Guys, I am truly astonished at what I was capable of generating with the Gemini 2.0 model and its free API.

Having it linked with Glide, this is the app that it was capable of generating: a fully functional financial dashboard.

You have the ability to track recent transactions; you can set budget goals from various categories; you can enter any amount, and then set the budget.

You can then also track and generate reports, which showcase your income summary, your expense summary, and provide a savings rate.

What's also cool is that you also have an investment analysis of your stocks, bonds, and real estate, and it also provides a

recommendation that we had basically specified. You can track your stock performance as well, provide event details, and even toggle the

dark mode and light mode. This was the capability I was able to generate with the help of Glide, combined with the

free API that I got from OpenAI for the Gemini 2.0 flash model. Just yesterday, we had an incredible new

launch from Google where they introduced their latest new model called the Gemini 2.0 flash, a part of the new

2.0 series. This model is incredible and it introduced improved capabilities like native tool use, and for the first time,

Gemini can also natively create images and even generate speech. It's still experimental, so keep that in mind, but

its benchmark scores are what are truly remarkable. Take a look at this table, which describes Gemini 2.0 flash's

performance versus the 1.5 Pro and the 1.5 flash, which it greatly outpaces in

various benchmarks regarding coding, math, reasoning, and much more. It even outpaces Anthropic's Claude 3.5 and others in various

benchmarks. And you know what's even better? This model is reportedly the same sort of price that we saw with the 1.5.

Flash, which is its predecessor. Now, this is being reported, so don't take that too seriously, as it's not 100% confirmed, but

I'm quite sure that it will be even cheaper than the Claude 3.5. Speaking of the Claude 3.5 model, it

is reported to be outperformed by the Gemini 2.0 Flash on the Suway benchmark

verification test, which is insane. As this new Gemini model not only is better at coding in different categories, but also

is faster with its inference speed. It doesn't run into rate limits like Claude, and it also provides a large context

window. This is why I believe this model could be the best to be used for coding-based tasks and for development, which is

why today I'll be showcasing how you can use the Gemini 2.0 Flash model for free.

And this is with the free API that you can get through OpenAI. I will be having this model combined with Klein.

For the people who don't know, Klein is an autonomous coding agent right in your IDE, capable of creating, editing files,

executing commands using the browser, and much more, at your permission, each step of the way. So, with that thought, let's

get straight into the video and showcase how we can get started. What I want you guys to do first is go over to OpenAI

and create an account. Once you have done so, go over to your keys and generate a new key, completely for free.

This is going to be a key that you can set up for free by simply clicking on this button and generating a random one,

and then you can go ahead and copy this key, which is something that we're going to be inputting into Klein. Then make

sure you have an IDE. In this case, I'm going to be using VS Code, but you can also use Project IDE, Cursor, or even Vim.

So go ahead and install it for your operating system. Open up your IDE and head over to extensions. Go ahead and

download the client as an extension if you do not have it already. Once you have installed it, you will see it on the left

hand panel. So go ahead and click on it, click on the settings tab, go over to the open API key, go ahead and paste in your

key, and then for the model, go ahead and search for the Gemini 2.0 flash experimental free model. This is where

you're going to be able to now access this API key completely for free and get the chance to access this new model. You

can provide a custom instruction, but now what we're going to be doing is going ahead and generating various sorts of

applications with it. Now, one thing to note is that it does not support computer use and it does not support

prompt caching. In this case, this doesn't even matter because we're using this completely for free. So let's go ahead

and start generating various things with this model. So here's the prompt: I'm going to have it create an interactive

finance dashboard using Shanten UI components. Now, if you were to see my yesterday's video on the Gemini model,

you're able to see how well this model is in processing larger instructions as well as generating larger contexts of

code. Now, I currently ran into an API request failure, but we got it to work now, so we can go ahead and have it

generate based off of the prompt that I gave it, and you can see there's zero API cost. So we can go ahead and have it

generate and execute commands such as creating the finance dashboard folder. But essentially, I wanted to have a visualization; I wanted to have it so

that you can track metrics like your revenue as well as responses to expenses and profits. So let's go ahead and

code, and we can now access this calculator app. You can see how quick it was to easily generate this. Obviously,

this is a calculator app, which is super easy to generate, but this was something that you can easily do completely for

free with the help of Klein and the new Gemini 2.0 Flash model, and that's about
