This is the Z Flip 6. It's an interesting phone. And if I compare it with the Z Fold 6, then there are a lot of upgrades compared to last year. Not a lot, but there are some upgrades. But this phone & its form factor is so interesting, there aren't many other brands in it. Slowly, this is a matured product. 2 years ago, when I used to look at it, I used to think it needs improvement. Yes, this is the Z Flip 6. Today's unboxing & first impression. And I think we'll go in depth about the form factor. But if you're new here, then don't forget to SUBSCRIBE! Look at this, especially the rings look nice. Alright, it's a small box obviously, what else? This is a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, then a sim card tool & you have documentation. That's about it, there's nothing else. So these are the 3 cases.

This is an interesting case. This is a flip suitcase. This is silicone, and this is a kind suit. We'll open it at the end, but first let's look at the phone. First and foremost, I had seen the Z Flip 5. The corners are rounded, just like the Z Fold 6. It's not a box. It has flat sides, and the sides have now become matte. So it feels more premium, and I think that feels better and looks good. Let's take it out. Let's do that one-hand test. Oh, you can open it. You have to yank it, but you can do it. Once you get used to it, you'll be able to do it easily. Let's see if you can do it with your finger. Because these have flat sides, so I thought it'd be difficult. But no, you can open it with one hand. Yes, you can! The weight is not much. I don't think it'll give you a lot of phones.

Your phone will fit in one palm. It's very nice, but its weight is 188.3g. So I was on the dot. It's not very heavy, and it's really small. The form factor is amazing. There are 2 microphones at the bottom. There's a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grill. On the side, there's a power on and off button, which doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. There's a volume rocker. There are 2 microphones at the top. On the left, there's a SIM card tray. Let's find out. Oh yes, there's a single SIM card slot. So there's a physical SIM, and you can also use an eSIM. So there's 1 physical and 1 eSIM. It has a metal glass and wheel design. There's Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection at the top and back. On the side, there's an aluminum armor. Let's drop this. Oh! No, nothing.

Oh! I'm looking at my table more than the phone. Let's open it & go. This is a bit of a tension as there's no protection here. This is a foldable display. So let's do this. 1, 2. No, absolutely not. No, absolutely not. It's well built & as I said, it's a 6th generation flip, so it shouldn't be a problem. I've dropped it 4 times. No problems. We've seen it from the outside, now let's look at it from the inside. Let's talk about the cover display first. It's 3.4'' in size. It was 3.4'' before & it's still the same. It's slightly changed. I'd say it's changed because these 2 cameras are accented in the look. The look of these folders has been increased in the last year as per the previous generation. But this looks nice. The inside display is 6.7''.

The cover display has HD+, 60Hz refresh rate. But the inside display is a 6.7'' Full HD+, 120Hz AMOLED display. So there's no problem in terms of brightness. Specs. It comes on the latest & greatest chipset, it's an 8th Gen 3 processor. It used to have an 8GB variant, but the base variant is 12GB. It's 12GB 256GB. There's a 512GB variant as well. It has LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage. But I'm very happy, it's probably the happiest hardware. The battery has been upgraded, it's a 4000mAh battery. It used to be 3700mAh, now it's 4000mAh. The charging remains the same, 25W charging, 15W wireless charging, 4.5W reverse wireless charging. The battery has been upgraded, which is a good thing.

It'll last you the whole day in moderate & normal light usage. It's obviously flippable. It's a very small form factor. The battery is small, so you'll use it a lot & use it heavily. And it's good for heavy usage as well. It's an 8th Gen 3, so there's no problem in multitasking. In fact, we played some games on it. We even played Jaichi Impact on it. You get 55FPS on the highest settings. Even with the small form factor, the audio quality is really good. You'll enjoy multimedia on this device, especially the screen & audio. The thermals are in check. Despite the small form factor, the vapour cooling chamber has increased to 46-47 degrees. We played games on the highest settings for a long time. It's 46-47 degrees, not more than that. The AnTuTu score is above 1.6M. So again, I'm ok with it, 1.6M.

