If you decided not to hang out with a friend anymore, but then reconciled, you should interact with them again in a friendly manner. Reconciliation means returning to the way things were. In the beginning, we were created in the relationship within God. Humanity was made within the safety of God's relationship. Therefore, our efforts are to return to that relationship. That is true reconciliation - restoring the relationship with God.

Hwahai, so when we live this kind of life, receiving salvation again is a very certain thing. Repentance is not just about knowing God, right? In relationships like that, there are things, you know. For example, if you had a fight with a friend, you know you should reconcile with them, but you don't. There are things like this, right? So, knowing in your head that you should reconcile, but not doing it, right? You know you should resolve it with this person, right? You know you should resolve it, but there is pride and something like, Let's not resolve it. This kind of state is not reconciliation. Let's go back to the past relationship. Let's restore the relationship we cut off and return to that relationship. Going back to such a relationship is reconciliation. My life should continue in reconciliation, living a life that triggers reconciliation. I should live a life turning away from sin, and if I have distanced myself from sin, I should continue to reconcile with God. Ultimately, it's about having a personal relationship with God. Those who have made peace with God no longer stay in death but receive life, knowing the price of sin is death. This verse can be found in Romans 6:23. It says, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Sin leads to death, but a life following God leads to eternal life. We have now received a verdict of innocence from sin. Therefore, we should live this life. However, even if we commit sin and receive a verdict of innocence, we may still be released and able to do wrong again. When we see many news reports and criminals, there are repeat offenders and 17-time offenders.

Even after receiving such a verdict more than ten times and not turning back, continuing to do wrong things and receiving more sentences, that's how one's guilt accumulates. So even though we have received a verdict of innocence, we could still fall back into the path of sin. That's why we must continue to live a life of repentance to God, in order to truly obtain freedom from our sins. Therefore, we must keep moving forward with a reconciling life to gain life, that's what it means to gain life. Just because we have obtained freedom from sin doesn't mean it ends there. Just because we believe in God doesn't mean it ends there. We must continue to believe in God and live a reconciling life. Living a life of reconciling with neighbors, reconciling with God, restoring and reconciling with the world and the environment, participating in a life of reconciliation is participating in life.

Believing in Christ is not the end of believing in God. So if we end here, the possibility of rebuilding this relationship increases. Therefore, believing means that if we do wrong again, it means living. I believe in God, but I want to live according to my desires. Oh, I want to live according to my will rather than God's. How can this be a life of repentance? How can this be a life of eternal life? It means going back to a life of death. One thing, living eternally in me. The second meaning of eternal life is, so, living here on this earth. Living in Christ means no longer needing to follow the culture of this world, no need to be swept away by the world, not living according to the ways of sin, but living as human beings should in following the path of Christ. This can be seen as the kingdom of God. Therefore, relationships are restored, and we live a life of restoring others, the joy of living as a community, freedom from living according to the structures of the world. These are another form of eternal life. Ultimately, if we live extremely according to the ways of the world, we will face a certain death in our lives.

In a way, it seems like emotional death is the biggest thing overall. In the world right now, of course, due to the culture of certain workplaces, there are certainly people who commit suicide or die, but generally, what we experience is emotional death. Somehow, our working hours are long, relationships with people are drying up, becoming more individualistic, egoistic, and selfish, cutting off everything, and eventually turning into a society where everyone is isolated. So, isn't this kind of thing a form of emotional death? Isn't it the path to emotional death? Therefore, what is saved from such a life is eternal life. The cross is a solid proof that God loves us. What we need is to believe in Jesus, the Son of God, who died on the cross for us. So now, you are standing here, and the drunk driver is coming straight at you. At that moment, Jesus says, Be careful, pushes you out of the way, and gets hit by the car instead. He dies. How would you feel now? If someone was about to be hit by a car, but instead of them, someone else got hit and died, how would you feel? But that was intentional. What emotions do you feel? I am so grateful, how can I repay the grace? I should have died in your place, originally I should have been punished and died, but instead, you died in my place.
