so this keyboard I've been using for the past week might be the best Esports and gaming keyboard of all time. In this video, I'm going to explain to you just why that might be the case. First of all, this begs the question: what was the best Esports and gaming keyboard of all time before this? So, if you have been in tune with the Esports scene for the past 2 years, then I think we can agree that we will all unanimously come to the conclusion that the Wooting 60 H has been by far the best and greatest Esports keyboard of all time. Lots of keyboards have since surfaced the market trying to replicate the success of the Wooting 60 H, but none has been able to dethrone the king in terms of performance and overall quality. We have had plenty of 60% or 75% keyboards with hall effect switches and rapid trigger features, but none, and I mean literally none, have come close to the performance of the Wooting 60 H. But that is going to

change with this keyboard, and this is the ATK RS7 Pro in the summer. So, the ATK RS7 Pro is the newest edition of the hall effect 75% gaming keyboards on the market. But this is not like the other. The ATK RS7 Pro is solely designed and engineered with Esports and performance in mind. The company ATK has recently partnered with Levaton and became their peripheral sponsors, and I believe this is their best product yet. Since this is a gaming keyboard tailored for Esports enthusiasts, let's first talk about the specs. On paper, this keyboard comes in a 75% layout. That means you keep the arrow keys and the function row but lose out on the numpad from a full-size keyboard. Although this is still more keys compared to the Wooting 60H, this keyboard has a surprisingly small footprint compared to the other 75% hall effect gaming keyboards I have tried, and this keyboard only takes up a tiny bit more space than the Wooting 60H. The case dimensions of the RS7 are 32.1 cm.

in length 13.3 cm in width, and the case dimension of the woing 60 H are 30.2 cm in length and 11.4 cm in width. This has been by far the smallest 75% keyboard I have used, and the small footprint made it a very seamless transition from my old stock wooting 6 H. The ATK RS7 also comes equipped with 8,000 HZ pulling compared to only the 1,000 HZ pulling from my woing 60 H. From my pulling rate and in-game testing, I can definitely say the performance is on par with the wiing 60 H, if not a tad bit better. On the ATK website, they claim a 0.3 millisecond latency; however, I don't know the exact testing or the equipment they used to come up with this number. So, when I receive my exet testing kit from woing, I will be able ble to compare the latency from the RS7 and the wooting directly. But for now, after a week of use

I can confidently say this is the closest of any keyboard to the Wooting 60H in terms of pure performance, and I might even say the 8,000 Hz polling on paper gives me that extra confidence over the Wooting 60H while I'm in-game. The keyboard also comes equipped with limited edition Gateron Jade switches. These are magnetic switches with an actuation force of 30g, and they come in pre-lubed, as far as I know. I don't know what makes them limited edition; however, I have very much enjoyed these switches over my Leard L60. So, the Leard L60 switches that come in the stock Wooting 60H have an actuation force of 40g, which makes them 10g heavier than the Gateron JS that come in the RS7. So, these Gateron JS are much easier to spam compared to the Leard L60s; however, that also makes them a bit more sensitive compared to the Leard L60s. So, if you have your actuation point set to a very low number

you might misclick it more often than not, but with my setting of 0.2 MIM on the WD keys and 0.4 mm on all other keys, I have not had any misclick problems while I'm gaming. And with the Jade switches having 10 G of last actuation force, they feel more comfortable to type on and are definitely much easier to spam. However, the actuation distance of the Jade switches is from 0.1 mm to 3.44 mm, compared to the Gatoron L60s 0.1 mm to 4.0 mm. So, the total travel distance of the Jades is 0.6 mm less than the L60s. However, I was not affected by this change because I rarely set any keys to the bottom M actuation distance. Since we talked about the switches, let's talk about the adjustable actuation and the rapid trigger feature of the keyboard. From either the web driver or the downloadable software driver, you can adjust the distance from

the top of the key press that will actuate for every single key on the keyboard. So, the per-key actuation can be adjusted from 0.1 to 3.4 mm. So, the 0.1 would be the most sensitive, and if you just brush over the keys, you probably could get them to register, and 3.4 mm being the least sensitive. And this keyboard, of course, also comes with a per-key rapid trigger feature, and you can adjust the rapid trigger setting in steps of 0.02 mm. However, however, before you go ahead and adjust your actuation and rapid trigger sensitivity, you want to first calibrate the switches, as the magnetic sensor might get disrupted during shipping and causing the key press to be not as accurate. So, you can open the ATK vhub web version and go to the axile alignment and calibrate each key, which is basically pressing down each key from the 0.0 mm down to the bottom, which is 3.4 mm. And after a key is pressed and calibrated, the key color

will turn green, and your key press should be as accurate as possible. I have not had any misclicks since calibrating each key. You can, of course, also adjust dead zones, change your RGB settings, update firmware, and remap different keys using the ATK vhub software. It is very similar to the woing 60 web driver in terms of simplicity and features. Now, let's talk about the most non-Esports and performance-related feature of this keyboard, that being the sound profile and the acoustics. This keyboard actually has three different versions. The one I have here is the RS7 Pro, which is the most expensive version because this version comes equipped with RGB, and it is made out of full aluminum alloy top and bottom case. It also comes with this piece of included crystal weight at the bottom for some extra heftiness and security while gaming. The RS7 Pro feels way more premium in hand compared to the stock wooting 60h, which is made out of a full plastic case. So, for the other two versions, they are

both called the RS7. However, one comes with RGB, and the other is the non-RGB version. Both the non-pro versions come with an aluminum alloy top case but an ABS plastic bottom shell. These non-pro versions also have adjustable feet at the bottom case, unlike the pro version with no angle adjustments. However, the pro version is angled perfectly, where I had no issue in-game or in day-to-day typing. So, besides the case differences, the RS7 non-RGB version's rapid trigger can only be adjusted in steps of 0.05 mm, where the RGB version of the keyboard can be adjusted in steps of 0.02 mm. Here is a detailed spec of all three versions of the RS7. All three versions of the RS7s are gasket-mounted, which makes the acoustic and typing on this keyboard extremely satisfying. And without further ado, let's roll the sound test. [Applause] Finally, let's talk about the price of the keyboard and what comes in the box. The top-tier RS7 Pro, which I have here.

comes in at $180, and the non-pro versions come in at $60 and $150 for the RGB and non-RGB versions, respectively. In the box, it comes with a keyboard, a really nice keyboard dust cover with cool graphics, three spare Jade switches, and a keycap and switch puller. It also comes with a braided USB-A to USB-C cable. I personally have been using this dust cover a lot when I'm not at my desk. I also wanted to mention that on the ATK website, they said the RGB versions of the keyboard would come with extra shine-through keycaps; however, I did not receive any extra keycaps in my order. After I checked Reddit, it seems like everyone's orders were missing these extra keycaps. However, I have been enjoying these stock keycaps on the keyboard. Although they look very gamery, they feel quite good to type or game on. So, after a full week of using the ATK RS7 Pro keyboard, I'm still very surprised and impressed by its performance and quality. Ever since I got

this keyboard. I have not been wanting to go back to my stock gutting 68 just because of how fun this keyboard is to game and type on, and the extra performance is there to back it up. However, in the next videos, I'm going to fully mod out my woing 60 H, and we will see if I will still choose the ATK RS7 Pro over my fully modded woing 60 H.
