extra work in that so that's you know it's going to be a very special event. As good as all these episodes are, I think uh you will have a lot of answers in that finale finale and some finality in it as well. But it's it's it's very you know the the show is Cinematic but that thing is its own badass film. Yeahh.

It just every time I got there just felt relaxed and we could take our time so much time of you know especially this season. We know each other so well and I think there's just like this synchronicity that happened where way more in the first season where I think everyone just kind of knows what to do and that was really magical this season especially watching Todd Campbell and Sam their back and forth their dial and that's our cinematographer yeah um really cinematograph is the season going to give us an answer to the big question right now is whether he's institutionalized or not which is the big Theory going on you don't have to say whether yes is it that he's in an institution that's his very you guys haven't heard that I never heard that L theories but that's the big one going around right now. What was last year? Last year was like we were Tyrell's baby or something like some

a mental breakdown in the corner. Yeah, he made an album while we were doing it. The guy is remarkable. He really is something else. It's incredible. Yeah, yeah, it's pretty good. I know he's dropping that soon. It's going to be huge. But it's great because it's consistent. He knows what he wants. It's, it's, yeah, he's there throughout the whole thing. There would have been no other way to do it. I mean, 'cause the way that we shot it, we were doing like on a Monday, we'd come in and do an episode from 202, 207, 204. So, it was all over the map. So, if we'd have different people coming in, it just would have been too complicated. So, how much rehearsal time did the two of you guys get, and what does that look like? Our show, we don't rehearse. We rehearsed at all this year, even like before scenes. I mean, we had you rehearse last year more, a little bit like when we would set up. Yeah, did you feel like we would come in

twin Theory or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You should write a book with all the theories. Will we get it and some insight? You'll definitely, yeah. I mean, you have, you'll have all the answers. You have more answers than you do now. I'll tell you, look, we answer a lot of stuff this season from the first season. So, I imagine a lot of the things that occur in this season, you know, might carry over to the next one as well. MH, can I just say, we have so many questions too, like the amount of times we're on set where I'm like, well, how do I know this or do this or whatever, and he's like, you'll find out. I'm like, wait, what? And the first, he told us a lot more this season. He has kept his mouth shut. There was one moment where I was standing next to him, and I was like, I just need, he was like, what do you want, Porsa? And I was like, the truth. He's like, that's nice. We all sit around and try and figure it out too.

we're at TV lines ComicCon Studio presented by ZTE with the Emmy-nominated cast of Mr. Robot. I mean, how exciting was that morning for you guys? Ask Ramy. Yeah, Ramy. Yeah, Ramy. How was that? I slept through it a little bit too long, and then I just... My phone was blowing up. I'm like, I should pick this up. I just didn't want to worry about it, so I said... But then it was... Yeah, it's thrilling. I mean, huge. Yeah, huge for our television, right? The whole show too, being nominated on USA. It's like big breakthrough. Sam, music, all the different ones, casting. Yeah, so Sam is directing all of the episodes, correct? He has. We just finished yesterday. What was that like? One person directing literally every episode of the season. I don't know how. I mean, he's not a human being. It's... And he, you know, is editing on the weekends. He's not... He does not stop working. It's... And he always has a smile on his face and his, like, best vibes. Yeah, I'd be having, like...

Yeah, he'll often be like, You're just too paranoid, anytime you bring up an idea like that. If you say, Oh, is he institutionalized or something like that? be like, Yeah, you're just, you're too paranoid, you're too paranoid. Do you want to know in advance what's happening, or would you prefer just getting the script and then finding out then? Well, we kind of, we did know most, we did the whole season in the first two days in ten years following from now. We don't know, like, the big plot, there's a lot of setups this season with just, you know, I have no idea, no idea, and he won't give it up that that are for seasons to come. So, give me a finale tease besides the crane. The finale could be a film in its own right. It is, it's on a grand scale, and you know, when I'm with Sam, I always feel like when we're shooting anything from that last episode, it's his baby. I feel like they were putting an

and like the C, we just go, we just go, we do it, you know. Some of our best stuff is in, you know, in a wide master. The first take right off the bat, we were struggling to get our final scene done, uh, just the other night for the entire season. And there was this huge swooping crane shot after that scene. But yeah, obviously, um, Grace had, uh, you know, she had to walk out, you know, into a crane, you know, a movement that you would probably rehearse an hour for to get right. And they didn't even rehearse it once. And that's the way we basically ended the season. So it's just kind of on the fly, you know. Yeah, right. But also, like, I think Sam was so prepared when we started, you know. It's like every script was written before we even started day one. So we came in, and that just took off so much pressure and made it possible to actually just focus on the work that we had to do, right? I mean, it was no didn't.
