welcome back you filthy Exiles. So last night on stream, we decided to cook something up pretty cool. So in this case, this is a gladiator Thunder of Earth breaking face bring Gladiator. Anyway, basically, yeah, this build is another face Breer build. Everybody's so interested in bleed that they're sort of under calculating what the value of the value of the Gladiator actually is. The other thing here, like we don't have t in the build either, but if you were to stand next to an enemy next to you know for 100 seconds based on the ascendancy, you go up to 47 million DPS on your single hit slams. And that's coming from the war of attrition node on the Gladiator. Again, we're using Lucky Block as well more than skill. This is just an absolutely disgusting amount of Defense here. Like we still would have to get alment immunity, but we cap out here. Now you could go and Tinker with this and you could take this off. You still got 174 effective hit pull.

so do with that what you will, but basically, yeah, this is like a super tanky Max block slam face breaker Gladiator, and it's really cool. So anyway, let's talk about the build and uh give you a bit bit of an idea again like the last video. And I know we have a running joke now, don't play this on League start, but if you were going to play this on League start, you could use something like Laos day, which is a shield, which basically would give you 165k effective hit pull and actually 191k effective hit pull. 165 effective hit pull if you didn't account for the block. And the reason why is it would remove your need to actually have to um worry about stacking accuracy on the build, cuz that's one of the biggest challenges challenges we ran into. Now the surrender at this stage is pretty much the best shield, and the reason being is like now the the Reckoning has been removed from it, but you still get tons of life recovery. It just keeps you alive.

you're always going to be blocking with the Gladiator now, so it's a huge damage buff, and it's also a fantastic source of survivability for the Gladiator to just face tank stuff and then slam away. I don't know how this build would play, and also there's some stuff in this build that's quite expensive. Actually, there's only like a couple things that would be like super expensive, like the forbidden flesh, uh, Master metal, which gives you basically half of your damage. But, uh, if you so chose to switch to standard Sunder as well, so if you just put on stand Sunday, your DPS goes up to like 27 million, um, 28.3 mil if you're at level 21. So up to you. I just like of Earth breaking because there's less steps involved and it doesn't feel as clunky, but you could change it if you want. Anyway, let's get into the, uh, the breakdown here. This is just Theory crafting, by the way. I haven't played this build, um, but also we fixed the Mana cost issue. It basically

is just a synergistic way of rolling two nodes. So, you just need Spirit of War and a cannibalistic, right? And then you also run Mana Mastery, and we also run Life Mastery here. This is a level 99 tree. Obviously, this is endgame theory crafting, but you could adjust for anything you want in this build to make it better or worse or however you want to do it. Up to you. We are slightly deficient in intelligence, but we can fix that in the app by, like, 21. So, it's not too bad. But yeah, anyway, let's roll through this build, and I'll talk you through the gearing, gems, skills, and the configurations and Po and any other things that you might need to know. Okay, so for gear, we're using the Surrender. We theory crafted it with this shield 'cause it's just the best shield ever. You farm it from Breach. It's just excellent. You could probably run the Anticipation and do really well as well. I did play around with like the Ghastly Theater and

that would work, but you lose a lot of effective hit. Pull this just gives you insane amounts of block. I would say, The Shield is going to be very expensive this league. So, for those people playing breach, stack up your surrenders because they're going to be worth something. I might even play breach this league, but we'll see how we go. Uh, next is abyssus. The reason why this is so good, it's a face breaker build, gives you flat physical damage. It also gives you crit multiplier. Fizz damage doesn't matter if you block all the time, so it's not a huge issue. I will note someone pointed this out. My maximum Fizz hit is low, but my effective hit pull is extremely high because there is a pretty high probability, like a 1 out of 10, n out of 10 chance that I'm going to block any spell or block that's going to come my way. So, I'd consider that's pretty tanky, and that's why I'm pretty confident with this. So, that's why we run abyssus in.

these setups. Now, this is a corrupted Abyssus with plus two to AOE gems, which gives us a lot more damage. But this is like assuming like you throttle the build as far as you could take it, less Mage blood. Uh, now I did just put a crafted chest on. Implicits were the two best things in this crafted chest, and this isn't like the craziest chest either, but Pride and uh and Critical Strike multi were pretty much the best roles on this. But you could play with this if you wanted to, obviously face breaker with attack speed as well just makes it faster, um, but yeah, if you can get 800% roll on this, it's going to be super strong. Uh, Greaves again drops brittle and cool down recovery rate, but you don't need cool down recovery rate. You can do anything else you want. I just got cool down recovery rate because it's going to affect your war cries, and we'll talk about that when we get to the skill tree, but yeah, that's basically it for boots. Uh, ridgewoods curse, we need this.

