With the most recent patch nerfing Big Huey and buffing a couple of other underperforming characters, we have a lot to talk about regarding the current meta of Super VIVE. So today we are going to rank each character from worst to best.

to climb with as most players in ranked right now. The ratings on this list are an amalgamation of how these characters are performing in ranked scrims and applied to the average player, so the list might look weird, but let me cook. Keep in mind that any of these

characters could be used to climb to Legend. Some are just harder in my opinion compared to others, but smash that subscribe button and let's get right into it. Starting with Celeste, it is crazy that I am saying this, but she genuinely might be the worst character

on this patch, which is crazy because in a lot of other ways I've always been saying that Celeste is absolutely crazy. But the problem is a lot of people are playing Hudson right now. Hudson is still a very strong character and it's super easy to play, that new players are just

going to get melted by it. On top of that, Hudson also just melts your wall, uh, it only has like a 1,000 HP at level two and I'm pretty sure 2,000 at level three. Those points might be doubled, but at the end of the day, a Hudson with LMB is

just going to absolutely melt these things and you're not going to be able to really do a whole lot with that. And he pretty much just denies what you want to do the whole game. It's, it's really annoying to play against the Hudson as

Celeste, and while she's not necessarily bad, there are just so many other options that are better, like Oath for example. And because Oath is really good, guess what Oath is going to do? He's going to block your Celeste alt, so not only is one

of your get out of jail free cards null and void, another one is as well, which is your ultimate, because Oath is just going to stop that. I mean, I just think you're better off with literally any other character, which is crazy to me because in Alpha Celeste was the goat, and now

players are kind of realizing maybe there's some counterplay. So maybe Hudson is going to be that way in two to three months when people start to learn how to play against him. But anyways, let's move on to Shrike. Shrike was already struggling as a character before this

whole 'huey' BS stuff started to happen, and the crazy thing to me, and I don't even play Shrike, and I would be really tilted if I was a Shrike player, Hudson still outranges her even with the nerfs. It's not by a lot, don't get me wrong, but he

still outranges Shrike, which I think is just crazy to me. On top of that, Hudson is also paired with an Oath usually, and what is Oath going to do against Shrike? Well, she, he's just going to dash on top of you with a shield in

your face, and you're not going to be able to do anything. That being said, the only reason why I say she might be a little bit better than Celeste is that she can at least burn Bird Bomb the Hudson if he's trying to stand still.

with a minigun, but at the end of the day, I think Shrike is too easy to play against once you learn the basic mechanics of the game. Um, obviously yes, she still has that long-range dash, so she can dash out of the fight, but realistically, you

have four players, one of them can force that out. And if she dashes out, she's probably just out of the fight anyways, so there's ways to play against a Shrike. You just need to think about it a little bit differently. Moving on to the next character though, we have Luna, and it's

kind of crazy if you know me, and this isn't the first video you've watched. It's kind of crazy that I'm putting Luna where she is on this list right now. It's crazy that she's starting to do better. The reason being is that she

actually does some pretty damn good damage, all things considered. The only problem of why she's not higher on this list is because, I mean, your competition is Zef, fellas, and when he's literally in the GOAT conversation, as it is of characters in this game, you're going to

be put pretty dang low on this list, even if you do a heck of a lot of damage. To be honest though, I actually, this now, now, now don't quote me on this, do not clip this out of context, but with all these things considered, she's actually not

that bad of a character right now. She's seriously decent, but she's nothing more than that, and that's all you're going to get out of me, Luna mains. So, I mean, cherish it while you can. This will maybe be the only thing I say nice about your

character for the next two years moving on to another furry friend I should say is Felix and Felix is really struggling right now to really get anything going for him because it's really hard for him to get in range against a Hudson depending on the

environment and if a Hudson is playing somewhat correctly you really shouldn't ever be able to get close to a Hudson unless you have your ultimate and at that point hopefully you hit a really good engage and the Oath doesn't bash your alt and just stop you in place um but a lot of

