hey everyone, it's spicy sushi. So, I just want to make a quick video covering my plans for the new league, the new Settlers of the Cowgirl League. Um, I know I usually do like a top five Starter video around this time, but honestly, there's just so many new builds and so many changes that came with the new patch that I don't think I can really narrow it down this time. Uh, I've honestly never seen a patch where there's so many viable builds. Like on stream the past week, I tried to like put together a top five for fun, and then it turned into top 10, then top 20, then top 30, and at this point, it's basically we've just made a compendium of League starters. Now, I did put tiers next to them because people kept asking for tiers, um, and so that's what we did here. Don't take them too seriously. Honestly, it has my own biases here, and it's for softcore trade specifically, and these could move around all the time, right?

like uh there, there's been numerous builds where new pobs have come out like the build crater has updated it or like a patch came out like the last one where a lot of, you know, like the retaliation skills where I'm think I'm probably going to be moving melee up now because of how crazy those retaliation skills are. So it's always moving but basically just for fun I wanted to make like a compendium of League starters and have like build guide links not just like poos. I want to actually like link to build guides, YouTube guides, Max roll, whatever, and so I want to have that fully fleshed out by like Thursday. Feel free to look at it, you know, give me feedback, uh, you know, if you come to my channel I'm probably going to be working on it tomorrow, you can give feedback or provide more builds because basically I'm just taking what I'm giving when a new build comes out, a new YouTube video, we check it out, we look at the PO and then add it, um, so it's definitely

not done yet is what I'm trying to say. But anyway, check it out if you want to. I'm not going to be doing like a top five starter this time, nothing like that. But anyway, now I probably want to get into my plans for League start and the starting build that I'm going to go with. I know some of you might be expecting some like degenerate Strat or something of the past where I do like 30 hours of heist, you know, sanctum these days, and then push for simulacrum, which honestly did sound a little bit enticing. But I usually burn out super hard with those kinds of strategies. This time I'm actually taking like a brand new approach because this league mechanic looks like the most fun that I've seen in a long time. Not necessarily like the island or like, you know, like the trading and the and the cargo and the um, what is it like the map devices that you hire map Runners for. That stuff looks kind of wild to me. I'm not sure. It looks like

the perfect situation for a complete disaster, to be honest. Like, super unrewarding and cost a lot of gold to set up. But, you know, we're yet to see. I'm sure I'm going to explore that side of it. But what I'm really excited for is grinding gold to be able to afford experimenting with the new Rec combinator, which is actually like the Sentinel mechanic brought back. If you weren't there for that, it was probably one of the best crafting mechanics ever introduced in Path of Exile. It's actually not as strong as Necropolis in a lot of ways, but there's also a lot of ways in which it's super unique and amazing. And that's because you can basically move mods wherever you want them to be. We couldn't do that with Necropolis. You could try to maybe like make a, um, you know, you could make like grasping males and stuff and put breach mods on them. But this is a whole another beast when you enter Sentinel, um.

Rec combinating, so I am really excited for that. Honestly though, they did say it's been nerfed, so I do want to explore what those Nerfs are. I think they tease the first one was no more mutations. They did not tell us what the second one would be. If I had to guess, it is probably going to be that we can no longer move mods where they can't inherently roll. So let's say like spell suppression moving that to a Val regalia or whatever the new the new highest energy Shield base is. I could see them definitely nerfing that part of it because it was pretty busted. Um, I would love it to still be in the game, but it was pretty insane. So if anything, I'd put money on that we can't just move spell suppression, move Fizz reduction, move armor to AOL G stuff like that, right? So that's probably what it is. I'm probably going to go for something crazy like a perfect bow or claw day one. I'm really excited to push this. I'm going to need a

lot of gold though especially for the new black mark now. This potentially looks like just a better Rog, which is exciting. It's also a little bit depressing. To be fair, it does look like a massive gold SN. Basically, you can pick whatever base you want, and then it'll roll really high tier mods on it. Similar to rag Rog, it's basically that, but you get to roll the like if you have really good suffixes, you can keep re-rolling pre prefixes until they're good as well. You can't really do it with this. I assume though you could actually buy a bunch of different items items, and then mash them together with the recombinator if you have two pretty good items. If you want to make one really good item, you could try that. But you know, to be fair, it does look like a massive gold sink. It's especially something that you don't want to like do super early on because, well, maybe a little bit right, but you do want to actually advance your settlement.

don't want to just be blowing all of your gold on the black market, so I think Rag is still going to be really good early on, which I'm happy about CU. I always do love to do Rag for at least a few hours at the start of a league to get some good gear um, and so maybe that is like supposed to be after all because uh, it just costs gold. It doesn't look like anything else though. I don't know how much gold we'll be able to farm, and that brings me to my next uh thing that I wanted to talk about is that basically for the first time ever, I want to go all in on the league mechanic. And to go all in on the league mechanic, I'm probably going to need to F find a strategy that makes the most gold per hour possible um, whether that be bossing, which honestly I kind of doubt, or maybe something like t17 farming, which I have a feeling will be the best way to get gold. Uh, we'll have to see, right? So I wanted to play a build.

that would be flexible to do anything in the game if I wanted it to. So I think I'm going to go with Ark Mage probably. I do want to see some more po since the retaliation skills came out. I might just go for melee last second but Arc Mage is just really really strong. You do so much DPS and you have so much tankiness on a very reasonable budget. And honestly, the coverage and the mapping is great. I think it looks like a lot of fun because I want to be able to do T 17s. But then if something happens where another Strat is going to be better, I can easily switch to it without being like, Oh man, my build's not really suited for this type of mechanic. I guess I just have to avoid it, you know. I don't want something like that to happen because we were teased actually that a lot of quantity bonuses were being added back to P lead mechanics. This immediately makes me think of possibly Alva. Alva used to be like had

the most quantity multipliers in the game. I think uh you know in in the amount of time that you invest so if they added quantity back to Alva then maybe doing Alva temples will be the best way to get a lot of gold drops at the end of each Alva. You're I'm just not sure right um I have a feeling t17 juicing might be the best way and but so you know I just want to be flexible and so I don't really have like a defined thing that I want to do. I know I'm probably going to do rag for a few hours but after that I'm not entirely sure so anyway um that's all I wanted to tell you guys about today.