You get the same 8th Gen 3 on the Z Fold 6 as it's a big form factor, and has more cooling. It comes with One UI 6.1.1, which is based on Android 14. You're going to get major updates for 7 years. You're going to get Android 20. You're going to get updates for Android 20 & 21. I don't know whether you're going to use that phone for 7 years. But yes, Samsung has promised updates. Let's talk about the AR features. The best feature on this phone is the interpreter mode. If you travel a lot, you're going to love this flip. Why? Because you're talking to the phone & the other person is listening. He's seeing everything on the screen & it's being translated. He's speaking in his own language & it's being translated on your screen. That's the real-world effect of AI & how it's helping you.

The implementation is seriously good. You're getting suggested replies on the cover screen. If you get a message on WhatsApp asking if you're going to a party, the AI will analyze the last 7-8 messages & suggest you the replies: Yes, I'm on for the party, I'm not in the mood to party. Whatever it is, the AI will analyze it & give you the related replies, and they work quite well. Now the wallpapers are interactive. For example, you can do timepass, so you get interactive wallpapers. Not just that, there's also an ambient wallpaper. It changes according to the time of the day, so it'll be bright in the morning & dim in the evening. And if I talk about the cover screen, you can add widgets. There are 8 panels & you can add the widgets you want. You can use the apps & widgets you want. These are all widgets. Let's move on to the AI features. I liked one thing: you can generate AI wallpapers.

You can do it for the inside, but for the cover screen, because of the form factor, it suggests that the wallpaper will look good. So that's there. And just like Z Fold 6, Circle To Search has gone to the next level. It understands 3 languages. So if you've circled something with different languages, it'll understand that. And do watch the video on Z Fold 6. There are AI features in this too. But there's no S Pen support. You'll have to use your finger to draw on the fold. There are AI features in the photo too. But let's talk about the camera specs. And there's an upgrade here. It used to be 12MP with 12MP. Now it has a 50MP primary sensor & a 12MP ultrawide sensor. If I talk about the sensor inside, you get a 10MP sensor in the center punch hole. There are a lot of photos taken with the front, back & all the cameras.

So go & check it out. The GDrive link is stored in the description. If I talk about the features, you get all the features in the camera app. I'd like to talk about the videography specifically. This is more social media optimised. You can use the camcorder mode. You can shoot 4K 60FPS. It has an auto zoom feature thanks to the cover screen. You can place the phone here & it'll move ahead & back. It'll compose your feet & head. It'll zoom up to 0.6X. If it comes close, it'll only zoom that much. So it does it on its own. This is also an AI feature. And as I said, this is more social media optimised for Instagram. Now there's a night mode Instagram camera too. So basically it uses this camera. But it has a good integration with Instagram. And there's Portrait Studio too which is my favourite feature. Like I showed you in Z Fold 6.

You can take any photo, and you need a pencil sketch, a watercolour drawing, 3D, etc. You can create all these things. You can generate amazing profile photos. Let's talk about the connectivity. It has side-mounted phones. It has a fingerprint sensor and face unlock. It works very well. Connectivity: You get WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC support, and 4 mics. And this is especially for those AI features as you interact a lot, and it has to catch all the audio. The rest of the features include IP 48, and you shouldn't have any problems if you're using it in rain. And before I forget, let me show you the cover screens. This is the most expensive one at Rs 8000, and the leather finish looks nice. If you want to use a flip phone, you should get a case for sure. This is for Rs 4000, and it has a satin finish. And then you have the holder from the back.

This is an interesting clear case. But if you want, you can put it at the back, and you can match the wallpaper on the cover screen. But this clear case is also for Rs 4000, and it's overall good quality. And as I said, you get 3 exclusive colors for this case. If I talk about the offers and price, it's for Rs 1.10L, but offers are for Rs 8000. I'm showing you all the details on the screen. You get offers on Z Flip 6 as well as Z Fold 6. Essentially, it's around Rs 1 L in offers. But the good thing is, it's a 12GB-256GB variant. You also get a watch, TWS, Buds, bundle offers, and an assurance program. Like in Fold, you get an assurance program for Rs 999, and screen damage protection for Rs 999. So this is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6.
