hey all and welcome back to fuzzy duy gaming and a new video on the channel. Trying to solve map sustain issues. There's a lot of people that seem to be struggling to sustain their favorite maps and connected Maps. I'll firstly point out that it is very difficult to sustain your favorite maps without taking map nodes. So the idea of this tree is to still get regular income from things like scarabs, t7s, and alter currency whilst increasing your map supply to then be able to switch to a tree that doesn't need map to state. The idea is you can switch between the two trees as and when you need m maps and you don't have to worry about not getting any currency in while you're farming up your maps. I've tried to keep the strategy as simple and cheap as possible but you can boost it a lot by using cartography scarabs, which I'll cover off later on. However, they are pretty expensive. This strategy does take all the extra effect of explicit modifiers on the tree, so it needs a

better character than my Scarab tree to be comfortable, and you have to be wary of some map mods, as you're essentially doubling the effect of the map mods. So, things like fizzes extra become much more deadly, and minus Max res pretty much becomes a nogo because it's going to be around minus 25% maximum resistances. So, if you do try this Strat, roll your Maps more carefully than you usually would for an alcen goat strategy. I have chiseled every map just for more quantity. I'll go through the tree first, then we'll go through a couple of important discoveries along with the loop from 20 maps and a sample of results from four Maps where I ran some expensive cartography scarabs. So, we'll go through the tree and the reasoning behind all of the nodes. So, I won't go through every single node, but I'll just go through generally what the tree looks for. We're looking to take as many Scarab nodes as possible, along with taking the chance to get decent scarabs like Ambush.

Harbinger domination, and then I also take cartography. We're taking all of the small implicits that basically make your Maps harder. So, if you had 20% increase of explicit modifiers, and you had 10% reflect, it would be 12% reflect. And these add up to a big difference, which I mentioned at the beginning of the video. We take a wheel here that also has 3%, and then it also has 3% per 5% quality. And we're using chisels, and we're taking all of those nodes where we can. I believe there's also some down here. So, again, this is 2% per explicit modifier, and then 3% per small node. Taking all of the increased quantity wheel and the quantity and Rarity if you want to keep up gold and get a better chance of drop Maps. Every tree is kind of going to have these nodes in it anyway, and then everything else is just either small Scarab nodes, map drop nodes, or xar alts. So, we take all of the small

nodes we can for maps to have a 5% chance to be tier one higher. So, what this will do, even though we got four void stones in, is T-50 Maps will still drop. They just get hidden and converted into map points. If you can turn those 15s into 16s, it's a massive boost to your map sustain. So, don't sleep on these small nodes. So, we go and take shape in the skies, we take shape in the mountains, and we take shape in the world, which I'll come on to in a minute. Seems to either be broken or interacts really well with all of the other nodes we have to path through bold undertak, but I don't use any options on the map device, so you don't need to worry about it. We just have to path there to get to these nodes here, and then we're taking world of xar, and then some small pack size increases, and then light of dawn to have a better chance to spawn xar alts because you can get

things like increased quantity and rarity. You can get increased scarab drops, chaos orbs, unmaking gem cutters, prisms, lots of stuff that sells really well and quickly on the exchange, just to make the maps easier because they can be a lot more difficult if you get the wrong modifiers. I'm also taking all the shrine nodes which are here, over here, and then these two here. This guarantees you two shrines, and it just means that with the fact you get two effects per shrine, you can get your character hopefully pretty quick tanky and just generally do more damage. It just makes the maps quicker. If you don't need these, you can certainly switch them out for something else. You could take more scarab nodes, or you could start putting a league mechanic in there, but I just wanted a tree that was very simple to follow, didn't need to complete any specific league mechanics, and you can just chisel out and go. So just cover off the last point which is singular focus. You can use this node. I just decided not to because it

does affect the t17 maps you drop in a couple of different ways. Firstly, the way that t-17s get converted, I believe, is that you drop a t16, and you get an x% chance to convert it to a t17 with singular Focus. The maps don't drop; they're turned into currency before the map shows up on your loot, so they can't convert into t17. And the second point is we have an 85% chance for a Tier 15 map to turn into a t16. Again, if this isn't your favorite map, that doesn't happen. It will just turn into currency. The same with the map Equity. If you're not sure how this works, go on the wiki and have a look in terms of map drops. But even though you have four void stones, maps still drop lower. They just get converted into points, which when they reach the points of a t16 map, they'll drop you a t16. That won't happen with singular Focus unless those maps are City Square or toxic sewer. So again

