But the underwater welders, I think they get paid a minimum of like eighty dollars an hour or something like that, something crazy like that. They mentioned their pay, and I was like

Wow, I want to be an underwater welder. Well, congratulations. All right, looking for a welding job. All right, well, you never know, dinos might need a welder, but [Laughter] but we'll definitely still hang out in Coney Island, right? We will still hang out here in Coney. Are you looking into underwater welding? Yeah, it's intense. It looks pretty intense at underwater welding. I tell you what, it's beautiful out here. What happened to the wind? We lost all the wind. It was really windy when it came down here today, and uh, yeah, you're gladly well for dinos, right? Yeah, I feel that. Really nice and peaceful out here on the pier. I almost want to go in the water right now. That is good to see you, Bob. How does all that sand get up here? Well, there's little uh, little little gaps here in the wood, and as the wind pushes up from the water, it comes up through those gaps, and then after a while, it begins to collect. so you see here, the sand comes right up to underneath the pier, and then, as you see, it collects there because it gets into the, it comes up between the gaps, and the wind pushes it up. And here we are out on the beach now, people still hanging out. We are in the yellow zone. We are just on

the border of a COVID hot spot here in New York State. They call it the Ocean Parkway corridor or cluster, and we're just on the outside of that. Gatherings, you can't have gatherings here in Coney of up to 25 people, but if you're in the red zone, the red zone, you could only have gatherings of up to 10 people. Anything larger than that is subject to ticketing and fine. Good to see William. Yeah, great picture. Hopefully, this stream looks like the Streamlabs app has been vastly updated, so I'm wondering how good the picture is once we get on past the pier here. I noticed there was quite a big update to the Streamlabs app and, uh, decided to use Streamlabs today, and it seems to be working out very well. We used to use it a couple of years back. I stopped using it because it just wasn't working properly, but they finally have fixed the bugs in this too, so, or it seems to have fixed the bugs in it, so that's a good thing.

Not gonna lie, last night I played, uh, how many hours? I played truck sim for like six hours yesterday. [Music] I played the truck simulator for six hours. Almost broadcasted it, but I was like, I'm having too much fun. I'm having too much fun listening to CNN in the background and driving the truck. So, I spent six hours of my life driving from Tucson up to San Francisco. And that's the old TV show Renegade Sunset. Maybe watch Shakes the Clown. How great is that movie? How great is Shakes the Clown? I was recently introduced to that movie, sort for the

first time and was like, What the hell am I watching here? And I guess shakes the clown. They're in New York State somewhere. I noticed New York City plates. Oh, look at the reflection on the bicycle. Ah, the kids' reflectors look so cool. They're like perfect with the sun. Hadn't seen in 20 years. Syracuse. Wow, yeah. The great Patrick of Coney Island USA fame told me about shakes the clown a couple of weeks ago, and then I decided, Let me watch this thing kind of on a lark. Nothing to watch on TV. Yeah, how the hell did that movie get financed? Lots of amazing cameos in it. Freaking Adam Sandler is unrecognizable in the film. But the whole story of an alcoholic clown, um, and I really do like how Bobcat Goldthwait directed and wrote that film. What the hell? Where was I when that came out in 1991? Tom Kennedy is amazing. Yeah, I was like, Where has this movie been? I was kind of

shocked and uh yeah so many great uh that whole 80s 90s era kind of looks like the 50s but it's not the 50s kind of styling and it was his directorial and screenplay debut wow yeah if you haven't seen shakes the clown pookaville yes pucaville pukeville is in new york state i guess pookaville is in new york state just saying folks pookaville is in new york state all the cars have new york state license plates on it it's a comedy it's a drama it's a it's the drunken it's a drunken clown movie of the 90s it's a very yes yes i will have to agree it's a very dark comedy it's a very dark comedy the coney island skyline right there hopefully before this live stream concludes we will see the steeplechase parachute jump in its halloween lighting scenario steeplechase parachute jump is lit up.

It doesn't look like it's blurry, which is good. Looks like it's maintaining the focus. It used to not be able to do this, and this was a reason why I stopped using the Streamlabs app. It wasn't really good transitioning between low light and bright light, if you will. So, this is looking pretty good. I'm definitely liking the updated signal indicator. They have an updated signal indicator here, which is really nice. Don't mind the Streamlabs logo on screen that much. Don't mind it that much. It's not that big of a deal. Oh, there it goes. Disappears. Look at that. Because I mentioned it, it disappeared. I keep on getting reports of, uh, and seeing, um, all of our favorite attractions pretty much empty. Uh, my friend who works over at the Statue of Liberty said the other day that only about 200 people visited the island on a weekday, and uh,

So everyone had the whole place to themselves. I've seen pictures from the top of the Empire State Building, on top of the Rock, in the World Trade Center, and the Edge, and nobody's up there. So they're all opened up, but nobody's up there. A lot of people getting their own private elevator rides up and down, which is pretty cool. That'd be the one reason to go, just enjoy the elevator ride by yourself as a dog's bark. Gonna definitely try Coney Island because you both love the beach and the funfair. Yeah, oh yeah, hopefully, we'll reopen again on Palm Sunday, Palm Sunday weekend in April. That's what we're all hoping for. A friend went to American Dream with his kids. They were the only ones there. Yeah, yeah, I keep on hearing these stories of people going to really popular places and them being virtually empty. But down goes the sun, down goes the sun. There is your Coney Island sunset, everybody. The sun is down. We have made it. Afterglow's special now.

[Music] but there it is, a beautiful, beautiful sky. Now, let's get that wide shot. Now this thing zooms in a lot. Look at that, look at that afterglow, them of the sun right there, down for another day. And now all we need is for the parachute jump lights to turn on, telling your partner about the wonder wheel and the beautiful view. Oh yeah, yeah, the wonder wheel definitely offers a fantastic view. There it is. I hate to say I was one of only a handful of people to actually ride the wonder wheel this year. It's actually, let's walk the boardwalk here and take in the scene. Let's get one last view here of the sun or afterglow's special, and then we're gonna, we'll walk around here. Okay, Jim, you can turn on, you can turn the parachute jump lights now. So excited about working hard for it. Oh yeah, it's definitely worth it, definitely worth saving your nickels, arms, and pennies to come out to Coney or Martin, New York. No, none, the rides never opened this year.

The rides never opened this year. We never got guidance from the state of New York, so a lot of things didn't open this year, amusement-wise. Lego Land here in New York State was supposed to open up; that never opened, and kind of sad. But me and the great Dick Zigga of Coney Island USA, we tried to, we made a couple of videos petitioning the state to open up the rides. So, did a ride on the Cyclone, did a ride on the Wonder Wheel. We even got to do the famous Dumbo, the Dumbo picture shot, the water and Washington shot, the classic. You could actually, if you take a walking tour with me over the Brooklyn Bridge, I do take you through Jumbo. Okay, this is kind of looks better than

what I noticed it before little silhouettes here of people dancing, but it's not as good. And I hate to say this, but it's not as good as the one you got to see next. And that's, of course, done by our friend Danielle Mastrion. Is this a no? It's not. I better say this is not the Luna Park PA set system. That is the margarita island blasting the right stuff from the new kids on the block. Some businesses here at the end of Jones Walk are open. Free refills. Look at how inviting that looks. That looks so inviting. Oh, I just want to go running down there and get me a margarita with a free refill.
