[Music] What's up, guys? Welcome back to the channel, and I've been getting a lot of

requests to show my updated BMG wheel settings. So, first thing we're going to do is go over to Controls, click Force

Feedback, and then we are going to click the Access button. Once here, you're going to see all the details for setting up

the wheel. First thing we're going to do is we'll set Direct Input and turn and go to 1.1.

Make sure your linearity is at one. Then we're going to move our Spring and Side XL up and Smooth to 110.

Um, that's going to be very important. I'm going to show you why a little bit later. For Logitech users, this is where you're

going to drop in your LUT file. You'll click that and just drop it right in there over the screen, and it'll save it

to the game. We're not going to be using any of this secondary smoothing stuff or anything like that. Very straightforward.

Don't worry about it; we're just not going to use it. And, uh, if you're on a

direct drive, take your Side XL off and your refresh rate to automatic. Now we're going to go over to Gameplay, and what

this is, we're going to put the gearbox to Arcade. And these were the assists functions that I was using on the

previous wheel settings video. We don't need them anymore. Um, the game has updated the wheel physics, not that we don't need to use

the assists to make the wheel work, but those are the settings I'm using. If you want to try certain different things to

see if it makes it easier and better for you to use. So, back to the smoothing and strength, you're going to go over to your settings

and Controls. You're going to go over to the Keybinds, and at the top search bar, you're going to type in FFB, which is

force feedback, and you're going to see four selections, which are plus and minus for strength and smoothing. You're going

to need to map those, and the reason why you're going to do that is that's going to change how the wheel reacts in the

game. So if you want stronger force feedback on some cars, or softer, you can adjust it, as well as the smoothing,

because some vehicles make the wheel kick really, really hard, and uh, you just don't want the wheel to be rattling

about like that. So you can up the smoothing some, and it makes it just way more, you know, smooth and easier to

maneuver in the game. But as you can see here, we're drifting, putting down some laps on the Grange, and the car is

ripping really easily. This is a model car; it's actually a front-wheel-drive car, but there is a drift version for it, and

uh, yeah, we just did a couple of simple mods, like lower the horsepower and put in a little slip diff rather than weld it.
