so it's not dark out like it usually is, but it's still early. It's 6:53 right now, and instead of doing cardio this morning, I did cardio and a HIIT workout. Because last night, I was in a rut, and I don't get in ruts often because I have all these tools to push myself and get out of this rut and raise my frequency. But it just seemed like last night, I was stuck in my head, and it's almost kind of like a bittersweet feeling when I'm like that. It's like I'm sitting there because I'm faced with this problem, but that's kind of the joy of life, is that we get faced with problems that we're able to solve, and then it's a moment of bliss, and then we're faced with another problem, and we're able to solve it. It constantly gives us stimulation. It constantly gives us, as men, something to do. That's what we're meant to do. We're

meant to solve problems. We're meant to contribute to the world. We're meant to be creators and providers, right? So, I'm sitting there and I'm just battling with this feeling of like, you know, like how can I switch up what I'm doing? I'm just, I'm feeling very like mundane, right? And I'm used to this. This is what happens. The motivation comes and the motivation goes, yet I still remain consistent. I still do what needs to be done regardless of how I feel, but the human in me always wants that good feeling when I wake up, that motivation, that drive. So, I'm always constantly trying to find it. And last night, I just felt so mundane. I just, I didn't want to, I didn't want to go to sleep, but I knew I needed to go to sleep. I basically finished all the work that I could force my brain to do. I wasn't having any ideas, just nothing felt. And I've been feeling like this for the past couple of days, and I just

this quote that I always repeat in my mind came back to me, and it's just like Simplicity is the greatest sophistication. And that made me think of an Earl Nightingale, you know, where if you guys have heard who Earl Nightingale was. Basically, he was kind of one of the early guys who was mentored by Napoleon Hill, and he would make those recordings. If you've ever heard that guy that's like We become what we think about, and it hit me because I haven't thought about that in so long, and I just was hearing his voice We become what we think about. And I remembered that every single solid night I used to listen to that recording, and I would listen to him, and it was like The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale. And I sat there, and as I was writing my nightly routine, I thought to myself, I was like John Mark, go back to the basics. I thought back to when the most

passion and the most fire was inside of me, and it was like when I was seeing absolutely no success, and I was embodying, you know, what I call the warrior in this life. It's like I was waking up every single day, putting it all out on the battlefield, laying it all out on the line, literally pushing with every single amount of effort that I could, and I was getting absolutely slashed and slaughtered, and I was seeing no progress from my effort. Yet, I was waking up again at 4:25 to do it all again. I was waking up again at 4:25 to do it all again because I knew what I was driving towards wasn't this massive goal at the end. It was the small goal. It was the daily steps. It was the daily habits. That is what kept me excited. That is what kept me strong because instead of thinking, Oh my gosh, look at all of these damn things that I have to do to get to where I want to go, I was like, Look at all these damn

things that I get to do. Look at all these things that other people, if they want to accomplish what I'm going to accomplish, look at what they're going to also have to do. And I felt a joy in every single day, the harder it was knowing that most men weren't going to be willing to do what I did. Most men weren't going to be willing to sacrifice their sleep and wake up when I woke up at 4:25, when I still wake up. Most men weren't going to sacrifice their little comfortable warm shower in the morning. Most men weren't going to take the time out of their day to write their plan for the next day, the night before, so that when they wake up, they don't drift and they get straight to work on their mission. And I just thought over and over, and I was like, John Mark, go back to the basics. Because I'll be honest, recently with how my business has been going, my progress with my physique, I've just, I've been learning so rapidly. Stuff has

started to get so mundane that I found myself trapped in a Big Goal again. And this morning, here I am with the passion again, with the motivation again, coming to you guys because it's always the basics that move us forward. The boring work is what moves us forward. When we focus on the end result, when we focus on just the success of the long term, we lose motivation because we just think about the deficiency between where we are now and where we want to be. And if you're truly driven and you're truly motivated, that should be a huge, huge gap. But guys, this is what I've started with, and it's what I've continued to push with. It's the four pillars of man: the mindset, the habits, the nutrition, and the training. This is what developed my physique. This is what developed my business. This is what developed my passion, my motivation, my discipline, my consistency. This is what developed my confidence. This is what developed my certainty in life. Because instead of just trying like everyone else to float

