Kind of funny. It happens though. Why so empty? Because it's rain. It was raining earlier today, so it hasn't rained since I got here. I got here a few hours ago. So, but it's cold. cold out here, but everything is open. But yeah, everyone's kind of staying home. Everyone thinks it's going to rain. It's not gonna rain anymore today. But you know how it is. It's a kind of day for the seagulls to chill, huh? Yes, if there is an event at the our clothes right now, some kind of a kind of wig that you got to wear, white kind of music festival to playing lots of soca music in there, lots of Caribbean music going on today at the art walls. But here's your beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Even on a crappy day like this, it's still a beautiful sight. And there's the right day. That was a right. There's a red that was malfunctioning right over there. So you're supposed to spin those people in the air like that. Let's go stop. So welcome to Coney Island. We're going to hop on the Wonder Wheel right now, and we'll take a ride on her for her 97th birthday today. In 1920, the Wonder Wheel officially opens up. We're going to do

swinging cars, of course. It's only, that's the only way I could ride, but the red flags are out, red beach flags are out. Good afternoon, Torrey, good to see ya. No, ya, they didn't get big, didn't get upside-down, didn't get stuck upside-down, but they kind of flapped around a little uncomfortably, if you will. So, it was a little weird, but we caught that off, we caught it on the pro, we caught it on YouTube. But it's one of those days when you just chill out, you know, you either at home. I know a lot of you all at home, hopefully everyone's having a great Memorial Day, nice relaxed, chilled with your family, with your friends, even if you're alone. Hopefully, you're having a great Memorial Day. But the seagulls, me, the seagulls out here chillin', chillin', right, guys? The red flag means that the beach is closed. So, when you see a red flag like that, the beach is closed. So, the lifeguards hopped off duty about an hour ago.

I know the picture though, right? Exactly, sorry, periscope. Yet, a lack of guards are off duty at six o'clock. Six o'clock to go off duty, but just me and the seagulls. This seagull is eating like a no. Nothing's closed yet. Everything's gonna be closing in about an hour. He's like a piece of garbage. Don't eat the garbage, seagull. Don't eat the garbage. Anyway, but all the rides are open. Everything is scheduled to stay open until like nine o'clock. So, I highly doubt devar dude everything is going to stay open till nine o'clock. But there's really very few people out here, but it's nice for me because I get to ride all the rides and not wait in line. So, let's do it, people. Let's hop them in the Wonder Wheel. Seven years ago, Luna Park Central News was International, and Zamperla came in and revived, to say the least, our beautiful Coney Island. So, I have to

thank the folks over at Zamperla and Central Amusements International for creating Luna Park here in Coney Island. The new Luna Park, of course, here in Coney Island, but Luna Park turned seven years old. But the Wonder Wheel turns 97 years old in a couple of weeks. The Cyclone will officially turn 90 years old also. But today in 1920, Memorial Day, the Wonder Wheel officially opens up four hundred thousand pounds of Bethlehem Steel. I'd say that, but you feel the wind. You definitely feel the wind up here. So we will do two rotations on the Wonder Wheel. But where I'm standing right now, where I'm walked right now, is where the original Feldman's used to be. This is where we invented the hotdog in 1867. Here's the original Feldman's, Vizia, original Kaufman's, right? They're kind of amazing, right? There is where we're actually right there. If we were standing in the picture, we're standing

right there and then. Here's what Surf Avenue used to look like. So that's Luna Park, the original Luna Park on that side. And then down in that direction would be the stadium. Tilt means is right there. Something's actually at one point the world's largest restaurant. And then here's the beautiful gardens that used to be inside a Feltman. They used to sit down, have yourself a little, you know, have yourself a beer, have yourself a hot dog, red-hot if you will. But this is what Feltman is used to look like, kind of amazing. They had a beautiful carousel here, a beautiful double-deck carousel here back in the day also. But now you get Feltman here and one apart, and it's really good. I highly recommend it. It's actually cheaper than Nathan's, and it's better than Nathan's. How funny is that? But there we have it, ladies and gentlemen, another quick tour around Coney Island. Oh yeah, they preserved the history here pretty good actually. Sorry, I'm looking for that sign. There's a really

cool sign. So right here, this right here, this is a trolley. That's what that you see before the trolley that used to run along here. And somebody put a sign up on there. Let me show you the side. There it is. Celebrate the hotdogs anniversary. Coney Island is fun 150 and under for the years of the hotdogs 1867 to 2017.