you're limiting the T16s that you drop, which again limits T7s that drop, and they're pretty big currency. You can sustain fine without singular focus, so I don't see the point of maybe getting a couple of extra city squares to drop but maybe less T7s over time. By all means, run singular focus. I decide personally not to use it because I want to maximize my chance of dropping T17 maps. So, last thing I'll cover off in regards to Atlas Tre is can you run Eer Alters instead of Sirin Xar, and you certainly can. There's three main reasons I run Sirin Xar. Firstly, the instant loot that drops is better in my opinion than the E of Worlds unless you get super lucky. Secondly, I hate the delay on the E2 of Worlds mods. I'd rather just run through the map really quickly because I've got a very quick character. I don't want to have to waste 10 to 15 seconds per map waiting for mobs to spawn out.

the ground. Lastly, my character is alone immune, and I've got burning ground from a Pantheon. There are two increased Quant and Rarity mods on the XR Alters that are pretty common, which are inflict Scorch and then also drop burning ground. I'm immune to both of those, so they're just free quantity and Rarity. If you prefer eer mods and you can cope with the downsides of the mods, these are probably slightly better to run because you're going to get more quantity and Rarity. That's going to mean more maps, more t7s, and just more currency in general, but it might be spiky. If you don't get those Alters, you're probably very unlikely to get anything of worth from the alts, but really, it's personal preference. I just always prefer to run xar Alters, but you can certainly run eer if you'd rather do that. You just take the same nodes that you've taken this side of the tree over here. So, there's a few things to know about the strategy.

the first is we are chiseling, so you're very unlikely to sustain your chisels. You can buy them on the exchange, but they're pretty expensive. So, if I go chaos, and then if I want chisels, you can see here there's sort of 1.25 chisels for one if you wanted to just buy what was available, or you can put something in for around 1.8. What you can do is buy them from Kirak, but he only sells one lot per map roll. In terms of your missions, I don't do my mission, so I have got, if we go and have a look at my map device, I have 90 red Kir missions. So, what I can do here is see if he's got them for sale. He doesn't. I can then just activate a random mission, so we'll just do this one. And then once the portal is open, his inventory will reset, and I can then buy 20 chisels for eight chaos orbs. So, that's I think 1 point or

2.5 chisels per chaos orb. Much better than the rate on the exchange. So, I would utilize your missions if you don't use them just to buy chisels from Kak. I think it's worth doing because they are going to give you more currency, more map drops, and certainly if we're getting, let's say, this cost 1.5 to 2C per map, you're easily going to get that back. If you just get one extra map every other map, you're getting your value back. You're also going to get extra currency drop and things like that. The other thing I want to point out, which you might have noticed from the footage at the beginning of the video, is pretty much every boss dropped a map. We're going to favor as many of our maps as we want to drop as possible, and then one connected map so we can ping pong between the two. But I had, I made a very scribbled note on my notepad here. We ran 20 maps and just

from the boss alone, we dropped 23 maps. I only had one map where the boss didn't drop a map, and then there were, I think, four or five maps where they dropped two. For the majority of the time, they were my favorite map. I think there was two Guardian maps and then potentially a T17, but overall, just in terms of maps, just the boss will sustain your map drops, and that was the same on City Square and Toxic Sewer. So, it wasn't the fact that you get more bosses on City Square. You do normally get more map drops from a boss anyway, but I do wonder whether this interacts or is multiplicative with other nodes. Because, yeah, literally, it was one map out of 20. I didn't get a map from the boss. Every other either got one or two maps from the boss, and this, I think, again goes into the fact that we're turning 15s into 16s, and then we are also having a chance, even though it's 5%, to drop a connected map. The boss

just seems to pretty much guarantee a map drop, so definitely don't sleep on this node. I haven't tested it fully to know whether it is just this node, but I have noticed when I've tried trees without it, I don't get anywhere near as many map drops from the boss. I was going to do a bigger test, but we dropped an absolute ton of maps. There's no need to test further than that. Um, it wasn't like one map; I got lucky and got 15 maps to drop. The boss pretty much dropped a map every time, and a monster dropped a connected map fairly regularly. So if we go into my dump tab for my 20 Maps, this is what we had dropped. I got quite lucky in terms of loot, but this isn't really to showcase the loot; this is to showcase the map drops. Um, so we had a Valdo's box, three T7s in 20 Maps. We returned 19 City squares, 11 Toxic sewers, and then 13 random Maps. These Maps down here I've put because one was a like arch nemesis.

