The pursuit continued Westbound at speeds mostly around 70 mph. Johnson County dispatch advised that they had a Coal Hill PD unit with spike strips set up. Cole Hill successfully spiked the front driver-side tire. The suspect's swerving caused the trailer to lose some of its cargo. The suspect continued for approximately two more miles before the

vehicle that was stopped in the middle of the road. When officers arrived at the scene, they encountered a racetrack employee who informed them that the driver in question was parked in the middle of the road and unresponsive. The officers proceeded to make contact with the driver, who claimed to be a firefighter and stated that she does not consume alcohol. Need EMS at all, huh? Do you need EMS to check you out?
