It's 8,000 LEDs are turned on, and it says Happy Hanukkah. And there go the dreidels, they go the dreidels, people, the dreidels. Probably pizza, I've never had before. Maybe I've had pizza in Toronto, and it was... it was not... it wasn't that bad. Donair pizza, donut little French-inspired pizza there, little French Canadian-inspired pizza there. I had pizza in Toronto, it was pretty good. The lighting is great to film. Did it ever do anything? Greenwood Cemetery. You know, I tried to stream out there a few years ago, and unfortunately, I couldn't get a PR. Well, there's two spots I want to stream from. So there's a statue that salutes the Statue of Liberty, and for some reason, around that spot, I

couldn't get a signal for the life of me, and then there's another grave that it's a statue that looks out, and in the wintertime, you could actually see Coney Island, and unfortunately, there the signal was horrible also, but in other spots, it's really good. So, I'm going to try to live stream from Greenwood sometime in the near future. Sometime in the near future, we'll figure it out. I want to stream so much in Greenwood too because you have those statues, you have a couple of the really great monuments, and then, of course, a little Quaker parrots. You can't go wrong with the Quaker parrots, those little green little parrots that they're smaller than pigeons, and they box, they fight, they go. Did they update Prism Live? I think they updated Prism Live. The thing looks a little different. You worked in the store, worked in the next-door store for years, took walks there. Yeah, literally next door. That's awesome. You know, that building was going to be uh, that little greenhouse crusty from Greenwood Cemetery was gonna be destroyed at one point, but luckily

So, this is the steeplechase parachute jump, a relic from a 1939-1940 world's fair. She stands at 285 feet tall, and she is adorned in over 8,000 LED lights. Soon as this coveted crap is over, that's right, gonna come out here for 14 days. I'm gonna have some fun. Whelps, there we go. The party never stops here on the boardwalk. And he wanted to build Miami-style condos on this lot. But he never got the zone change. So he was such a cheapskate. He didn't want to spend the money to demolish this thing. So he just left it standing. And it's been here ever since. But now it's more of like just lights, you know. Doesn't really actually do anything other than

So, try to go up six levels in this building. Now, obviously, the building doesn't hold trolleys anymore. There's actually a factory in there now. But the building, the whole building and the framing and all the old signage is still on the building. Kind of amazing. If you ever go to, if you ever go to the NYU Langone Hospital, us South Brooklyn, Southern Brooklynites call it Lutheran Medical Center. That's where I was born. So, where I'm walking right now, if so, if you've ever been to Steeple, if you're a kid in the 50s and in the 60s, and you ever visited Steeplechase Park, roughly where the stadium is today, this is where the Pavilion of Fun would have been. The Pavilion of Fun was a massive kind of barn-like building where you had lots of little kiddie rides in there, but more importantly, it was your entrance to get into the Steeplechase ride. Steeplechase ride.

with these big iron horses that actually went around inside, outside, and around the pavilion of fun. So, kind of where I'm standing would have been maybe where the tracks would have been for their ride, right? You remember that as a youngster. But, of course, when you got off the steeplechase ride, that's when the real fun began because then you ended up becoming part of performance. You became part of performance art in a place called the blowhole theater. And what happened was that as you got off the steeplechase ride, you ended up on a stage. And this stage would blow up your girlfriend's skirt or somebody would hit you with an electric pr cow prod. You had the funny wacky stairs. You had all these little obstacles that you had to get around. And you were on stage in front of people who were just on that stage that you're on now. And these, these perform, oh, we gotta, this guy's hearing me and he's, yeah, not gonna harm you or nothing. And you're screaming out like crazy.

anyway, yeah, I wanted to show you guys the more the 911 memorial there, but there seems to be a guy who has taken up housing over there. I know it's like a nice little, you know, like a, it's like a nice thing that Zamperla and CAI Central Amusements International are doing for the Parks Department in New York City. Because after all, they do have a sweetheart deal for rent. Always a nice vibe in Coney, absolutely.

This is the Coney Island Art Walls, basically a zoning change, so the owner of this land is called Joe.

Even though you go in here, some of the best street artists in the world are here. This is Lady Aco. I love this wall here, Lady Aiko, right there. Why didn't they put a ride in front of Wonder Wheel? Because it has a huge space. There are rides in front of the Wonder. Where's the whole kiddie park in front of the Wonder Wheel? There's a whole children's park in front of the Wonder Wheel. And then you got that big empty lot, which they're gonna build a serious ride there. Yeah, I'm going to show something. Anyway, we're here in Coney Island. That's why you say warriors. So right here, this is Thor Equities' building here that houses its sugar. This is the site where the old Henderson Theater used to be, and this is where Groucho and Harpo Marx first performed together. Kind of amazing. But now, let's go down the Bowery and see the darkened Bowery with the cyclone off in the distance. Look at this now. We've how many, I don't know how many live streams I've done from right here, and it's like crazy crowded and people everywhere. Good to see you there, Rob. I got to kill 30 minutes here. They're walking right, well, they're actually walking the opposite direction. They're walking towards me in the movie, but this is the shot and where we just were on the boardwalk. When we came off the boardwalk there, that was where Stout's bathhouse was, and that building was the building that they had like the warriors spray-painted on the front. I don't know why I have the hiccups all of a sudden. There we go. And here it is, the 100-year-old Wonder Wheel, 400,000 pounds of Bethlehem steel. 144 people could ride it at any given time. It's a naturally socially distanced ride. And I did not know this because Coney Island Jim told me this. It's perfectly aligned with north, south, east, and west, so it's perfectly on that east-west line. Kind of amazing warriors [Music] with the moon above it. The moon, the

Was the first thunderbolt faster than the cyclone? That's a good question jim. Do you know that? That's a good question. I've always been told that the thunderbolt was a better ride. I know it's one year older but I don't know which one was faster than this. I don't know which one was faster. Her work is awesome. She has the biggie smalls over there in a bushwick collective and

And in 1983, he actually is able to buy the Wonder Wheel. And it's, and the Budaris, they're a lovely, lovely, they're a real family. They're a real Coney Island family. They're so nice, so giving. They were, they were actually

using their 3D printer in the basement there in the workshop of Wonder Wheel Park, and they were making PPE for our first responders. That's beautiful. Oh, she's walking over the great Danielle Mastron is here. She's gonna have to kill time with me, so let's quickly look at this other plaque. I've never noticed these plaques before. David Weinberg, November 20, November 2nd, 1943, passed away on July 6, 1995. Always missed and loved by Sharon, Robin, Eileen. Capturing our eternal perfect view. I have to agree with that.
