I'd say nine out of ten guys out there commit this horrendous, horrendous mistake. You see, if you have the mindset of I hope I get along with this girl. I really want her to like me, whether you like it or not, you'll come across as needy, pleasing. Because look, mindset drives behavior. It's a fact of human psychology. This is just how it works. If you have a rapport-seeking mindset, you're going to try too much to get that rapport. You'll want to say the right things, do the right things, and be whatever it takes to make the girl like you. But guess what? This is how a girl ends up disliking you, because you come across as needy and approval-hungry, and that's not who you want to be.
