Addie, it's a lovely name, don't you think? For a child, I might name my firstborn daughter Addie. So what is this thing? Oh my goodness, so this is very clearly trying to make people think of Adderall. What else is new? I see, I've seen a couple

different companies try to do something like this. So I, I've honestly have no clue what this is. This appears, this is some sort of supplement. So it's a supplement, not a medication. You understand the difference. Medications are regulated by the FDA, supplements are

not. I, I, I honestly have no idea what this is. I saw this somebody posted on one social media for I don't even know what it was and I was like, oh my gosh, I have to figure out what this is. So let's do that here today. I'm Grant Harding. I'm

a licensed pharmacist in three states and I'm a drug pricing expert and I like to review medications so you guys can make better, more well-informed decisions. And today, I'm going to be testing this out, this Focus stimulant to see how it actually works. So let's turn the camera

around and open this up first of all, and then I'll get into the testing. Addie, no prescription required, Focus stimulant. Let's get it. We got 30 extended release capsules. I don't know why they put that on here. What, what about this is extended release exactly?

Is there like microspheres in here? Is there crystalline structure? It dissolves slowly in a physiological medium? I doubt it. I think they just literally put that on there. So what actually is this? Um, the main thing here is WGP, which stands for what, goodness, child?

Please, no, I'm just kidding. Um, I don't remember what it stands for, but it's like uh, it's like a green caffeine powder, so it's like a natural caffeine supplement basically, and you can surmise that's probably doing the heavy lifting.

Here in this concoction, amla uh, powder and brahmi, those are two um, you know, herbal supplements that if you want to Google it and find whatever you want to about it, you can. That's my biggest gripe with supplements, but I did see that

those were linked to helping with ADHD. Uh, to what degree, Lord only knows. You know, the serving size is two capsules. Remember you get 30 of them. So let's open this up, but first um, I wanted to talk about how this actually, how effective this is. So the website is

actually very professional, and they do have studies and uh, we'll take a look at those if we haven't already at this point in this video. Uh, but I did see that the study, the one that I looked at, was funded by this company, which is a red flag, but

it's not a total, you know, you don't totally discredit a study because of that, but it doesn't really look that good. All right, manufactured in the USA by Addie Products LLC, and they're out of Arizona. Okay, cool. All right, let's open

this up. So far, I'm very impressed. I mean, this looks very professional, the website was great, everything looks great so far. Oh, I was expecting there to be a little cap. All right, so that's what it looks like in there. Now, these definitely smell very

earthy so I'm going to just take one of them so they're unmarked and they they're they're jam packed they're clear too so um I think that that's like a you know you're you're reaffirming for the customer this is herbal you know

it's clear look at it look at it you know it's it's brown so this is from the earth oh my gosh there's a lot oh my gosh there's a lot in there so this is uh I mean this feels like an herbal supplement this does not

feel highly processed or anything um I mean this feels like it was just mixed and put in a capsule so that's probably again what is extended release about that at all they just put it in a capsule extended compared to what I wonder how it tastes let's try

it tastes like nothing okay I have with me on my screen here the adult ADHD self-report scale um and this is supposedly like a peer-reviewed gold standard a screening tool not a diagnosis tool it's a screening tool people get that mixed up um so we as a nation still have not

gotten to a point where it's easy to edit a PDF so here we are now in an image editor everything has to be difficult that should have been solved about 30 years ago at the invention of the internet but let me just oh good got to

got to select my text box here can't just edit something no that would be way too easy Grand Deo today's date is yes okay how often do you have trouble wrapping up the final details of a project once the challenging parts have been done very often is there a reason

Why are these boxes shaded? It's to do with difficulty getting things in order when you have tasks that require organization. Very often it's very difficult for me. I completed the questions on the tool and realized that virtually all of them were just asking, "Do you want to have ADHD?"

