If you clicked on this video, then you clearly 
want to sell digital products, but you're worried   that there's just way too much competition online 
and therefore you have no chance at making sales   as a new seller. I want to start off by saying 
that having some competition is a good thing,   because it's proof that the products you want 
to sell are in demand. But ideally, of course,   if we want to sell on platforms like Etsy, we want 
to target a niche that's not overly saturated, so   that it's easier to rank in search and stand out 
from the competition. So I did some research and   came up with a list of nine digital product 
ideas that are not saturated. I'll also give   you some tips as I share these ideas and show 
you exactly how I found them, so that you can   find even more niches that have low competition.
Although I will be sharing examples that I found   on Etsy, you can sell these products using your 
own website if you prefer that instead. Etsy just

makes it super easy to sell digital products, 
and I personally have experience selling on their platform for the last few years. So let's 
start with digital product idea number one, which is printable flashcards for kids. This would 
be a really fun and, quite honestly, a pretty easy one to create. This is a great educational product 
that teachers would purchase for their classroom or parents would get for their kids. So you 
could design a bundle of flashcards that follow a specific theme like farm animals. I'm seeing are 
trending. This one is a bestseller. Weather cards, different types of fruits, vehicles, and 
so many more great options. I stumbled upon this idea using one of my favorite 
Etsy research tools, Insight Factory.
It is amazing for finding trending products with 
low competition. You can test this tool out for free using the link down below, and once you're 
signed in, you can head over to the dashboard

here. We can go straight into Etsy Trends, which is just right here on the left side, and I can filter for trending products within a specific category. So I can look at trending products within the printables category or another type of digital product like clip art, social media templates, planners. So for this example, I went into the printables category. We can filter even further under printable product types. So I went for activity. An Insight factory will list all the current profitable and trending products within this category. Now, if you choose to sign up for a paid plan, you will have access to their beginner-friendly feature here, which will only list products that have a competition of 2,500 or lower. So when I click on this, I'm seeing many different activity printables for kids that have low competition and a hot sales signal. This is one of my favorite features that Insight Factory

has. It will highly recommend products for you to create based on their analysis of the competition, the demand, and how many sales these products are making. On the first page of Etsy in the last seven days, I noticed different types of flashcards coming up a lot like ABC Bible flashcards, yoga pose flashcards, kids value flashcards. And like I mentioned, these are pretty easy to make. You can find beautiful graphics and fonts for your flashcards using Creative Fabrica, which is what I personally use for all my printables. It offers a huge variety of graphics and fonts, which you can purchase a commercial license to. Their subscription is super affordable compared to other similar websites. So just as an example, I'll search for farm animals in the search bar to find a bundle

that I can download for a set of printable flashcards. And as part of my subscription, I have access to all of these bundles that I can download and use in my own digital products. So I like this set here. I can download it to my computer and play around with the clip bar to design my own printables. Creative Fabrica also has a new studio feature that you can test out for free. Just go into Studio, Explore Studio, click on start designing, and then you can add a new design on the top right here. Choose the size of your art board and start playing around with different designs for your printables. This comes for free with your subscription so you don't have to pay extra to use this. It's super easy to use as well. They have a library of more elements and graphics that you can use in your prints. So it's definitely worth testing out. I found product idea number

two in Insight Factory by going into the digital products category this time and selecting planners. You can choose whichever sub-niche you're interested in. For this example, I decided to go for the financial category. And to reduce the competition further, I selected the beginner-friendly option again. And noticed that budget worksheets were coming up a lot, which is the second idea on this list. This product is obviously great for families, couples, business owners, and pretty much anyone that wants to map out their finances and get their spending under control. I'm seeing budget planners in Excel, monthly Budget Planner Google Sheets, and actually if I click on one of these, it will take me to the Etsy research feature in Insight Factory, which will give me so much valuable information on this product. So it is now giving me a list of popular budget worksheet listings on Etsy. This listing, for example, has made over 60 sales in the last seven days, which is amazing. The last

sale was made today, and you can also see the 
tags that this listing is using. You can copy   the tags and use it for your own listing, or you 
can select copy best-selling tags at the top here,   which will compile the top 13 tags based on the 
bestsellers under this keyword. Now this product   does require some skill on your end because you 
will need to learn how to use Google Sheets and   make the Excel spreadsheets customizable 
and easy to use. When I did my research,   I noticed that the best sellers are offering 
step-by-step on how to use their spreadsheets,   and therefore making it super beginner-friendly. 
And that's what many customers are appreciating   the most based on their positive reviews.
All right, switching gears a little for   product idea number three. I decided to go 
back into the printables category and went   under games this time. I decided to select trivia 
to see what comes up, and I found wedding Table.

