the best way to transcend the resistance and suffering in life is to stop living for you. And no, I don't mean joining my cult, though that's an option. Becoming a Living Sacrifice is the foundational secret of every religion and spiritual philosophy. It is the mythical ideal planted so deeply into life itself, even the most cunning of thinkers like Nietzsche couldn't avoid it. Man needs to live in service to some higher Destiny, calling, or God if he wants to become his strongest form. Essentially, this means becoming a Living Sacrifice, and this is what the ideal of the Ubermensch or Christ or Buddha represents: giving oneself up to something higher. Jesus, for instance, became a vehicle for Christ or God, however you want to look at it. In John 14:11, Jesus said, Believe me, I am in the father, and the father in me. This is what I would call the Sun State, where your being is animated by some higher source of light. My friends, this is my coming out, so to speak. I believe in the ancient religion.

of the sun. It's Universal and underlies all true spirituality. Strict nans and strict Christians are going to hate me, but I think any Dogma is simply a coloring of the truth. Christ represented the solar ideal. He was a man possessed by God, but others have become avatars for something higher as well: Buddha, Pythagoras, Muhammad, Socrates, Goethe, and even Alexander the Great were all possessed by something higher. They were possessed by an ideal or a great spiritual force, and they lived in service to this ideal. We all long for this, my friends. We want to give ourselves wholly to something greater, to become something greater. It is why we love. Love is how we merge with another human being, and for higher men, love is how they merge with dreams and gods. Have you ever wondered why 6 billion Christians and Muslims and Jews are praying for the Messiah's return every single day? How crazy is that? We live in a real-life Dune movie, but the secret is that the Messiah is not a person. It

is a spiritual force that is waiting to animate you, and acting in service to this higher force is the key to Salvation and flourishing. This is the essence of every mystery school and esoteric religious teaching, and in this video, I want to bring this idea down to Earth in a way that can start changing your life. It's time to start living for something greater than yourself, or else the scope of your potential will always be limited and your efforts half-hearted. You see, little Chrisan (that's my name, by the way) - he's like a bug, okay? He's like a worm. He lives for pleasures, avoids pain, he's ruled by past programming, past patterns. He's always in his head about things. He hates making these videos and writing all these scripts, and he lives self-centered, small-minded, meaning he's easily swayed by doubts, by fears, by resistances. He's not convicted. Higher Chrisan, higher Chrisan likes to laugh. He shows up at the plate with his best self, and he doesn't live for him.

lives for something greater. He becomes a vehicle for a higher energy, and in that way, strength replaces weakness. He lives not for comfort, but for victory. We all have these two forces vying for actualization in our soul: one wants to be a bug, the other wants to be a hero. And the question is, how often and how well do you transmute the bug into the hero? That is the measure of a man's character, to some degree. Now, here's a secret for you: you can't be a hero all of the time. You'll never fully arrive as your highest version permanently because we live on earth, the place of impermanence, of transition, of change. And there's going to be days where you feel low, where you feel sad, where life hits hard, right? And it'll beat you to your knees permanently if you let it, as Rocky said. So, the goal is not to try to live amongst the stars. The goal is to get good at rising towards the stars every day, to become a rising man. And that is the joy of life.

every great man, from Jesus to Napoleon, was a rising man. Each day, they offered themselves up to something higher and overcame their human frailties. Oddly enough, I find that it is not satisfying my ego, but in sacrificing my ego that I win. In fact, that is what I crave, and I'd wager so do you. To give from the depths of your soul and go beyond yourself, that is the highest joy of life. And for n, that was in fact life's purpose: self-overcoming and the expansion of one's powers. Wait, wait, wait. How is sacrificing yourself the same thing as increasing your power? Well, when I say sacrificing yourself, I mean giving up your weaknesses, your current restricted self, to the gods. And when they devour it, you become something more. As I wrote in my book, All of life is a becoming. I am a becoming. And man feels at his best, most alive when in the full flux of becoming. That is power, whether you know it or not. That is what we all crave.

meaningful existence and goal, and the power to progress into the ideal. Part three: aspiration. So what is this transpersonal ideal? The ideal to me is two-fold, and I encourage you to get really clear on your own version of this. Essentially, the first part is personal excellence. How do I live with the highest strength and harmony, both physically and spiritually? Insert your version of Christ or the Ubermensch here. The second part of the ideal is communal flourishing. How do we build the most magnificent culture and tribe, something we are proud to pass on to our children and future generations? These two things inspire me most. These are the ideals of the wisdom warrior, which I must often remind myself of. And it's why I'm making this video: to remind you and me to aspire. By my love and hope I beseech you: do not throw away the hero in your soul. Keep holy your highest hope and aspiration. To have a spiritual force without great aim and aspiration, we are prone to become weary of life. Suddenly, the

struggle loses its joy and meaning, and this is a great danger to our spirit. When we don't fight for something, we cease to fight altogether while life keeps throwing her punches. This is how you get beat to Hell. Quote: He desires it, he even seeks it out, provided he has shown a meaning for it, a purpose of suffering. The meaninglessness of suffering, not suffering itself, was the curse that lay over mankind so far. Unquote. When we suffer for something greater than ourselves, we don't get so caught up in our own heads and experience. We live beyond ourselves because our petty lives are no longer the focus of our whole existence. Let me repeat that great self-overcoming occurs when our petty lives are no longer the focus of our whole existence, and this is what we should all strive for. But if you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal, then you become something else. [Music] entirely. Part four: Selfless service for all the rising men out there, there's a

lot of resistances weaknesses and fears that afflict us. The way to overcome all of these personal limitations is through heroic aspiration and impersonal action, meaning you remove your ego from the equation. Here's a quote from the Bhagavad Gita that encapsulates this: Therefore, oh Arjuna, surrendering all your Works onto me with mind intent on me and without desire for gain and free from egoism and lethargy, fight. This ancient statement from Krishna represents the warrior's art of selfless service. While convicted by an ideal, there's a holy war going on within you, my friends, between the higher spiritual energy and the forces of resistance and weakness. To win takes courage, vision, and discipline above all. Even writing this tonight at 10:00 p.m., I just wanted to read and relax and take it easy, but a deeper part of me wanted to create. The decision Point came: will I live as my little self and pursue pleasure, or will I become higher Christian? And in this circumstance, I chose to seek the

higher icon of what I could be. What icon are you pursuing, and how can you in some small ways today embody that icon? This is the deepest layer of spirituality and personal development. Heroic and impersonal action, whether that is meditating, creating, training, or serving your family.