loot explosion. Dro four maps, and one was a cartography strong box that I didn't even notice. It was just scoured. I activated it and had four Maps drop. You will get things like a loot explosion or the odd strong box, but I've just put this here to be transparent that these were kind of extra content drops. You're obviously going to get things like your Eldritch currencies. You're going to get an absolute ton of scarabs. We've got lucky and got a Divine orb smatter in the small currencies, but in general, the loot, if we have a quick look, uh, including the maps, was eight divines worth of loot from 20 Maps. But this was a very lucky set with we got a Divine, we got a puzzle box, uh, t7s. You should drop quite a lot because we're basically concentrating on maps, and it is obviously valuing every map that we pick up, but I do think this league maps have value, so don't expect necessarily to get eight divines for your 20 Maps.

but you are easily going to sustain or over-sustain your maps, and you're going to be able to pick up a ton of scarabs to sell on the exchange. I did mention that I did a very small test with cartography scarabs. If we go and have a look in my scarabs, so I can remember what ones we ran. So, use one cartography scar of escalation, which gives you 10% increase in maps found per modifier on your map. So, what I made sure I did, I didn't run eight mod corrupted, which is what you should do if you're using this Scarab. I just rolled my maps until they hit six modifiers, which is the max that you could get. I ran one cartography scar of a multitude, which gives you 8 to 12 additional packs that have much more chance to drop maps. And then I ran a cartography scab of corruption, so that every map that drops has eight modifiers. They are quite expensive. I think the combination of scarabs is probably about 30 to 40 chaos to run.

those just those three scarabs per map, and in terms of drops, we did drop a lot. I dropped eight City squares, four toxic sewers, three random maps, and a t17. But I will say my first three Maps were pretty terrible. I think I got two maps per my first three Maps. Then the fourth one, it just started raining Maps. So I think you need to make sure if you do this strategy that ideally you're running eight mod maps because you're going to get more chance, you're going to have more quantity, more Rarity. It is going to make the maps really, really hard. I will say I wouldn't recommend just throwing the scarabs in on this strategy because I'm sure there are strategies that people have bought out that specifically Farm eight mob Maps. This isn't what that does. I just wanted to test if I wanted to throw some scarabs in that I picked up. What's the likelihood of me getting decent enough loot to make it worthwhile? Um, that's kind of it. I personally haven't had any issue with map sustain.

at all the um Scarab tree that I bought out before. I'm massively over-sustained and almost filled up my toxic sewers and my city squares. But there are people that are messaging you're saying they just can't get maps to drop. The only caveat is if you're doing this sort of strategy you need your full Void Stones. If you haven't got your Void Stones it's not really the time to go and set up a farming strategy. You can do something simple in tier six Maps maybe Farm some Essences but if you want to do something that relies on the higher map chance drop higher quantity and Rarity and boost things up you really want your four Void Stones. It firstly allows you to pick any map that you want. If you didn't have four you couldn't for example Farm tropical island if you wanted to or Junes. There's some maps that you just can't farm at t16s so don't try this strategy if you've only got two Void Stones. Your goal at that point should be making your character

good enough to get the third and the fourth or buying carries CU. I'm sure at this age of the league they're super cheap. That's it for the video. It was a fairly quick one just to show a tree that I've been using and as I mentioned I just tried to make it fairly similar to mascara tree because you might just want to use a making to Respec run 20 or 30 Maps get your Maps back and then put your tree back to what it was or have this as just a dedicated map tree which is what I do. I'll have my three Atlas trees that I'm working on and then I'll always have this one that I can just go back to farm some maps. It may not Farm as much currency as other strategies but it does at least return you know a couple of divines an hour profit and then you've got your maps to then run a strategy you want without having to buy the maps. The atlas tree will be in the video description. This is really just a

baseline tree. It might not be the most optimal, but it works, so feel free to tweak it. But I would leave all the map nodes in if it is something you want to try. If it's too difficult, you can drop some of the major nodes like this one and this one here just to make it so the explicits aren't quite as punishing. I've also put a PO in the video description for my character. I wouldn't recommend you copy it; it's definitely worse than my lightning strike character, more expensive, but it's something I wanted to try, and it's a lot of fun, but it's certainly not optimizing any way.