games come up a few times, which I think is super 
interesting. Brides and grooms are always looking for ways to keep their guests entertained 
during their wedding reception, and including games on the tables is super clever. If you've 
been following my channel for some time, you might know that I started my Etsy journey selling 
wedding stationery like invitations, menus, seating charts, and table numbers, for example.
The wedding industry is incredibly competitive on Etsy, but I have noticed a few gaps in the 
market, and I love the idea of icebreaker wedding table games and activities for the guests 
to partake in during the reception. Now, based on my research on Etsy, I noticed that some 
bestsellers offer these printables as templates, which are super easy to create and share in Canva. 
You can either offer a bundle of customizable wedding games, or you can create a wedding program 
template that includes a couple of games to play.

I have a tutorial on my channel on how to create 
and sell Canva templates, which I will link   for you down below. But basically, once you've 
designed your wedding games, you would just share   the link to your file with your customers so that 
they can access and personalize the template.
  Product idea number four is another pretty 
simple one to create, and it's moving   checklists. I found this one under digital 
checklists in the digital products category,   and I noticed that the sales signal for these 
products are very hot because many listings   are making sales on the first page of Etsy and 
the competition is very low. Now, to be clear,   although Insight Factory is based on Etsy trends, 
that doesn't mean that the products we're talking   about in this video will not stand the test of 
time. I've made sure that these products have   been selling all year round, and customers are 
leaving reviews during different times of the

year, and I've personally been selling printable planners and checklists on Etsy for a couple of years. I've noticed that when my planners target a specific purpose, they tend to make more sales. So for example, my self-care planners and habit trackers have been more successful than my generic daily and weekly to-do lists. So it's not surprising to me that something so specific as a move-in and out checklist is profitable. You can easily make these in any graphic design software of your choice, whether it's Canva, Kittle, or even a Creative Fabrica studio, and offer it as a downloadable PDF file that your customers can then print out at home. For product idea number five, I decided to go into the Trends Explorer feature in Insight Factory and click on business niche. And because I know templates are super profitable on Etsy because Etsy customers love items that they can customize, I scrolled down to templates and decided to select

template book for this one. And I found quite a few recommendations for Airbnb welcome books, which is the fifth product idea on my list. Airbnb and Short-term rental hosts are always looking for ways to leave a lasting impression on their guests in order to hopefully receive positive reviews and return guests. Offering a welcome book is a great way to do just that. And by creating a template book for them, you're saving them a lot of time and stress. They're running a short-term rental business and they're looking for ways to save time. Your template book can include sections like house rules, Wi-Fi information, things to do, places to see and eat. And to get inspiration on what else to include, just search Airbnb welcome book on Etsy and click on some of the top sellers on the first page. Open up their description and see what they're including in their welcome book to get some ideas. And here's another pro tip for you. This product

may seem like it will take some time to create, 
but once you've designed one full book template, you can just change up the color scheme and maybe 
a couple of small details, and you'll have a whole new product to offer. Take this shop, for example, 
which is offering this 20-plus page welcome book in a blue color scheme, and then also offering 
this listing with the exact same page templates, but in a more neutral color scheme. Next, 
I wanted to explore profitable coloring pages. So we can click on printables over 
here or printables under trends explorer. It will take us to the same section.
Scroll down to coloring and click on pages. And one of the most popular products I 
found are teacher appreciation coloring pages, which is product idea number six. So not only are 
these a little easier to create than some other ideas on this list, but you can literally offer 
one printable page per listing and will therefore

