction, the engine, you hear, you feel it all.

in the strap, and it's pretty cool. It starts pretty nicely. I wonder what it feels like if I crash. See what happens. Oh, that's a weird. Okay, I actually thought to crash in the headset, so not the strap. So, the strap is more like in the center where the car is, and then the headset rumbled whenever I crash. Interesting.