through life blindly aiming for something far off in the distance. All I did was set up principles, set up a routine, set up a process that I know if I stick to this, it is impossible for me to not reach the goals that I have for myself because I'm in alignment with exactly the things that need to be done to get there. Guys, if you copy and if you implement and take what other people have done, you find people who are in an area that you want to be, who have accomplished things that you want to accomplish. You see what they're doing, you see what has worked in the past for them, and you put your own soul energy to that. When people invest in my program and they come work with me, and I work one-on-one with them either as their fitness and mindset coach, teaching them how to develop the physique of their dreams, the mindset that is unbreakable, that can accomplish anything, that can stick to the daily habits day after day after day after day, and continue to

accomplish what they know they need to accomplish, or when people come to me who they've already learned from me how to do that, or they've already done that in their life, and I teach them how to teach that to others by scaling their Fitness business, teaching mindset to other people, because they've become so congested with this fire that I preach about, with so just overwhelmingly saturated because they understand that every single solitary day when you focus on the steps, you focus on the sacrificial morning routine, when you focus on waking up early in the 4:00 a.m. Club, pushing yourself, always choosing the hard decision, because when you have two decisions, the hard decision and the right decision are almost always the same thing, when you fully learn how to sacrifice in the present for yourself in the future, and you combine that with taking the risk of investing in yourself, investing in your skills, and you either pay with your time or you pay with your pocket. I had to pay with my time because I had absolutely no

money. But as soon as I started getting money, I started to pay with that money so I could gain time back because time is more valuable. And look at how much I've accomplished now, how many lives I've changed. It just goes to show that no matter how far I come, the basics are always the building blocks. It's always the fact that when something's in front of me that I think is a roadblock, no, no, no, brother, it's not a roadblock. It is a stepping stone to where you need to be. The four pillars of man: mindset, habits, nutrition, and training are literally what will take you to the next level, guys. I, I, I genuinely, I can't stop making progress even if I wanted to because I've instilled this in my life. I think back to when I used to repeat that phrase, You become what you think about, You become what you think about, and that was when I had just stopped smoking weed every single solitary day. I was working at a Jersey Mike's, you know, I had a good

physique. I was going to the gym but very consistently. I was going to the gym but my diet was shitty. I was staying up super late, had no vision for my future. I had like negative $80 in my bank account and then, you know, I started to create these businesses and I failed one business, I failed another business. I even created a [__] a damn candle business because I got so discouraged by the manufacturers that I was working with. And as a man, I was like, I've never even lit a candle in my entire life, but I'm good at working with my hands and I wanted to create something. So, I was doing that. I was also going to school full-time and I was working. I was working out in the mornings at 5:00 a.m. I was working for a moving company. I was working for a junk calling company, putting all my money into this business, losing money. But I always, every single solitary day, I would wake up at 4:25. I would still go to the gym and do my

cardio. I would stick to the mindset and the process that I knew would elevate me, and nothing has changed except that those combined reps have built my empire. But the empire is built in the micro, and I'm only just getting started, and I'm going to change more lives, and I'm going to generate people more money. I'm going to completely change the way that every single man who comes across my channel thinks about life and has the outlook on life, and they stop having this [ __ ] outl, this outlook, this victim mindset that all these things are happening to you, brother. These things are happening for you so that you can learn because the depth of your struggle determines the height of your success, right? Your frequency is what you frequently see, so when you're constantly having problems and elevating them, you're going to constantly be seeing the highest version of yourself. You become what you think about. You have to continuously put yourself in difficult situations so that you can continuously prove yourself that you have what it

takes what a disgrace it would be to go through life and not have any problems because the magnitude of your problems equals how great your success will be. If you only have tiny little problems, you will only have small little stepping stones to only reach a small amount of success. So, you should look at the problems as a blessing because these massive problems are what equals massive success once you've solved them. So, stop getting discouraged and getting in a rut thinking that all this is happening to you. It's happening for you. All you have to do this simple equation is focus on the micro, focus on the daily process, focus on the daily habits, build yourself an unbreakable routine that no matter what is thrown at you, you know that if you stick to this routine and this process and these certain traits, these certain decisions that you make when you sacrifice what you want in the moment for what you know is best for you long term by putting purpose in the moment over pleasure in the moment, nothing will stop you ever.
