Before looking into it, let me start by giving the conclusion. There is no definite evidence of any supplement that directly helps the heart. Shockingly, there is none. Based on my research, there is no solid evidence of anything beneficial; it might be helpful to some extent. For example, when our liver is not in good condition, if we take liver medication, we can see the liver function improving. However, for those with poor kidney function, there are no medications to treat the heart. Kidney blood vessels are damaged, kidney function is reduced, leading to inflammation, the formation of stones, and other kidney problems. In cases like kidney failure, usually, the medications prescribed at the hospital cannot do much. Typically, when it comes to kidneys, the most commonly mentioned treatment is to take blood pressure medication. By generally using blood pressure medication, it helps lower blood pressure, which in turn helps the kidneys.

When the pressure on the blood vessels is lowered, the probability of damage increases. So, it is necessary to manage it. People with poor kidneys usually manage it by taking medication at the hospital. However, even hospital medication may not work as a treatment. Therefore, it seems impossible to do so with supplements. I have been researching consistently for 2-3 days, but nothing seems to fit perfectly. It could be helpful in some papers, while others may contradict. There are too many different opinions, which confused me as well. Therefore, based on the general understanding that kidneys are helpful, I tried to organize the information without looking at the papers. It would be helpful if you could refer to it. For those with very poor kidneys, you should always consult with your primary care physician. And for those who will take something that helps the kidneys, generally, those who do not take medication related to the kidneys.

However, there will be people who need to manage their heart. For those people, you should consider the necessary supplements. Generally, the reason for kidney damage is considered to be due to pressure, poor health conditions, inability to control blood pressure, congenital issues, or inflammation from external factors. When choosing supplements that are beneficial for the heart, you should focus on what role the supplements play. First, you need to find what is good for blood vessels. Look for supplements that promote vascular health, reduce inflammation, and lower blood pressure. Choose within these criteria, and importantly, you should find something that maintains vascular health and alleviates inflammation. Now, let's take a look at supplements that are good for the kidneys. For those who need to manage their kidneys due to congenital issues or just poor health conditions.

First of all, if we briefly list the essential nutrients, the B-vitamins may be necessary. The B-vitamins include B9 and B12, which can both help alleviate homocysteine and vascular diseases. By lowering homocysteine levels, they prevent the worsening of heart diseases. People with heart problems may develop anemia, which is quite concerning. To prevent anemia, additional BTL might be necessary. Therefore, B-vitamins are also essential. Moreover, low iron levels may require iron supplements. So, iron supplements may be necessary. It's important to take care of the kidneys to prevent kidney stones. For those with poor kidney function, magnesium levels in the blood might rise. For general maintenance, magnesium is also needed. Supplying magnesium helps blood vessels relax.

And it helps prevent absenteeism, and vitamin B6 also helps prevent absenteeism. So, they can work well together. Additionally, for those with poor kidney function, vitamin D may be necessary because it affects vitamin D synthesis. However, if you consume vitamin D in excessively high doses, it can actually be harmful to the kidneys. Therefore, it is recommended to take only around 400 to 1000 IU, or up to 2000 IU at most. This is the recommended amount for general kidney health that requires these trace elements. Omega-3 is generally important; it is important when it enters the body. Omega-6 is also important, and both omega-3 and omega-6 are important. These omega-3 fatty acids improve the properties in the blood vessels and help reduce damage to the blood vessels and lower blood pressure. So, omega-3 is important.

It is generally one of the recommended supplements for kidney, so I recommend Omega repair. I looked up some data on Omega-3 fatty acids. When Omega-3 fatty acids were administered, about 0.5g per day was given. There was a meta-analysis of the data tracked at that time. When Omega-3 fatty acids were administered for several years, it was reported to improve factors such as cholesterol levels in the liver. It also reduced the risk of heart failure, so in the 2nd stage, it lowered the mortality rate of end-stage heart failure patients. I will refer to the data, but when you look at the paper, sometimes there was an effect, and sometimes there was not, so the paper is very back and forth like this, so it's not certain. The analysis of the paper is done like this, and on the other hand, there was no improvement in the renal function, as stated. Even for solid fruits, in some data, there was an effect, and in some data, there was no effect, so it's ambiguous. In general, based on the common sense that I know, Omega-3 can be helpful in the long run. As I mentioned, it can help to alleviate inflammation and improve the elasticity of blood vessels, so from a long-term perspective, I personally recommend Omega-3. Please don't blindly believe what I say, but if you consider it helpful, it would be good. So, a comprehensive vitamin content that can fill from 1 to 4 is recommended.

