Hello ladies and gentlemen, it's Mike here at Game From Scratch, and today we have the Game Creator Mega Bundle. Now, this is part of the ongoing Humble Bundles reruns; basically, they're bringing back the bestselling bundles from 2023 for game developers for two days only.

This one is a 2D bundle. Basically, if you're using RPG Maker, Unity, Godot, Game Maker, etc., and looking for some 2D assets, this could be a good pickup for you. There's a lot of very realistic-style sprite work here that's not something you see very

often. So I'm going to show you some examples from this bundle in just a second. Now, one of the big differences you'll notice from the first time this ran back in August is that there are no tiers now. So you can see here, previously there was

a $1 tier, a median tier, and then a $20 tier. Now it's $20, and you get every single thing you see here. So, this bundle is more or less about the assets, but there are a couple of tools in here as well, including one game

engine, which is the 001 Game Creator. Now, I'm kind of curious if they called it 001 Game Creator because, once upon a time, they used to use this as a naming convention so that you showed up first in the phone book. So, once upon a time, there used to be a thing called a phone book, and I've always been kind of curious if that's why they called it 001 Game Creator—so it always shows up at the top of the list. It's actually kind of an interesting game engine. I have done a

Hands-on video; there's a demo available if you want to check it out. A Steam key is available in this bundle.  On top of that, we also have a tool called RPG Tools

This is a combination character maker that works with some of the sprites in this pack, so you can create dress-up doll style characters, like the original Diablo I setup.  On top of that, there seem to be some

level editing tools and other things here, as well as integration with the effect Seer.  A number of built-in base players are included with your kit, and, like I said, you can use these character pieces.

Some of the assets you'll get are characters in various pieces; you see their dress and then armor you can put over top, various different weapons you can cycle in. This is how you create that Diablo I sprite setup, and there are some tools to make it

work. By the way, this is one of the included assets: Character Pieces Volume Two. There are several from this PVG or PV Games group. We also have some art packs here, again for that isometric art style, so if

you're trying to create a Diablo-esque game, they have a number of different environments. There are a ton in these packs, which is interesting. It's a tile set in an isometric style, but we've also got a variety from this particular

Creator, uh, Seraf Circle, uh, and you're going to notice this is for that traditional RPG Maker battler-type setup. A number of sprites for doing that kind of stuff; there's a number of different packs for this in there as well, uh, and

then we also have Tyler Warren Battlers. You see this art style here, and unfortunately, you're going to see no real consistency between them. But if you're doing an RPG Maker VX Ace style battler, that is what these packs are like. But there's just so much in this

that you could probably get away with, you know, only paying attention to a third of the contents if it fits your art style. And again, we go back here; more, uh, packs. This is like, uh, infernal characters again in that 2.5D style.

Um, and this isn't an art style you get very often, so that's one of the interesting things about this particular asset pack. Uh, and then we have the Dungeon Designer. This is basically like, um, the actual raw image files; PNGs with layer support for creating

isometric setups. So you see various different walls you can work with, uh, dungeons and floors. So you mix the characters and the, the, um, 2.5D style sprites we've seen at this point in time all together, and this is the

kind of environment that you can go ahead and create here. Now, that is the dungeon version; here is the cyberpunk edition. So it's kind of the same thing, just more of a modern, future, cyberpunk vibe to it. I'm not going to wait for that to load.

You get an idea from the picture over there, uh, and then we've got other tiles here for more of a realistic look, if you're making a World War II-style game. Now, one thing about these is they're just gigantic. So this tile pack, for example,

has 471 tiles in it, and then you've got things in it like tanks, and those tanks will be done in eight different orientations for each particular vehicle. Uh, so these packs are very comprehensive. If you want to check out the original video I did on this one, uh,

it does go through and demonstrate some of the assets hands-on, so you can see the various different outfits that you can put together to create your character. And we have a couple of other ones where there are different, uh, different layers that you could switch to get a variety of different

results out of it. Um, so yeah, that is the bundle. So yeah, that is the Game Creator Mega Bundle. Like I said, there is a ton of stuff in here, a variety of art styles being shown here. So if you're using battlers, you've got a number of

different creatures that are in that particular style; whereas if you're dealing with the more 2.5D stuff, you've got a ton of stuff there. This is all for 2.5D stuff, uh, and then again,

animation sets, isometric stuff here. So it kind of depends on what you're looking at, but there is a ton of sprite work here in a number of different styles and a couple of different tools in here as well; specifically, the 001 Game Creator and then that other one I saw.