Oaths can't really do that yet which is why I have him a little bit higher than everyone else below him that being said I mean with all these things with a Felix yes the anti-heal that you can apply yes the ultimate that you can get

in pretty easily compared to other characters Oath is still a better option cuz Oath can really hard counter this the main thing with Felix is that he's still just really good at pub stomping people so that's something to know moving on to the next character though

we have Bishop who used to be a character that I thought was really really good and I still think she is but what's crazy to me is that Bishops are really underperforming right now I haven't really ran into a Bishop and this is no flame that gave me a lot of

troubles and ranks compared to other characters I don't think she's necessarily bad but because Hudson is being over utilized and it's really hard for Bishops to get in for punches she's been underperforming as a result now know because of all these different

things and because the Hudson is just in the game and the dashes aren't doing as well as they did and the Hover Wings got nerfed, it's just hard to close the distance on this character when you're getting beamed. So that's kind of why I'm

putting this character lower. I don't think she's necessarily in a bad spot, I just think other characters are in an overpowered spot. Um, which makes me feel weird for putting her this low, but I mean that's just kind of how it be, right?

Now for you're a Bishop player, but now we have Void and Void is next up because he's just so difficult. And because of is for the average player, I think most Void players are just struggling to get things to work because they're still learning how their character works and

if there is one character that I get trolled by in ranked the most, it is probably a friendly Void that is learning the character. And that's no flame because eventually you're going to be the goats of this game and I'm going to be praising you for being the goats.

That's just absolutely owning teams, but as of right now I think people are still trying to get their thumb down on the character, try to learn him to the point where it's like, you know, there's just better characters to be playing for early success right now. That being said,

I still think that like Void free swaps are pretty good, but then you're also just picking up a Celeste who's pretty bad against Hudson right now. So for for all things considered, unless you're like Nidhog or someone else that plays Void consistently every day, there's probably

better options for you, but you know what, who cares? Because you know what, Void is fun. Void is fun, so have fun. If this was a fun tier list, Void would probably be S tier. But alright, moving on to Jyn. Jyn used to be a character that

I rated pretty darn low, but in my opinion, I think Jyn is probably in the best spot in terms of being a healthy Hunter. He's in the best spot he could absolutely be right now, cuz he's really strong in the right hands, in the right

situation, but he doesn't feel like dog [ __ ] to play against. He actually feels pretty darn fun to play against too because of this new right-click buff that he just got yesterday. Now that his dagger is actually thrown out much faster, it allows him to get on top of

specifically Hudson really fast once you get to that threshold where you can do execution damage. And I'll tell you, if you can just execute the brawl, or not the brawl, if you can just execute the Hudson right at the start of a fight, you, you are going to carry games for your

team. That being said, I think there's a better character that we'll talk about at the very end of this video to do this specific thing. But okay, now we're looking at the Shiv buffs which make her a little bit of a better character, but

the thing is is that she still struggles to close the distance against the Hudson. Now, if you play really smart, you probably will frag out on Shiv, but the thing is the way Shiv's been played for a while is the very pub stomp. You just

absolutely click the enemy again and again and again it's super just can you aim better Shiv now because Hudson has such a big hit box and it's it's so easy to hit the shots and you'll get punished if you just hit shots it's weird because

she kind of shifted in focus on how she needs to be focusing what her uh main like ability is that you need to be able to play her you need to be able to understand how to approach fights approaching fights with jump pads approaching fights with a dagger behind

you and maybe a power to get you in get some damage pop out those kind of things with Shiv I think or more important than am I hitting a cartwheel and power every single shot at least right now for the character which I think that'll change

once some other characters get nerfed and she can start having a little bit of more pop off moments right now but for the time being I think she's a little bit more of a methodical character which I never thought she would get to this point um but she absolutely does right

now so moving on to Ghost the Ghost Buffs I mean we're just talking about all the characters that got buffed um also make this character a whole lot better the thing is that contrasts the Buffs for Ghost compared to these other characters is I don't think that's

what's making him a better character now I think what is making Ghost good and specifically the only thing that makes Ghost even playable is his amp laser build which allows him to just keep blasting a laser at people across the map late game circles and just continue

to pressure them and the reason why I think that is better than it was in the past is because Hudson is just such a beefy character that if you're missing your uh Amplified Beam at people, specifically Hudson, if you're missing a Hudson with beam, maybe we shouldn't play.

