talana Exiles, welcome to another Path of Exile one video. Yes, there may be far fewer PoE 2 videos on the channel for the foreseeable future because there will be no Path of Exile 2 news on GGG Live, which takes place in just a few days on Thursday, July 18th. Grinding Gear Games themselves have announced that this particular live stream will not contain any new Path of Exile 2 information. So, me, who has been on the hopium that we'll get an early access release date for Path of Exile 2 in the next few days, well, my hopes have been completely dashed. But I thank Grinding Gear Games for setting expectations before the live stream so I didn't make this predictions video and talk all about the content we expect to see about PoE 2. Now we know what we're going to see, and that's Path of Exile One content in discussion. However, while I have been quite the hype lord when it comes to Path of Exile 2 content because I am very confident in what

exactly we will be getting for that game, and how we're going to receive it, and how Grinding Gear Games is currently crafting it for Path of Exile 1. I'm not as confident, obviously. I have been enjoying the Path of Exile one leagues for the past 5 years tremendously, even in the past two years when other people have said the content is lackluster. I think it's awesome. I've had a lot of fun getting 40 out of 40 challenges in these past few weeks. Yes, I was even a Crucible League enjoyer. The last League I didn't really enjoy was Lake of Colandra, and that was probably the fastest I bounced from a league. But ever since then, I've been playing a heck of a lot of Path of Exile 1 in the lead-up to Path of Exile 2. However, for this particular League, because there's no PU2 announcement attached, now it seems many Pue players are expecting this expansion to be Titanic. They're expecting it to be

a tremendous amount of content being added to the game not only in the form of the league mechanic itself, but the base game too. You see, the last time we actually got a new Pinnacle Atlas boss was back in 3.17 with the Eater of Worlds and the Searing exarc, and before that it was the Maven in 3.13, the echo of the atlas, and before that it was conquerors of the atlas with Cirrus and the rest of the conquerors. Then we go back to the shaper and the Elder, Uber Elder, and then all the way to eteri. You know, in that space of time from conquerors to Maven to sering exarc and the Eater of Worlds, we were getting consistent new Atlas expansions with brand new bosses, new mechanics, new things to chase. For the last while, we haven't. All the expansions have just been borrowed power expansions. The league mechanics are awesome, they're powerful, some of them have new bosses like the King of The Mists, but other

than that the core game hasn't received a ton of cool new toys. Of course, we got one of the biggest quality of life updates last league with the multiple Atlas passive skill trees. There's no real meat to that power that stays on. There's no new grand boss to chase after and fight and grab its new items. You know, in last Epoch, there's this new Pinnacle boss which I am on the cusp of fighting. If you want to see me try it, twitch.tv/ talk of Try. By the way, I stream a lot there Tuesdays, Thursdays at 7 o'clock p.m. Eastern and Path of Exile 1 hasn't received that for a bit. You can argue that t7s were exactly that, but I don't think they were as flashy as a brand new actual medium to fight a boss in. A lot of them were repetitious. They were reused League mechanics bosses that many players hadn't seen before but they had been present in the game for a long time. Lots of people seem to be expecting

something on that scale for 3.25, and while I might be hyp up Path of Exile 2 quite a bit, and I think it's Justified. I think a lot of the people who are hyping themselves up about 3.25 might be setting themselves up for disappointment. Now I am on the bandwagon for melee Buffs if you've been seeing the teasers. There's obviously something melee happening this league. All the teasers besides the very first one have had a melee-based character, and they've been showcasing ancestral totems falling on their butts in every single teaser. That's hinting toward a change actually happening for melee and the need for ancestral totems on every single melee build. That's compelling. I'm very excited about that, but all these people who are saying this is going to be a massive expansion the likes we've not seen since 3.17. I don't know. We might need to chill out. There might be a lot of good changes. We've already seen a huge batch of them.

going back to Prior League mechanics adding new rewards restructuring the league tanks themselves like changing Similac rooms 30 waves to 15 like giving a new oil to blight the Prismatic oil that gives you access to new secret Keystone passes that's awesome there might be more incoming for other leagues however besides that and the settlers of calgar mechanic I don't think there will be much else balance Settlers of calgar and then the changes the prior leagues I don't think that there's going to be a massive Atlas expansion here I really don't maybe I'm setting you all up for a huge hype moment on Thursday when they actually do introduce Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of calgar and Escape From The Atlas because for years I will not lie well not years well about a year two expansions I think Crucible and trial of the ancestors I pitched as being large Atlas expansions that's what I really thought because they would be following that leadup that we were seeing

conquerors to Maven to eer and exarc 3.21 should have been that big expansion. It wasn't, so I thought, okay, it's going to be trial of the ancestors. It wasn't. Now, I don't think it's going to happen, guys. I don't think there's going to be a big Atlas expansion for quite some time. A lot of people are saying, hey, this is going to be the final real expansion before pe2 early access launches, because that should be coming out right around the next League launch tape in November in December. I'm not too sure about that. I think maybe they'll just do a nice media expansion with a league and balance and then save that big Atlas expansion for the first update after Path of Exile 2's Early Access to bring more people back to pee1, to sell more supporter packs, to get those player numbers up, to Showcase that they are not done with Path of Exile 1 just because Path of Exile too their new shiny toy, their beautiful child is now out.

actually think they're going to save that Atlas expansion for post pee2 launch. I'm at and I I'm I'm in combat with a lot of people in my comments you know because they do think it's going to be a big P1 expansion to do with the atlas. I don't think it will be but what will it truly entail what will GGG live reveal well I think Settlers of kar is going to be a tasty one because I do think while this won't be an atlas expansion. I think it will be a longer expansion than usual meaning it's not going to be a three-month League. It's not going to be a 4mon league. I think it might be a five or six Monon league and we might get the next PATH of exile1 expansion in late December or January of 2025 because when path of xile 2 launches guys. The Early Access grinding your games is going to be all Hands-On deck trying to make sure that game is as polished and bug free as possible.

you know once people are on those servers, they're playing all the classes. They're a monk that's shifting into a bear, and they're a witch that's wielding a machine gun. I mean, crossbow. There's going to be bugs galore, so they're not going to want to split their focus right at the outset between PeeWee One and Pee2. They're going to want to focus solely on Pee2, and then once that's in a good spot, they're going to release that expansion that a few people have been churning away at in the background, the big next patch for Path of Exile 1, an Atlas expansion in January of 2025. I could be totally wrong here. I've been wrong before, obviously. I thought Path of Exile 2 was going to release in 2023. I was wrong on that one, but a lot of other creators were as well. So those are my thoughts on what's going to happen with G Live, which I will be live streaming here on this YouTube channel.
