Take it down. What's up? Welcome to another episode of Skins Golf dot TV. I'm Spencer Taring, and I'm Rob Turvey from the Ledbetter Golf Academy. Well, today we're going to find out which is the best driver from the M4, the M6, and the SIM. Yeah, so basically, we're going to have a look at some of the technology that's behind it, and just like anyone else who is out there ready to buy a driver, we're going to talk a little bit about the feel and how well we can hit it. Actually, let's use the TrackMan, get the numbers. We're gonna use the TrackMan, get some numbers. Yeah, so five shots each from each club, 30 balls. Yep, I'll report back to you later. Okay, let's go. Okay, so I'm up first. I'm going to use the M4 and hit five balls and see what kind of data we get. How many balls do you think we'll have by the end of it? We're gonna hit 30.

[Applause] [Music] It's a beautiful shot. Okay, so we've hit 30 balls. I've done five on each club. You've done five on each club. Yeah, we've got the numbers. We got the numbers here. How did it feel? To be honest, when I started with the M4, it felt really solid. But I gotta tell you, the weight feels a little bit funny for me. The M6, I really like that. I think it comes hot off the face. It's really good. But I think I was a little bit more accurate with this. And I think when I hit this out of the face, I love the feeling. It felt like I was really crushing it and getting to the real center of the golf ball. But you're a little bit biased on that because that is actually your club that you use. It's my club, so I use it. I'm using the M4 right now, but I do have to agree with you that I felt better hitting the SIM, even though I'm used to hitting this M4.

Yeah, so when we give you the numbers later, we're going to confirm what they are, but I think for feeling, I am she enjoying the sim. Yeah, okay, so we had a look at the numbers. We've got them here from the TrackMan. Let's talk about the M4 first. Okay, so the M4, we actually had some good shots with it. It actually produced the longest drive of the day and 285 into the wind. Who is that? Amelia? Okay, I'll give that to you. Yeah, yeah. Your swing speed, that was 116. So, yeah, nice work. I only clocked out around, was my biggest one, 110 today. One turn? Yeah, yeah. You need to get down the gym, mate. I need to go to the gym. The spin rate for this was quite low on our average of 10 shots. It was about 2300 or something like that. Okay, as we go to the M6, the spin rate was also low, averaged around 2200, um, to actually lower. It went down a

little bit lower, but the average distance went up another three yards. So, it went from 269 to 272. Yeah, and the ball speed, average ball speed actually increased as well by another two miles an hour. Now, if we have a look at the smash factor on that, the efficiency of our shot-making ability, yeah, it actually went up a little bit better as well. So, maybe we struck them a little bit better with the, yeah, so we had an average better shot. So, yeah, we're starting to strike it a little bit okay, but in general, you can see that the total distance, the average total distance is starting to come up a little bit. So, at this point, M6 is probably looking a little bit better. When we get to the Sim driver and we have a look at our ball spread, the first thing that we see the moment that we go through these and we have a look at our balls is the ball spread dispersion in terms of length, almost all the same, isn't it? Still the same. So, from longest to shortest drive, like our ball

dispersion is max maybe 10 yards average distance 273.7 so yeah about another two yards further yep now one thing that I will point out for this as well is the smash factor is pretty much the same but the ball speed has just gone up about a mile an hour so the reason why this is actually happening is because our club speed has increased as well now when the club speed increases and the smash factor stays the same basically that just means that the club is a faster club so there's a little bit of technology in the new golf club there from the sim driver it's actually showing that uh the way they've designed it is more aerodynamic and it's working so we got a little bit of extra speed out of there hence the average distance I mean we didn't hit all of those exactly perfect but the distance you know the dispersion looks fantastic yeah so I mean and we talked about it already didn't we in summary we felt great with the sim we did feel like a

it felt like the best club out of the three, I reckon. Like, when I hit that sim driver out of the center, it just felt a million bucks. Like, when I crushed it, I felt like I was almost crushing ceramic. It just felt really solid in my hands. So, in summary, yeah, is it worth the upgrade if you got the m4? I love my sim driver, mate. You do? You'd upgrade every time when you... Okay, um, if I was going to say for the average amateur out there, if you're ball contact, if you're not striking it in the center every single time, then probably the sim driver is the way to go because you can see even the misses are getting, you know, significant distance. Yeah, so for an upgrade, sim driver's the way to go, mate. So, next time we play, you're gonna lend me your sim or not? Not a chance. Oh my god, I'm gonna have to spend some money then.
