Hello everyone, so today's video is going to be yet another one about my Casio F91W. Uh, here I'm actually going to do things a little differently. I'm going to actually show you how to access some of the functions of the watch and how to do basic things like

changing the time, setting the date, etc. I know all this tends to be covered in the user manual that you get when you buy the watch, but let's be honest, who actually reads that? I know that when I first got my watch, I ended up tossing out the user manual and

just tried to figure things out by myself. This watch is pretty simple to use. There aren't really that many functions anyway, so, and it's going to be pretty simple for you to follow along anyway. Uh, first I actually want to cover uh the buttons on this watch, so there's three

different buttons here. So the button on the bottom right is called A, okay. The button on the bottom left is called C for some reason, and the button on the top left is called L. Now why Casio chose to name them this way is beyond me, but that's how it is in the

manual, so that's the kind of convention we'll use, so A, C, and L. All right, so let's get started. So firstly, right at the home screen here, as you can see, I have a 12-hour time and it says AM. You have the day of the week and

the date on the upper right. So the first thing we'll cover is how to change between 24-hour time and 12-hour time. This is really easy. Just press the bottom right button, which is also called A, and there you go. Now you see the

indicators change to 24 hours and now it's showing you 24-hour time. If you want to toggle back, just one press of the button and there you go. The button on the bottom left, C, is what you would use to cycle through all the

different modes. Now if you want to change the time, you need to press button C, which is a button on the bottom left, three times, so one, two, three, and you'll see you have a screen here with the blinking seconds. So to reset the seconds, just press the

bottom right button A, and there you go, the seconds have been reset. Now if you want to modify the hour, you press L, so, and you can see the hours are, the hour is blinking. So now that you're there, you can use A to set the hour, so

press A and it's going to cycle through. Pressing L again and it takes you to minutes, and now you can change that with the A button as well. Now after you finish setting the minutes, uh, simply press L one more time and it takes you to this

screen here, and that's that one there represents the month. So obviously, this is January, so it's why the one is blinking, and to set the month, you use A, so cycle through all the months here and back in January. And uh, setting the day, you press L again, and

you see the upper right-hand corner, that number is flashing, and that's the day of the month. So let's just make that something incorrect, so make that the eighth. Move time forward, and again, if now you want to change the day of the week, you press

Let's do that one more time. It highlights Wednesday. Let's press 'A' again and make that Thursday. Now, once you're done with that, you can just press 'C' one more time, and it takes you right back to the home screen. Now, let's talk about how to set the alarm.

So from the home screen, just press 'C' one time, and it takes you to Alarm. Now, there are a few different things here. So the upper left, uh, take a look and see what icons you have there. So in my case, since there are no icons, that means the alarm is off, and the

hourly signal is off. And the hourly signal is that little beep that you get every, every hour. If you see an audio wave icon at the top left, that means that the alarm is on and the hourly signal is off. If you see an audio wave icon and a bell

icon, that means the alarm is on and the hourly signal is on. And if you just see the bell icon, obviously it means just the chime is on, and there's no alarm set. From this alarm screen, let's say you first want to test

the alarm tone. Press and hold 'A' for two seconds, and now that's what the alarm sounds like. And obviously, once you press it once, or if you press and hold it now, it automatically turns on the alarm, as you can see the wave icon is there in

the upper left. If you press it one more time, it turns off the alarm but turns on the bell, which is the chime every hour. You press it one more time, it turns on both the alarm and the hourly chime. And of course, if you press it one more

time after that it just turns everything off so now let's say you want to set an alarm right so first press A once and you get until you get that wave icon on the alarm screen press L and as you can see that's highlighted the hour

and from here you can just press A to adjust the hour and then you press L again it takes you to the minutes and now you can adjust the minutes for the alarm and then press L again to stop the blinking and that means the alarm is set

now in my case I don't want the alarm on tomorrow at 6:05 so I'm just going to go ahead and turn it off there you go alarm is off now we're back at the home screen and if you want to go to the stopwatch

press C and keep pressing C until you see the ST here and that's your stopwatch so what you would do to start the stopwatch is press A and you can press A again to stop the stopwatch and then press L when you need to reset it now let's say you want to record the

lap time so in this case what you do is first press A to start the stopwatch and press L once and it stores the lap time and the stopwatch freezes the recorded time but it's still running in the background because it's still taking the time for the second lap and

then you press L again to go back to the stopwatch as you can see the time has kept on running in the stopwatch and then from this point again you can press A to stop and you can press L to reset everything back to zero let's say you want to time a run and you

want to measure who's first and who's second so you would press a to start the stopwatch first and then when you want to record the first runner's time you press l and when you want to record the second runner's time you press a

and then after that what's on the display is the first runner's time and then you press l to see the second runner's time and then you press l again to reset to zero so yeah guys i think i covered all the basics here you know i did get a lot of inspiration