So mark an X in the gray area, so score part eight if four or more marks appear in the dark shaded boxes within part A, then the patient has symptoms highly consistent with ADHD. All of them were in the shaded box for me, so I more than likely have ADHD. Okay, it basically says part B is just kind of to help the practitioner a little bit, but only the part A is the important part. Is what it says, at least for screening. So, um, there you have it. I have ADHD. Let's take this pill and see if it

helps. So these are pretty big and you're supposed to take two of them, so I'm going to take two of them here today, probably one at a time. Oh my gosh, it's so big. Okay, got one. That was tough, man. Okay, let's see if that helps uh with

attention and focus. Boom, boom, boom. L by Club say weo. It's been like two hours since taking the Addie thing, and I don't feel any different at all. I don't feel more motivated. I don't feel like I could focus any better. I don't feel any

different whatsoever. I forgot that I even took it honestly. So, I'm going to go take it to my friends and let them play with it and see what they think. This is the product website by the way, and they have some studies I'm going to check out here. But I wanted to

watch one of these videos together look a mother's story of how Addie helps her son Let's see what she has to say I have a 14-year-old son that as recent as 5 days ago we were 25 assignments late in algebra couldn't get it didn't

understand it a friend of mine told me about these natural pills called Addie he said it could help Isaiah with his learning problems I gave it to him on a Tuesday morning and I said take these before you go to school today he came home from school at the end of that day

he had a worksheet in his hand from yesterday's math class and it was nothing but scribbles and then he showed me today's worksheet from math class he had perfect notes all the answers correct wrote himself little bubbles explained the lesson to himself in words

that he would understand and then said to me I'm a genius mom he said one day he goes I'm a genius I know how to do math now and this is after a solid seven years of trying to figure out how to teach the kid just how

to learn he could never listen to the teacher right on the board and write he had to choose either listen or write but to do both things he could never do it so school has always always been a struggle until we tried this and he takes it every morning before school and

now he actually is excited about going to school after 5 days of my 14-year-old using Addie a teammate was over at the house talking about how he was also failing in school he's a sophomore in high school I told him that he can

try it it's all natural I gave him a pack to take home for himself he took two adies in the morning I picked him up from school the next day and the kid said all of a sudden he's a genius too so learning became easier he understood

the material in class he was able to do his homework that night and now the kid has the dreams of being on the basketball team next year because he's no longer failing any classes in school wow that really heartwarming story especially whenever you talk

about kids like I'm so happy to hear that both of those young men had their lives basically turned around I just hope it's real I I think it's real I don't I don't think anyone would lie about that right I'm excited well let's look at the

research real quick oh they got a lot of research for this okay as I'm looking to the this study I see a major major error uh let's see proprietary blend it opens the parenthesis and then it never closes it I don't know lost all respect for me no

but seriously uh this is uh from the Cleveland Clinic and you know it's just a basic study you know they give someone the pills test them they have several different tests that they use and from what I could tell I mean it looks to be effective this Addie um

product um and it has the results here that you can take a look at if you like uh two things to note here I think there's only like 14 people in the study which is not a whole lot but it is what it is sometimes and then they also

I acknowledge here that this study was supported in part by an unrestricted grant from the manufacturers of the product, so uh, do with that information what you will. I'm excited to try it. Um, let's let's get into this, let's just try it out. I went to one social gathering or

organization and after staring awkwardly at everyone for a good 45 minutes, I was able to make contact with one young man who looked like he was able to help. Do you want to come back to my lair and try a gas station focus pill? Um, I'll go back to it later but I don't

want to try the pill. What I just said. Nice. Okay, so do you like come here pretty often or no? This is my first time. All right. Um, I I've been here before. Yeah, you've been here before. Yeah, okay. Yeah, this is my first time here. Have you ever tried a

gas station pill before? No. That was actually the first question you asked me, and I'm still a little put off. All right. In my pursuit of obtaining truth and knowledge, the only thing I found for certain is that nobody wants to try gas station pills with me. If you would like

to sign up to be a gas station pill tester with me, head over to crushcost.com and fill out the Buddy form. As for this product, the only thing I can safely say is that it did nothing for me. But the lady in the video on the website

claimed that it helped her son and her son's friend, so perhaps it just depends on the person. For me, in my professional opinion, knowing what's in this, I don't think it's going to be very helpful. But um, at I think it was like $30 a bottle, I

I mean, it's something you can decide on your own