Ghost now, if you are, you're going to absolutely poke the ever-loving heck out of him and if they don't have a Ze or an Oath, I mean, he's just going to die over time, there's there's no option for him, so it's going to make the fight easier

for your team and overall just get more out of this character um if you're hitting that amplifier build, but now we're moving into characters that I think are seriously meta-defining, so we're going to start off with one that's a little bit more difficult which is

Brawl. Uh, he's very hard to play right now, but if you can play him correctly, you can absolutely shut down a Hudson. If not a Hudson, you can shut down the Oath that is enabling the Hudson and he's one of the only melee characters that can

actually get close right now, specifically because of his tether, and also if you pair him with a Ze, you can literally go across the map at Mach 10. It is absolutely fun, I've been doing it with Lemur a lot on streams, so because

of that I think Brawl can be very strong, but you need to be good with Brawl and just like Jyn, just like some of other characters we were talking about before, Brawl is just generally a pretty hard character to pull off, so proceed with caution, but if you like the character, go

off and have some fun just like with Jin, moving on to Myth. Myth is kind of the same idea as Braw, except a lot more conceited. The main idea with Myth is that she just destroys the Oath Shield super fast because she does, I believe, 

it's explosive damage. I don't know exactly what type of damage it is, but she melts shields better as herself compared to other characters because of that. It's going to really allow your team to open up the fight and maybe find some more damage on this Hudson. The Oath 

is going to have to back off. It's going to give the Hudson a little bit more to think about on top of that. After you break that Oath Shield, the knockback on Myth's R can actually take away the Huey's overheat, which is really nice 

because then he's going to start doing less damage, start doing less healing with his omnivamp, blah blah blah. It's just going to, like, the thing with Myth here I want you to understand is she also has anti-heal as well. The whole 

thing with Myth is just to shut down the Hudson over time. The problem is is that literally every character that we're talking about right now is harder than Hudson because Hudson, no hate to Hudson players, might be one of the easiest characters in the game, but because of 

that there's a lot of competencies that you need to learn to beat the Hudson that we aren't there yet because the game literally has been out for a week. So I understand, I understand why people are struggling against the Hudson, but understand that there's other characters 

that are in this tier that we're talking about right now that are actually really good at defeating the Hudson so on top of this myth domination we also have Jewel who absolutely destroys Huie as well because people love to stack when they are in the Hudson comp the whole

idea is that you want to have your Hudson you want to have an Oath you want to have a Ze and you just want to enable this guy to do as much damage as possible over time Jewel likes when people are stacked because she can

continue to get orbs she can continue to dash through enemies and because of that she'll just dash through everyone and everyone is dead now here's the thing the the main reason why it's hard for the Jewel is because what's in front of the Jewel the whole time an Oath Shield

what does Oath counter Jewel specifically on top of a lot of other characters but Jewel has a very hard time against an Oath Shield the thing is for most players it was only a matter of time until that Oath Shield goes down and then you can just absolutely pop off

going back and forth against better players it's going to be a little bit harder to do so but it's still the same idea do you have a Ghost do you have a Brawl do you have a Myth wait until that Shield goes down tell your

team to shoot the shield once the Shield is down it is your time to just go ding ding ding ding bam and just kill everyone I mean we were doing that in scrims and it it worked out very well for us the main thing is that this is a

hard thing to do, it's much harder to play characters like Jewel, Myth, and Brawl compared to a Hudson, who's just pressing left click. But just because it's more difficult doesn't mean it's worse, it actually could be better. I just think the reason why I have this below that

composition is because at the end of the day the minimum risk for the highest reward is the Hudson comp, and that's realistically what people are running in rank. So now that we've actually discussed that, let's talk about each of the characters in the Hudson comp and

maybe one outlier that people are kind of sleeping on on top of the Jewel. Let's start all this off with Oath. Oath has been at the top of the meta for quite a while now because he's just so oppressive for so many different characters. He can just completely shut

down people and they don't get to play the game. That being said, I think because Hudson is a lot stronger, it's a lot harder to play Oath because you have to be a lot more considerate about your Shield charge and realistically what

you're doing with that. And also on top of that, it's actually starting to make me want to change the build that I'm running because so many people are running Hudson. So because you have to adapt right now in the meta with Oath, I think he's actually a little bit

harder than people what people give credit for. That being said, the Shield is super nice to just keep your team alive on top of your Huey. The longer the Huey shoots, the longer more damage he does, and the easier the fight is to win stuff.

