Lucy, what chapter and verse? 5? Yes, we're on Revelation 5, verse 1, and I'm gonna read it, okay? You see this verse right here? Yeah, 5, verse 1. I have it up here on the board. I'm like, we're gonna read it together, okay? We're gonna read this verse together. And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a scroll, a scroll. Repeat after me, a scroll. Written inside and sealed with seven seals. Revelation, that's right. Do you remember when we made those scrolls a few days ago? Yeah, yeah. Should we look at her? Here we go. I'm gonna pass them off. Well, first, I'm gonna hold up the scroll so we can teach the kids with.

this all right. It's this daddy's. Remember, this is what a scroll is. It's like a roll, and these things here are the CEOs, okay? So God is holding, he's sitting on the throne. What's a throne? Well, we don't know if there's a cushion or not, but it's a big chair, like, right? Yeah, throne as a chair. It's where a king sits. Who's the king? God. God is the kingdom. What does he sit? What does he have in his hand? Is it in his left hand? No, that's your right. Now, where's your right hand, Lucy? Hold it up. That's it. Where's your left hand? Okay, hold up just your left hand. There we go. So God had this special scroll in his right hand. This is a book. The Bible's we have today are in a book back then, and in this verse, that was a scroll. Do you want a scroll? Let's open it up, and we'll see, okay? I'm gonna get a pair of scissors, and we're gonna open it up, and we're gonna find out that

only one person was able to do this and say who was able to. Oh yes, we can do that. We haven't got to that person. Okay, we got that verse on your paper in from India. So I'm gonna open these seals. Yes, so we can see what a scroll looks like on the inside. Okay, so this scroll was sealed up with seven seals. So we're gonna open it up and head writing all over it. Okay, okay, so this is what a scroll is. You see that it's paper is rolled up. It's different than a book, isn't it? And this is what was in God's hand. And what's inside of this scroll, nobody knew until it was opened by Jesus, right? We get, we haven't read those verses, him. That's what happened as Jesus was able to open the scroll. And guess what's inside of the scroll? Bad news for the bad guys, right? But seven seals of judgment against the bad guys. Horses, water, punishments to us, well, to the world, to the world of the horses. We're going to talk about these seals.

and another study that we're going to do, but there was all this writing inside of it, and it had to do with things that were going to happen on Earth. A lot of it was punishments to everybody who doesn't listen to God and in the Bible. So let's read the next verse, okay? And never like you guys, we guys wanna hold on here scrolls, okay? Let me see here. We're not gonna open them today, okay? That was Lucy's hold it in your hand, okay? Okay, well, they're not you guys have seven seals out. They're not. That's your right hand now. Keep it there, and I'm gonna read this verse, okay? Ready? Keep it there. I'm gonna read verse two, okay? This is verse two. I'm gonna read from right there. Then I saw, this was John, this is what he was seeing up in heaven. Remember, he was taken up into heaven. He saw a great big door open in the sky, and a voice said, Come up here, John. Then John came up there, and he got to go in and see God on his throne, and this is what

happens then I saw a strong angel proclaiming or shouting with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose the seals? Are you guys worthy to open that scroll? Yeah, nobody was worthy. Now check this out, verse three. I'm gonna read here, And no man, no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth, was able to open the scroll or to look inside of. So what did John do? Do you guys remember? But do you remember? So I wept much because no one was found worthy to open it, to read the scroll, or to look inside it. Okay, so what happened? John started crying because nobody was worthy to open the scroll. He wanted to know what was inside of it. He started crying. Guess what happens? But one of the elders, you remember who the elders were? There were those guys, those angels that sat on the throne, and how many were there? 24. So one of those elders came over to John, and he said, Do not weep or don't cry. Behold, the Lion of the tribe

of Judah, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals. All right, who is the Lion of the tribe of Judah? Let me take these back now. Who was the Lion of Judah? Yes, when Jesus comes back, is he coming back as a lamb? No. Remember, he came as a lamb when he died for us on the cross. When he comes back, he's coming back as a lion. Yeah, he's gonna wield the back to the bad guys. He's gonna roar, okay? And he's gonna protect us. Well, wouldn't you like a lion to be your protector? You wouldn't be scared for anything, would ya? What if there's a lion standing outside our house and a bad guy tried to get into our house? Would you be scared? Eat that bad guy, right? Jesus is like our lion. He's our protector, and he is mad at what the world is doing to Christians. If

he's not mad at us. He is our Shepherd. He protects us. Okay, all right, I got something for you guys. Like, I got it. I'm gonna quiz you really quick. Okay, what is this word right here? Jacob scrolls, Scott's Cup roll. All right, what is that word? Anybody know? See you. How many seals were on that scrub? Seven. Doesn't God kind of like seven, doesn't he? Yes, that's one of his favorite numbers. We see the number seven all throughout the book of Revelation. It's like there are seven days in a week, right? Yeah, Dad likes it. Number seven. Does God like math? Where is the why? Does he like shapes? It's just the weight 'cause he... That's just the way he made everything. That's okay. Yes, okay. What letter does the word seven start? That's right. Okay, please go sit down. All right, let's see if you guys know any other words. What is this word? Ah, that's right. What does that spell? Yes. Where does that spell? Bible. Yeah, Bible. What is this? What is this?
