what's going on, guys? Average Tech Guy here, and today we're back. More tech, more reviews, right here in hands. Logitech Keys-To-Go. So let's [Music] talk. All right, so this is it. Logitech Keys-To-Go. Now, there is a very, very, very different format from the previous model of Keys-To-Go. Last Keys-To-Go was just a flat piece of matte-type material, kind of like the top of this, but the keys were actually embedded into it. And I did a full review of it, and I'll drop that video somewhere so you can see it. But it was a really, really good device. And this year, this is what you have. Individual keys, not all pressed together under a seamless, uh, matte finish, but, uh, individual keys. It comes with a full shortcut row up here. It can connect to three separate devices. And we'll just sit this down. And as you can see, it works with Android, Chrome OS, Windows, iPad, iOS, Mac OS, all those good things. Basically, anything that is Bluetooth will be able to connect to this device. Now let's take

just a quick look at the back so you can see kind of what they're advertising and who they're pushing this for. So, this is going to be a very ultra-slim design. It is very, very, very lightweight, works with multiple devices, has a 36-month battery life, and officially works with Chromebook, so very compatible and actually gives you all the compatibility right here: Android 12 and up, Chrome OS, Windows 10 and up, iPad OS 7 and up, Mac OS 14, iOS 17, all that good stuff. So, any of the latest firmwares, it will work. So, with that being said, comes in a few different colors. I picked up this nice blue 'cause I like colors. I'm not just a black-white guy. I just like all kind of colors. Has a really nice sleek finish, like I said, very lightweight, 36-month battery. It actually has a little tab. Now, this is the drawback because previous keys to go was rechargeable. This one is not rechargeable. If you can see right up top, they don't give you any cords, any cables when you

open this box. This is all that you get: the keyboard and the instructions. That's it. No cables, no chargers, no nothing. This is where you unscrew, and your battery is down in there. So, it's like the little circle batteries that go in an air tag, or like in a key fob, or in a Samsung tracker, and all that stuff like that. They give you this guide. So, this guide tells you it's the CR 2832. So, the little circle quarter-size batteries. But this is very important as well because in order to get this to sync up to your different devices, you need to keep up with this. Because it's going to tell you which buttons work, which. So, Android is FN and G. Function in P is Windows. Function in O is Mac. And Chrome OS is function in C. So, please keep up with this. All right. Now, with that being said, oh, and this is magnetic. So, when you fold this under, it sticks. No issues. So, you can lay it down just like so and be very versatile while you're typing. Now, of course, we're

going to be using this with our iPad, so all you got to do is turn on your Bluetooth. When you go there, you will turn your device on. And like I said, 36-month battery, and it's going to start blinking. And it pops up right here, keys to go. Very simple, very easy. So Bluetooth and request. I'm just going to type in those numbers. It is 210 708. Enter. And there we go, we are connected. And the solid white light lets us know that we are connected. So first thing we want to do is try a couple of shortcuts just to see how this is going to work. Now let's see if they give you. There we go, W brightness. That works. Um, volume, you can see volume going up and going down in the background. And we'll turn the brightness up a little bit so you can actually see the volume going up and down in the background. Turn the brightness back down on this device. Now it doesn't seem to have a dedicated home button, but let's see. Um, we can pull up our

apps. Oh, that's nice. Okay, we can swap through our apps, and we can go home just like so. So, this toggles all the way back around settings, and toggles all the way back around to our home screen. Um, screenshot. Boom. I like that. You got to screenshot directly on your keyboard. I like that a lot. Um, Escape doesn't do anything. If you hold it down, it doesn't do anything. That doesn't do anything. So, if we hit function and ah, there we go. And then we can put our there we go. So, it works. It's very versatile, and I like the way that looks, and I like the way that feels, like I said, very slim, very streamlined. So, since we've talked about all those features and things like that, let's see what the actual typing function is like. We got to see how that works. So, we will open up something that we got in here, and we'll make that full screen. And I'm going to just pick inside one of these boxes, and we'll type. And I'm not the best at typing, but

my hands are a decent size, and keys are nice and responsive. Nice enough that they're far enough away and not too much on top of each other, so that even with the large hand, it's still going to work. Boom, yeah, works really good, feels really good. You get a nice punch back from the keys when you are typing on it. I see no problem with this. All right, so this is even going to work with your Android devices, just as we just told you. Here we go, we got the uh z45 right here. Of course, we will open up our Bluetooth details, and we will scroll down to here. It's going to cut off in a moment, but we'll just hold this button down. So, we want to connect to a different device. We're going to hold that button down until we get that flashing light. We're going to rescan, and we see Keys-To-Go right here, now telling us to type this code in. So, the code is 3263 74. Enter it. Should just pair up, and we'll be ready to go. I think it worked. Yep, there we go.

the biggest question is you know I told you that there going to be certain commands that you're going to have to do to get it in that operating system like um keep up with this form right here and let's see Android function and G so we're not going to do that. I just want to test to see if it's going to work without doing the function in G. So I'm going to hold this down. Oh, actually let's do this. Dim the screen. Brighten the screen. Dim the screen. Brightness screen. And what else um screenshot. Did it did it take the screenshot apps. It opens up your apps. Okay um I don't know how to select the app but let's do that. Let's just select it with our finger. Okay and then um let's lock the device. There we go. Okay let's open the device and we'll will type in my code. There we go um let's do sound. Go up and down on the sound. Okay looks good. So when you have this with your Android devices and I don't have this in Android mode or

anything so it seems to work smoothly with everything. If you push the start and the option button, it pulls up your apps. You can scroll through your apps, and if you want to come out of this mode, all you do is hit the Escape key, and it takes you back to your home setting. So this thing is going to be good for your Apple device, which we got back there. And like I said, Apple, I swapped over, and we'll swap back over to our Android device, which is over here. It works seamlessly. I love it. I like it a lot. Now you can pick this up on Amazon or Best Buy or on Logitech's website. It's going to run you about 80 bucks. Very slim, very lightweight, very easy to use. Easy to carry. And this is something that I can get behind. I like it a lot. So I'm going to drop a link below.
