A few days ago, I went inside the Harry Potter store, and I tried live streaming in there, but the basement level gave me some trouble. So, I made sure to go back and record. It's, uh, quite magical in there. I also had some butterbeer, and I think I'm prepared for this walk now. So, uh, let's explore Manhattan. I have an umbrella ready in case there is some rain happening, but right now, it looks like it's holding up. My show, you can't wait to see the footage of the Harry Potter store. Yeah, I mean, it's, uh, quite requested, so I might put it up tomorrow morning, and I think it's fitting right now too with the Halloween season. You may be able to, uh, get a costume in there and dress up as a Harry Potter or one of the characters. Eddie says it's going to be windy tomorrow. Yeah, we have some severe weather warnings. We had some pretty bad rainfall this morning in New York City, but that's all passed now.

Most of the severe weather is north of New York City, hitting New England, Connecticut, Fairfield County, and New York. Says butterbeer tastes like an ice cream soda with a very thick whipped topping on top that tastes like butterscotch. It's very good but also very sweet. Yes, I did a review of the butterbeer at the end of my Harry Potter video. It tastes exactly like butterscotch candy with carbonation. That's what I thought. [Music] This cloud over here doesn't look good, but then it gets sunny over here, so don't really know what to expect in terms of the weather tonight. Connie says it looks like snow clouds. I mean, if the weather was a little bit colder, we might have snow. Governor and Senator William H. Seward, Dutch bike blogger, wondering where the rain is. That we'll find out tonight if it hits New York City or not. Supposedly around like eight o'clock, seven o'clock, that's when rain may be coming back to New York City.

again, but uh, then again, last night it said it wasn't going to rain until 11 p.m., and it started at like 8 p.m., so I was not prepared for the rain. I went back to Queens with the subway. I had to end my live stream early because I wasn't ready. So far, these renovations are looking very good on the Flatiron. You can zoom in, and a lot of the stone is on the side. It's cleaned up and looking very nice. My shell, you watch the Cuomo Bridge scooter ride. It's a long bridge. I know, even long on a scooter. I remember live stream. I walk across it. It took like an hour and a half just to walk that bridge. B. Griffin, the sewage structure famously uses the body of Abe Lincoln, not Stewart. Yes, I heard that before. I think Urbanist hosts exploring cities. No, aerial host of Urbanist exploring cities mentioned that before. This is the location of the first-ever Shake Shack. I guess all those leaves might be coming from, uh, over here. Maybe, maybe this tree is Wayne's asking in New York's Flat Iron Building. Is it just offices or also residential? It is going to be residential and offices as well, mixed-use. Uh, Valerie Ann has a question for Nightbot, but Nightbot won't answer you because it's an AI robot. Uh, some channels in the past requested that questions be in all caps so the hosts can see them, but the comments aren't in all caps. Is it possible, or YouTube senses? It really depends on the channel owner who's doing it, but for me, I enabled the Nightbot to get rid of all caps because it just distracts from the viewership. Capital letters make it really, uh, hard to see comments sometimes, sometimes it's spammed, so I don't want that interfering with the experience. But I will answer comments if they're in lowercase. So, and inside this clock over here, you have a Metro North information booth, and there's an elevator in the back. Right behind this buffer is actually an elevator. And if you take the Grand Central Shuttle subway, you'll be left right in front of it. Right here. So super convenient. Not so much of a line right now. So right here, 4, 5, 6, 7, S. The 4, 5, 6, and 7 trains are on the other side of Grand Central that way, but the shuttle trains right here. So that's the shuttle platform. So you get off right here, the exit, and Summit One Vanderbilt is here. You have like almost a direct entrance, and you can catch that Grand Central.

You know what I'm curious because the uh the Grand Central shuttle is kind of close to the um street level. Maybe I could ride it to Times Square and it'll stay connected because it does stay connected in that uh in that passage square and it's pretty much at the same level. So I'm curious. It's only one stop anyway. Let's ride the Grand Central shuttle. The Times Square one stop. It's the only station that it serves or the only two stations that it serves. We did the shuttle. They added more cars to it and uh they got rid of all the seats. So it's just leaning poles and seats at the end. One stop the Times Square FC say the only S in the city. Brooklyn. There's also the, uh, Rockaway Beach shuttle, and you got this one. There's three of them, but I think they, uh, label the, uh, shuttle trains differently internally on MTA. All right, let's see if we'll stay connected or not. One stop. Nice. All right, cool. We made it today. That's it. That was the one stop. Last stop. So, the connection was in and out, okay? At least it didn't totally drop. One of the quickest subway rides you'll have. Grand Central, the Times Square. I knew if all of the underground subways, the Grand Central shuttle may be the one that will hold up the best, and looks like that theory was true. One minute, the train just goes back and forth all day between Grand Central and Times Square. These are the original IRT or railings. That's it. It's leaving now. That was quick. Just goes back and forth, back and forth. So, oh, and you love the old subway. It's cool. 42nd Street and Broadway. Back in the old days, you can go right.

into the Nikabaka hotel from the store. This station originally was called 42nd Street and Broadway, but it got connected to the Times Square complex. You could read history, the history of the station here, cool little informational poster. The Times Square shuttle station, first known as 42nd Street and Broadway, was one of the original 28 stations on New York City's first underground subway line. You see direct entrances of the New York Times building and the Knickerbocker hotel, and they kept it, they preserved it. I'm going to go over to 8th Avenue and then walk on the next street over, 48th, 4th. I'll do it for all the side streets, why not? These are where all the theaters are. Oh goodness [Applause] so a loud car. Let's see how much is parking in Times Square. An hour is $44.77. Yikes, yikes. You can see like a quarter of a Broadway play for that money. So they live right above the streets here, and you have all these outdoor dining areas with people yapping like this all throughout the night.
