You have a pair of AirPods 4 and want to get the most out of them? You've come to the right place. There's no button on the case of the new AirPods, so how do you pair these with a new device? Double tap

the front of the case and wait for the white light to appear. Now go to your Bluetooth settings on your new device, and you should see the AirPods pop up. You can nod or shake your head to answer or reject calls, messages, and notifications. This is on the AirPods 4

and AirPods Pro 2 only. Make sure that announced calls and notifications is turned on before you try this. So go to settings, Siri or Apple Intelligence and Siri, and then announce notifications and announce calls. Turn on each of these options, and then also make sure that it's turned on

for headphones. Now go back out to your main settings page, find your AirPods, and then scroll down to head gestures. When you're on a phone call, swipe down to the control center and tap the microphone icon that's at the top of the screen. This brings up a menu so you

can switch between voice isolation modes or standard voice modes manually. Or, of course, you can leave it on automatic if you want. Add a widget on your lock screen to get a quick visual of your AirPods battery. Long press the lock screen, then customize. Choose your lock

screen, and then add widgets. Here you'll select the battery widget. You can add either the small icon or the longer icon with the percentage written out.