for the um uh for our uh face breaker build itself. The big thing here is deep breaths uh is the anoint that we use on this. So if we look up deep breaths wherever that is uh there we go. So this is going to allow us to have 35% increased war cry recovery, and the AOE is going to throttle up. This actually gives us an extra 1.264 million DPS, which I'll take that any day. It's not too bad um and then beyond that we've just got two amethyst rings where we stack accuracy flat Fizz damage and chos res rli is coil with implicit crit roll. So uh this was just like the best in socket. I did try things like magnate, but looks like rther coil is going to be where it's at this league. And then we got Diamond flask Lions raw bottled Faith quartz and we have to use bism on this just because sort of struggles a little bit with that, but like if you can balance resistances.

in your gear, that's the preference, so we don't use any other weird or wacky jewels in this setup. We do have Aiden Flesh and Flame with Master of Metal, and the reason why is the impales. So this is an impale configuration for slams, so it hits like a truck. It's crit and pale and just absolutely boom faces things, and that's the idea behind the build. Now Verdian Jewels, literally we're just stacking claw damage and Global accuracy and crit multiplier. Any of these that you get just basically replicate throughout the build. And we do have medium clusters, which are basics of pain and pressure points, and this just gets our crit up, so we're at 100% crit, which is fantastic on a slam build, means every slam is going to be 100% critical and it's going to 100% like a mofo. And then basically our large cluster is Battle Harden, Force multiplier, and Master the fundamentals, which is going to give us double damage, flat fizz, some Elemental resist increased.

armor and doesn't really matter, but increased flat physical damage. But yeah, it's um, there are some things in here that are more expensive. Obviously, things like forbidden flesh and Flame are not earlier on items, nor is bottled Faith. Rus is probably going to be expensive this league and potentially face Breakers. Abyssus and surrender are going to go up in price, but the jewels they shouldn't be too bad to get. That's if face Breakers doesn't take off like nothing else. Anyway, that's it for the gearing. Okay, so for skill setups, we got Su of Earth breaking in the six-link setup on the chest, and then that's just level 21 awaken mely Fizz pulverized imp pal fist of War, 'cause I thought it'd be awesome to run fist of War on a gladiator so you could be like boom, like just absolutely destroy the everything. Um, awaken brutality, then we have flesh and Stone, temper sheet shield, shield, and pride with an enlightened configuration. Then we have

our war cry so battle mage rallying cry and intimidating cry. Battle mages Cry just gives us increased uh flat crit chance. If we take that off we lose not a lot of damage but it's like 1.2 mil. Um everything else is just giving us like uh movement speed U an increased double damage and then just straight up flat damage on exerted attacks. I think this is yeah uh added attack damage. Yeah um assassin's mark on hit. So for when we hit big enemies and when we hit like when we're going through maps and stuff like that. This build should just like clear Maps like an absolute monster. And then we have blood and Sand War Banner. We use basically like if we're using totems now. So we just drop that down so we set in our configuration 50 Banner um uh Val. So if we set it to one we lose damage but basically cranks up it'll crank up to 50 in theory straight away or pretty quickly. So that's not really a big concern. And then we have Immortal

coal and Automation in the build as well, and that shouldn't be too bad because we have a Mana pool of about what's that 99. We leech 107.9 per second or roundabouts or per the leech, whatever the leech rate is, and then we generate 11.7. So we're only casting on our Sund five manacost, uh, and per second overall based on the attack rate 8.1 at 8.1. And then we're basically spending more life, and we have like 272 life generation and a bit of Lee anyway, so we're okay from the survivability standpoint on that front, uh, and then basically this on-kill minion monster explosion is coming from the ascendancy because not only do we do big hits, we also do grild violence and explode enemies, which is going to be disgusting playing an impal slam build that does that, but anyway, it's going to be cool. I, uh, I will probably run this as a third build because I'll really want to play.

the retaliation build and then I will probably play this 'cause this is going to hit like an absolute truck. Anyway, let's talk about the skill tree next. Okay, skill tree wise. So we're going to start at the Gladiator or duelist ascendancy. Obviously, we come down, we're going to get Defiance, we're going to get Art of the Gladiator. We come up, we've got a dual socket here, Unwavering Stand so we can't be stunned. We want Spirit of War with Mana Mastery and reduced Mana cost. Then we come down, we want Eagle Eye and Accuracy Mastery. So this is going to fix a lot of our accuracy problems. More accuracy means we're going to get a guaranteed hit, so we have a chance to hit at 100% right now. And then we get Admonisher. This is going to increase our war cry speed and also going to give us 15% increased damage each time you've used a war cry. Then we come down, Proficiency and Hard Knocks because our character is not very dextrous and he's

