the cancers out there that will stop stop this from happening: stress, depression, and not believing in what you are, your confidence. Those three things will destroy any dream. Depression is like a wildfire; once it comes inside, it just grows forever, guys. Uncurable by more depression. You can't put those fires out with more depression. And oh, by the way, the path of depression has met with hundreds of people that will support that depression. So yeah, man, I'm depressed too, man. Yeah, it's okay, you know. I know how it is. And they sit around and they [ __ ] about their lives, and somehow they find some contentment because they're not the only one. Well, the path of success is very lonely. Very few people are down that path. Only you and your belief and your confidence can make that journey. Along the way, you're going to meet a lot of people. They're going to give you wrong advice. They're not going to want you to succeed because in your success, it's a shining star of their failure, and they don't want that.

but they don't want to get off the couch and make it happen either. They just want to keep on accepting the welfare check, and the welfare check, guys, isn't an actual government check coming to you. It's a metaphor for not having passion behind what you're doing in life, giving up on life, accepting the current situation as the best it can be. The stress, guys, is like a machine with the nuts and bolts too tight and not oiled right. It will break itself down; it can't keep functioning. When you loosen up the bolts, oil it, it's lubricated, it works wonderfully. A golf swing, my dad always says, a metaphor of life, and if he's watching this, he's probably laughing right now. If you grab that club too tight, the amount of club head speed is reduced. If you loosen up your grip in life, guys, you can generate faster club head speed, creating greater velocity on the ball, greater distance of success, and the shot in your life and what you're going for. stressed out like I was in 2009 with all these taxpayers and everybody calling in and the bill collectors and then mortgage payments and then all these other things and you know electricity bills and they're gonna shut this power off so there's a oh my god what am I gonna do uh hanging on by a thread hanging on my thread test it to the ultimate degree I stayed alive I kept fighting I look back on that hour now as my finest if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be the person I am now.
