that's right. The entire Bitcoin hype machine is talking about it. What am I referring to? Well, I'll give, I'll drop some clues. We saw the vague tweet. We saw the cookie monster tweet. And then subsequent Michael Saylor retweet. What am I talking about? Does Michael Dell own any actual Bitcoin? Is he a Bitcoin bull right now? Now, is there any evidence, right, that Dell computers is going to be using the MicroStrategy playbook of buying and accumulating Bitcoin on their balance sheet? Well, the influencers would have you believe. Yep, this is pretty much a done deal. Is it really? [Music] Though welcome back everyone. That's right, the channel. That is not just a cheerleader for everything Bitcoin. We try to find out what is the reality of things, right. We are bullish. We love Bitcoin, but we also don't want to dupe ourselves so that we don't wreck ourselves. Anyways, anyways, it all started with a tweet, right, the scarcity creates value tweet. And then of course fellow Bitcoiners right like Walker America uh

he comes in and provides a comment. This is a Bitcoin tweet, right? About these three words. Somehow, these three words equal Michael Dell is buying Bitcoin. And I mean that, that's fine, right? It's good to hype it up. And of course, what did he do? He screenshotted the original tweet of Dell accepting Bitcoin. Now, of course, this created the initial tweet from Michael Dell, created a huge, huge storm of possibilities, right? Michael Dell's a multi-billionaire. He's got over 105 billion dollars. I mean, he can afford to buy some Bitcoin, right? Dell themselves is sitting on a pile of cash, and investors, for the most part, right? Investors don't really like it when businesses sit on cash. It means that they're not finding ways of growing their possible earnings and their business by using that cash as a vehicle. So the stars are aligned. Dell is going to start putting Bitcoin on their balance sheets. So, for the people who don't know the story of Michael Dell and Bitcoin, um, here we go. Let's just do a

quick recap back in 2014. You can see here Michael Dell posted this tweet. Dell now accepts Bitcoin. More information about that today's announcement. And that was 2014. A few short years later Dell stopped accepting Bitcoin back in 2017 due to insufficient demand because like Dell learned like many other uh Bitcoin type of businesses have learned it's that the current use case for Bitcoin the most popular use case for Bitcoin arguably is to buy hold and accumulate Bitcoin in self custody right now. Now of course that's not to say that this doesn't change at some point in the future but right now this appears to be the strongest narrative going so to No Surprise right Dell stopped accepting Bitcoin but back in the day that was a great source of hopium. Let's also take a look at what other things Michael Dell was saying about Bitcoin back in 2021 because this article is from 2021. Michael Dell the founder and CEO of Dell Technologies is not buying into the Bitcoin craze. He said he was going to

passed on the oldest and biggest cryptocurrency. Yet, he believes that blockchain, the technology at the core of Bitcoin, that sounds familiar, right? It's all about the blockchain tech, not Bitcoin. And of course, right? It's just because these people quickly realize that they can just make their own token. I think blockchain is probably underrated. Bitcoin, I'm going to pass on that. I don't really know. This is what Michael Dell said. Ironically, Dell became one of the first major companies to start accepting Bitcoin for its products all the way back in July 2014. As we just showed in February 2015, it expanded the new payment options internationally. And then in October 2017, 17th with we just showed they stopped supporting Bitcoin for payments. Now that has nothing to do with the current possible hype of Michael Dell either buying Bitcoin to do the Michael sailor Playbook or possibly buying it personally. We're just, I'm just showing you some historical reference for what his relationship has been to Bitcoin thus far. So we fast forward to

today right where does this where does this all come from where does this all come from well it all Believe It or Not besides Michael Dell's tweets this is also something that's being used to help propagate the idea that he's about to get involved in Bitcoin in a major way Dell's recent Financial moves provide a strong backdrop for the potential investment into Bitcoin in the past 18 months alone the company's Class C common stock has surged from 4 to $145 per share okay so look it's not unusual for CEOs to sell portions of their share allocations number one number two okay this is essentially where this he's going to buy Bitcoin hype is coming from the hype that we are hearing is is that he sold those shares in preparation to buy Bitcoin that may be true but but in all fairness there is absolutely no indication of that anywhere Michael Dell has cashed out $2.1 billion while retaining 58% of the company's ownership so if you just pay attention to that

this this $2.1 billion that he cashed out. This was a drop in the bucket for him. Okay, he has Access Capital available to deploy into the Bitcoin Market, particularly against the backdrop of rising US debt, and you could see the author of this article understands the Bitcoin narrative and bitcoiners love, right? We love when we hear that hey, the money print thing is never-ending, the purchasing power of the dollar is constantly going down, and we know that Bitcoin is not a melting Ice Cube like fiat currency. So again, right, more narrative support. He is going to be buying Bitcoin. The icing on the cake, they're sitting on 5.83 billion in cash. That's right, Dell Corporation sits on 5.83 billion in cash. So if Dell Technologies allocates 1%, just 1% guys, of its 5.83 billion cash reserves to bitcoin, amounting to 58.3 million, it could potentially see the investment grow to $18.7 million in just one year based on

Bitcoin's historical annualized returns of approximately 13.5% over the past decade. Sailor MicroStrategy boasts a staggering profit of approximately 6.33 billion from its strategic BTC acquisitions in recent years. So, it's no surprise we're being sold the Michael Dell hopium. Okay, we are being sold this hopium now. Um, let's get down to what information actually exists. Okay, there is absolutely nothing right now that shows that Michael Dell is actually either going to purchase Bitcoin personally or do the Michael Sailor playbook for the Dell Corporation. Now, I don't have an issue with companies doing this. I really don't. Um, what I'm trying to do is draw attention to the fact that this type of news is really just hopium with absolutely no substance to it. Okay, it's meant to essentially just conjure up excitement. And of course, right, I'm a Bitcoin-only channel, so I should be using this, you know, this type of information to sit there and tell you that hey, we're going to $10 million.

mean, take a look at this. Michael Dell's buying some, yeah, you know what though, um, when you set incorrect expectations, the people that choose to listen to you, they're the ones that end up getting burnt by them, right? So for me, I'd rather take the measured approach of, we can see that there is more and more discussion around Bitcoin, we can see that there's more and more adoption, but what we don't want to do is hoist every single billionaire up onto our shoulders as a bunch of heroes that are buying Bitcoin, because these people do not have the exact same incentives as you and me, these people don't have the same timelines as you and me, and guess what, you and me don't have the same timelines, okay? So all of these things need to be considered when you're listening and when you're reading this type of hype, okay? So look, we're all bullish, the bull market's here, okay? A lot of times, most of this news is going to turn out to be nothing burgers.

but if you do your own research into Bitcoin, understand why its qualities are so important, and understand why people would start to accumulate and hold it. All of this news that you see from these hopium dealers is just going to go right off your shoulders, and you're going to be able to just huddle and accumulate and essentially ride out all of these waves and all of this noise.