that we've already discussed earlier in this list the thing is is that I don't think the Huey comp is the best comp I've said this before I just think it's the most accessible and Oath is what makes it more accessible for players because then your Huey doesn't

need to worry about positioning your Huey just needs to worry about I'm behind my Oath my Oath is making space for me I'm pressing left click and things go boom that is realistically what is the meta right now for most players so that's why Oath is so strong now the

next one that I think could be the Thanos God character is Zeph Zeph is just crazy good with both of the comps that are really good right now those two comps being the Honey comp that I've not stopped been yapping your ear off about all

video today and also the comp that likes to surround that Huey comp to not let Huey just shoot from one angle to force this guy to think a little bit I'm talking Brawls and Myths and Jewels Zeph does really good with that because remember

what does the Huey comp want to do they want to stack together what does that mean Zeph's going to get easier nades on you that's why Zeph is just so darn strong right now he also has great healing he has great self peel mobility

he is just an all-round great character right now he is a little bit more difficult to play than what people give him that being said I still think he is absolutely crazy and I think he might be unironically the only must-pick in the

game right now. Now that might be biased because I do play a lot of Z right now, but seriously, the games that I play Z versus the games that I do not play Z, you can tell there is a clear difference in difficulty in how you can approach

every fight in the game, but we've gotten to this point in the list, it's time to talk about Huie. A big Huie even, and the thing is is the reason why Huie is so on top of this list is because Huie is just

easy to play because you, you don't need to know really what's going on. All you need to do is press left click and you're getting a lot of value. Now the thing is is that I think as the player base develops, as players learn more about the

game, he is going to go down in value because there's just so many things you can do to this guy to make his life difficult. We, as a player base, because the game is so new, are just not ready to deal with it yet. The whole idea against

the Hudson is to just surround him from so many angles and force out his mobility, which now because of the nerfs, now Hudson actually has a weakness because his mobility got nerfed. So when you do surround him, it's going to feel a lot more impactful than it did when the

game first released. Because of this, I'm saying, and I again, I'm going to stand on business here, I think Hudson is overplayed, I think he's overhyped, I still think he's a little overtuned and very good, definitely worthy of being in

The A tier, High B tier, but once people learn to play these new characters like Juel, Myth, and all and Kingpin, you're going to see that Hudson is going to struggle. So I did just talk about one character there, I don't know if you guys

all hit heard it, but Kingpin was referenced and he hasn't been talked about today. And that is because I believe, and I'm standing on business here, it's a hot take, I think Kingpin is the best character to play in ranked right now. Is he difficult to an extent?

Yes, if you want to play him at the highest level, very difficult. In beginner queues though, he is that perfect dose of just difficult enough that you're you're not going to struggle too much. Reason being though why Kingpin is good, there's two reasons. Step one, watch

Phenom XX on Twitch and watch the amplifier build that he is running right now. Add that on top with invis, which is broken and needs to get changed, and it's just absolutely insane and just watch as it allows him to just go Thanos mode

and fights. I'm telling you this dude is dashing from the top left of a fight on your screen all the way around to the bottom right, comes behind you, slams your oath and Hudson, and everything dies. Now here's the thing, if you don't want to

run that build, guess what you can do as well? You can just hook the Hudson that is absolutely destroying your team, and what are you going to do? You're going to hook the Hudson, you're going to slam him, and your whole team is going to nuke him.

now you don't have to deal with Hudson anymore you have a 4V3 without the quote unquote broken character and life is just easy so in my opinion if you really want if you were really adamant about this game and you want a character

to invest in that's going to be good for the next month or two I truly believe that Kingpin is your guy I believe that Kingpin is going to be that character in a solo queue duo queue environment in squads Kingpin is the character that can just

solo carry games because every single fight you were always going to get a pick if you hit a hook realistically with the current iteration of how much damage he can do so maybe it's a hot take maybe I'm standing on business but I'm telling you some of you are going to

try Kingpin you're going to try him for a week you're going to get super good at him and then you're going to realize wait now I understand why TLD is not running Hudson and scrims maybe we are sleeping on this Kingpin character but

hey I know I'm going to get roasted for this it is what it is but you know you win some and you lose some so so hopefully I can get this video out by Thanksgiving and I just wanted to say I'm so thankful and grateful that you
