Large oil tank manufacturing plant located in Eumseong, Chungcheongbuk-do. This is the oldest factory that first manufactured double-wall tanks in Korea.

This place consistently produces three large oil tanks per day. A CNC gas cutting machine cuts the top of the tank to fit the size of the oil tank.

The cutting process can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. A circular iron plate measuring 3200 mm was created.

Magnet crane, flanging machine. Using a rolling press machine, slightly fold both ends into a shape that is easy to weld.

The tank top is complete. This is a steel plate for making the oil tank body. A 3025 mm size steel plate is placed into a 3-roll bending machine.

Create the tank shape using a bending machine. Internal first welding rail. Place the automatic welder on the rail.

The welder moves along the rail and welds. Grinding work. First welding inside the tank completed.

Steel plate connection process. Three steel plates are joined together to create one oil tank. Submerged automatic welding machine.

For full welding, turning rollers under the tank twirl the tank. Flux. Body internal welding completed. Connect the body and top plate using a crane.

The part where the body and the head plate meet is welded. Single automatic welding machine. The body and top are connected.

Measure the size to assemble the manhole. Calipers for re-authorization. Make a hole using an oxygen cutter.

It is a highly difficult task that must be completed without error. A place for a manhole has been created.

Manhole attachment. This is an inspection manhole that allows people to enter the tank. Manhole production completed.

Steel plate external welding, flux. Welding is done on a rotating tank. Detector for non-destructive testing.

Non-destructive testing is a test that identifies defects in a tank without damaging the tank. Defect and crack inspection.

Spray magnetic particles and carefully check for defects. Glue the fiberglass mat over the manhole.

Apply resin solution. Apply resin on top of the fiberglass to prevent it from falling off. FRP cladding coating process

Glass fiber comes out from the top and resin comes out from the bottom to coat the surface. The FRP process must be repeated three times to create a usable thickness.

Rolling work. The rolling action flattens the fiberglass. Rinse the roller with water. Finishing resin coating

Hot air blower. We only use hot air blowers to dry in winter. Dry at a temperature of 35 to 40 degrees Celsius for about 1 hour.

Oil press attachment. Move the manufactured tank to loading. Measure the FRP coating thickness. It must be more than 3.2 mm.

An oil tank capable of storing 50,000 L of oil and gasoline has been completed.