allow you to create multiple listings fairly 
quickly. When I researched this product on Etsy,   most of the best sellers on the first page offer 
only one or two printable pages. These cute and   thoughtful coloring pages are perfect for busy 
moms to purchase for their kids and print out   at home. You don't even have to over-complicate 
your designs. You can simply mix in text and some   graphics from Creative Fabrica to create your 
own unique printable coloring pages for Teacher   Appreciation Week. And like I mentioned before, if 
you're already subscribed to Creative Fabrica and   you're grabbing your graphics from there, you can 
utilize their studio to create your coloring pages   directly on there and download them as a PDF 
or a JPEG file to offer to your customers.
  I stumbled upon product idea number seven after 
one of my best friends, who's currently pregnant,   purchase this from an Etsy seller, and then 
I also found it trending on Insight Factory.

So under digital products, I decided to click 
on Baby Shower to see what products pop up. I filtered it further for announcement, and I got 
an overwhelming amount of recommendations for pregnancy announcement mockups. They look like 
these beautifully photographed flat lace setups where the customer can purchase as a template and 
personalize the text in the image. So this would of course be perfect for pregnant couples that 
want to announce their baby in a beautiful way, but they don't really have photography skills 
and don't want to spend a lot of money hiring a photographer to create an image like this for 
social media. So whether you have photography skills or you're passionate about it and 
you're willing to learn, you can have a lot of fun creating flat lace setups like this with 
different items and upload them to a template sharing platform like Templett or Corjl.
These are the platforms I see being used the most by the top Etsy sellers for these 
products. If you use a platform like Templett,

you can actually allow your customers to test out your template first before they purchase it. It will just have a watermark on it until they buy it from you. And once you get a good handle on creating a beautiful flat lay with the positioning and the lighting, you can easily swap out items here and there to create multiple different mockups to upload to your store. Back to the business niches for the next product. I scrolled down to the social media section this time and selected content calendars, specifically Google Sheets content calendars showed up multiple times as a product that is highly searched and continuously purchased, with lower competition than many other digital products. And so it's product idea number eight. Whether you're already skilled in Excel or you're committed to learning it, if you're planning to also sell budget spreadsheets or something similar, this product is perfect to offer to your customers. Many content creators like myself need an organized content calendar to keep us focused.

consistent with our content and ensure that we 
meet important deadlines. Purchasing a content   calendar spreadsheet saves us a lot of 
time because all we have to do is just   swap out the information for our own. It's 
already laid out perfectly for us. Similar   to the budget spreadsheets, it would be ideal to 
include instructions as part of your listing for   how to use your spreadsheets. To be even more 
competitive and target specific niches, you can   create content calendars for different types of 
content creators rather than just one generic one,   like a blog content creator, podcast, content 
creator, a content calendar for a hair stylist,   and any others that you see performing well on 
Etsy. They're not very different from each other.   Once you've created a really good template, you 
can just change a few of the items here and there   to suit a different content creator and you'll 
have multiple listings ready to go in your store.

This brings us to digital product idea number nine, which I thought was another super fun one. I found this under party supplies in the Insight Factory Trends Explorer. I scrolled down to product types and selected itinerary to see what's trending. And different styles of bachelorette itinerary templates were up like martini bachelorette itinerary, Western bachelorette itinerary, camp bachelorette itinerary, and so many more. And of course, this wouldn't just be a trending product currently. This would be a product that is purchased all year round because bachelorette parties happen all year round. This is a great product that bridesmaids would love to purchase to help them create a fun set of activities for the day or weekend that they're hosting the bachelorette party for the bride to be. When I searched for this item on Etsy, I saw a few bestsellers on the first page that are super cute and easy to create using template.

platforms like Canva, Templett, or Corjl. And my pro tip for this one is to either purchase eye-catching mock-up images to showcase your itinerary, or of course, if you want to print them out yourself and photograph them for your Etsy listing images, that's also an option too. You can find beautiful mock-ups for your itineraries on Creative Fabrica. Just search card mock-up and browse through to find ones that suit the aesthetic of your itinerary templates. If you have Photoshop, I recommend downloading mock-ups that offer PSD files with smart object layers so that your photos can look more realistic. Here's an example of what I mean.
