[Music] Hey! In this tutorial video, we'll show you how to turn a point cloud scan, made with our 3D scanner tool, into a full mesh object. We will scan this cute toy and make a high-quality 3D model. To do this, we first need to install one

free program, available for Windows and macOS. This is MeshLab. Please download and install this program. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Now we can start 3D scanning. Open the app and select Point Cloud Scanner. The

ideal distance from the scanned object is from 40 to 80 centimeters. You can scan an object in two ways: scan the object while moving around, or place the object on a turntable and rotate the object while leaving the device stationary. [Applause]

[Music] After you have finished scanning the object, save it. [Music] On the main screen, select a saved scan. You need to send the point cloud scan to your computer. Click the export button and select the PLY format to export and send the file to your computer.

Open MeshLab and drag and drop the 3D point cloud scan. [Music] [Applause] [Music] To begin with, you can remove unnecessary elements from the point cloud and bring the 3D scan to the desired variant. [Music]

[Applause] [Music] [Music] The next step is to select the Filters tab, then Sampling, then Point Cloud Simplification. The number of samples must be up to 1 million, as a higher number means better quality. [Music] The next step is to select the Filters

Tab, then Remeshing, Simplification, and Reconstruction. Next, Surface Reconstruction screen, position change, reconstruction depth from 8 to 16. [Music] The last step is to select the Filters tab, then Normals, Curvatures, and Orientation. Next, normalize vertex normals, then you can save the 3D model as Alias.

Save the front object (.obj) and send it to your device. [Music] So [Music] save the 3D file in the Files app. Now open the app and select Import from the main screen. Next, find the imported file and save it in the 3D scanner tool.