Have a not too high one, and if you attach omega-3 fatty acids here, it becomes a good nutritional supplement for heart health. Now, when we think about what is good for blood vessels, there is something I mentioned before, which is grape seed extract. This helps a lot with venous blood vessels, but there is also a study that it helps with renal blood vessels. So, when I looked into it, there was data showing an overall improvement in clearance and creatinine filtration when 2g of grape seed extract was administered daily for 6 months. Extracts like accords seed, which are polyphenol type compounds, could be helpful. And anthocyanins, no, not polyphenols for months, anthocyanins, and quercetin. There is data suggesting that it is not good for the kidneys, so we recommend taking the recommended daily amount from there. Cer setting is good for vascular health, like anthocyanins, which is good for blood vessels. So, for those with high blood pressure or angina, and for prevention of eye health in the team, it is good. Most of the data on this is based on studies targeting mice. The results of consistent administration after several months showed that when consistently administered, kidney inflammation decreases, and the kidney filtration capacity improves. There is a paper on this, which is common sense, but since it was targeted at mice, we cannot know exactly for humans. Please consider it this way. If inflammation decreases and vascular health improves, what else could be good? We can think about that.

However, as I have thought about it, what could be there? There are antioxidants. Antioxidants that we generally think of are vitamin C, coenzyme Q10, vitamin E, and N-acetylcysteine, selenium, etc. There is a meta-analysis on this, so I looked it up a bit. However, the authors conducted experiments mainly on people with poor kidney function, so the data when administered did not show significant results, and the experiments were not randomly selected, leading to a lack of completeness. They made the assumption that the meta-analysis was incomplete. Even when looking at the results of the meta-analysis, some show effects, and some do not. Therefore, when speculating about the effects on the heart, there are some ambiguous parts. Both vitamin C and selenium induce oxidative stress in the bloodstream.

It is stated that when the numbers decrease, looking at some papers, they mention chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients. CKD patients with a GFR of 2:00, there are issues such as proteinuria, glomerular filtration rate management, and so on. A state that has lasted for more than three months is called a CKD patient on a scale. People with this condition have significantly elevated inflammatory markers in their blood, such as C-reactive protein levels, indicating chronic inflammation. By taking medications regularly, these levels can be reduced, which can help improve overall kidney function, regardless of whether it helps or not. I've also seen tears shed, indicating that vitamin C and antioxidants may have some ambiguous aspects. Coenzyme Q10, an antioxidant that helps with blood vessels and blood pressure regulation, is a representative example.

Omega-3 is not well controlled for blood pressure in people with poor kidney function. There was a paper that using CoQ10 as an adjunctive therapy could help with blood pressure control for such individuals. Therefore, it is said that taking CoQ10 with Omega-3 at the end is effective. Even if CoQ10 may not directly help the kidneys, it can still be beneficial because it lowers blood pressure, promotes vascular health, and always produces energy. That's why there is advice to take CoQ10 with Omega-3 fatty acids. Lastly, arginine is known to relax blood vessels and promote blood circulation, which could help with kidney function and relaxation.

So, there is an effect of relaxing the overall blood vessels, which helps reduce the burden on the kidneys. It is said that arginine also, usually targeting rats, when a certain amount of arginine is taken, there is data showing an increase in white blood cells. These are all good supplements for the kidneys, but there are some vague areas. The B vitamins, especially B6, decrease the homocysteine level. So, how much improvement can there be? It can only be preventive for the kidneys, and having slightly improved kidneys won't cause anemia, and most likely, the same goes for vitamin D. Also, Omega-3, well, since it contains somewhat trustworthy oil components, fatty acids, I personally recommend that those who are not good at managing it take a certain amount for management purposes. If you take about 2g of Omega-3 per serving, there should be no problem, and as for grape seed extract, personally, it's better to take various things rather than a single extract.

There may be products containing polyphenols in the mix that you can buy together and take, which may be helpful. Just consider this much. Antioxidants are supposed to be taken for the purpose of maintaining health anyway. Don't take a mega dose, just take a certain amount for daily intake, it would be helpful. I recommend taking CoQ10. Arginine is a bit ambiguous because it was targeted at rats, so it's ambiguous. So, if I were to recommend a supplement, it would be a comprehensive vitamin 1 that contains all of these, and if you take it with Omega-3 and polyphenols, it seems like it would be good. However, you should only consider my opinion. If you believe in my opinion and something goes wrong with your kidneys, I cannot take responsibility, so you should consider it. If you search for information on kidneys, you will see that there is hardly any information, even among blogs related to nutrition.

Even if you search for that, it barely touches on the kidneys. The data is ambiguous, so I'm also uncertain, but I mentioned it based on a paper. For those with poor kidney function who take medication, have had a transplant, have done dialysis, I cannot guarantee for these people. Therefore, you should just take it as a reference.