a bit of a dummy, uh, then we come down. We get the impale nodes, so Merciless Skewering and Impale Mastery, uh, and also then we move down here. We're going to take the aura champion of the cause nodes, and we're also going to take ORS, have 10% increased effect, uh, then we come up and get dismembering to get us some crit. We get Brutal SC, Skewering, Versatile Combatant. We want all the nodes for Tétudo and Retaliation 'cause this is a Max block build. Shield Mastery, this is going to give us 2% increased attack damage, and this is coming off the, um, the surrender, so this is just a really good damage buffer. Then we come up, we grab, uh, Golem's Blood, and we move up to get our endurance charge and also another Jewel socket in here, uh, and then we come up. We want to get our Bloodless, we want to get Life Mastery, does 15% of Mana cost, uh, we come and get as the mountain as well.

then block Mastery, so we get another plus two maximum spell block. Then we go and get inexorable, and this is when you are hit. Now, I take it as when you block, it counts as when you are hit, but if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. You just take these points out, switch out to something else, and then aggressive Bastion. This is also going to give you 10% chance to gain endurance charges on kill while holding a shield, and an absolute ton of block and damage. Then we get cannibalistic, right? This is going to reduce our Mana cost, pardon me, Mana Mastery as well. This gets us some reservation efficiency. Juggernaut, another duwel socket here, which is where we put our forbidden flame. We also want another endurance charge socket here. Now, you could get rid of this altogether if you need to save on points and pull the build down a little bit. Barbarism, then we come up, we get the crit nodes for disabling and the crit Mastery, which is 25% increased crit.

multiplier. Then we've got a cluster jeel setup in here, which has got our Master the fun fals battle Harden Force multiply pressure points, and then everything else that we need in the build that's in there. Uh, now ascendency wise, basically we're going to go determine Survivor more than skill. We then want to go, uh, either grous violence or War of Attrition, probably War of Attrition, and then, or maybe actually grous violence, then War of Attrition last. And basically the other thing to get your war cry cool down, you use tattoos, and you basically use the, uh, ters War CER, and then just apply that to, and you get like 50 to 60% cool down recovery. So we've got speed, we've got, uh, admonisher, which is war cry war cry speed. We get 50 to 60% there, something like that, and then we get another 35% war cry cool down recovery here. So we got tons of war cry cool down speed, and yeah, it's overall really, really good, um.

and that's basically it for the build as far as the um the skill tree goes. So let's talk about the configuration. Okay, configuration. So, kill all bandits. Always kill all Bandits. Sol anara to Kama. So, if we stand still, we stand still. I don't have anything else on this build for that, but potentially if you ran Nature's patience on this build, I don't know why you would do that, you want to be sort of mobile, but you could if you wanted to. Um, that would increase your damage again. Uh, we do have endurance charges, we do generate power charges. So, we generate power charges from our Assassin's Mark on hit, but probably not against bosses. So, that's going to be distortive. So, we lose a mill right. It's not a big drop off. We got a hypocrite anyway, so let's take that out. Endurance charges, yes, we have tap, we do have, but we don't use it. Onslaught, we can remove that too. Um, can't quite remember where it's coming from, but it is coming from somewhere.

flaster active. Okay, so we had a calculation error there, so it should be no nearby allies. Then we have consecrated grounds. It does drop our damage down, but it's like 17.9 mil. Have you been hit recently? Yes. Have you been have you blocked recently? Yes. War cry's used about three empowered recently? Yes. Maximum effect Pride AA. You could put it on initial effect, but you're most likely going to be at maximum effect. Blood stains and sand stains if you want to switch between the two. And then we have our Banner planted, which gives us 50 Vala. And there's nothing else in here except for brittle ground. This is coming from our boots. Intimidation and crush is coming from our Awakened Jewels. That's our awakened brutality and merely physical damage. And then consecrated ground is coming from our bottled faith. And this is Guardian and Pinnacle boss damage. So if you wanted to see what your DPS is if you're standing near an enemy as you the longer

you're in a fight, the more your DPS rises now as well with the Gladiator. So basically, it'll just keep scaling up as you go, so it's pretty good overall. This build sort of looks like it'll work. I'm not sure how it'll feel, but you know what, time will tell. We'll run at this league and see what they goes. But if you're looking for a face breaker, um, Gladiator, this would be the way to do it. This is not going to be a cheap build initially. This is going to have a bit of cost behind it and, yeah, so just be aware of that. Not a league starter. I say that again, not a league starter. Do not play this at League start. If you play it at League start, it's on you. It's just a really cool concept build and, yeah, okay. So if you looking for a way to play a slam build with face breaker on the Gladiator, this is probably going to be one of the ways to do it, probably one of the most efficient ways to do it, but
