Well, today there were really big news. Kim Dantae, the man of the dawn, is here. First of all, in the early part of the market, the Nasdaq structure and the Nvidia structure moved dramatically as they mobilized. In fact, just by seeing this, I thought about just filming up to this point because in the latter part of the market, there was a meeting of the FOMC to decide on the known interest rates. I didn't think there would be any interesting stories here, it seemed boring. So I debated whether to film this or not, but in the end, I filmed both. Anyway, Nasdaq is currently up by 2.78%, showing a really dramatic increase, rising with a strong energy as if mocking the fall from yesterday. And at the center of it all is Nvidia. Why Nvidia had to become the protagonist of the market today can only be explained by talking about Nvidia's structure first, and then the FOMC.

What other stories were there? Of course, it's boring, but let's do it. Well, yesterday NVIDIA had a sharp drop, and a rescue team was dispatched to rescue NVIDIA. Twelve rescue teams are dispatched, and NVIDIA is currently up by 12% as of now. Let's look at the aspects of the rescue team one by one. First, how did Kim Dantae rescue NVIDIA? Is there anything special? I created a video stating that NVIDIA was falling, creating a reversal of fortunes, and rescued NVIDIA from the swamp. Usually, when I say there is a problem, the opposite happens, so today NVIDIA was rescued like this. And the second rescue team is Microsoft. Microsoft announced its earnings last night for the second quarter, and at first glance, overall, for the quarter...

The performance itself was quite good, but now let's talk about the guidance. So, the guidance that suggests what we might become in the future was a bit disappointing, to be honest. Also, there were some slightly disappointing results related to the cloud, and the disappointing guidance. Because of these things, after the market closed yesterday, Microsoft announced its performance. After the performance announcement, in the after-market, there was a moment when it dropped by 6% or 7%, but as of today, it has recovered a bit, reducing the decline. However, regardless of Microsoft's stock price and its performance, ultimately, it is crucial to see what kind of conversation a tech giant like Microsoft is having with the market, especially regarding AI. Therefore, in relation to AI, what Microsoft is thinking and planning for future investments in AI infrastructure is very important.

I was wondering how much willingness there is to invest money in these things in the market. To sum it up, Microsoft still thinks AI is lacking and showed willingness to spend more money. In detail, if we look at a few things, when talking about Azure, Microsoft's cloud service, they mentioned that the demand is continuously exceeding the capacity. They mentioned that the demand for AI-related services on Azure is huge. Here too, in terms of AI, there is still a shortage of capacity to meet all the demand. They also mentioned constraints on AI capacity. Throughout the conference call, Microsoft's management kept saying that our demand for AI is very high, but our capacity is insufficient, so we need to invest more quickly.

They kept talking about doing a lot more and needing to invest a lot more, so in this quarter, for example, Microsoft, or Capex, in other words, they spent a tremendous amount of money to buy computers or build data centers. They spent nearly $19 billion now, so it seems they spent about 26 trillion won. Compared to the same period last year, it's 78%, and compared to the previous quarter, it's 36%. Just by looking at this graph, you can see how much Microsoft is investing in artificial intelligence. As I mentioned, Microsoft keeps saying they will continue to invest in artificial intelligence. They have been investing diligently so far, and they will continue to invest more in the future because the demand is very high, and our capabilities are insufficient. They communicated consistently that they will continue to invest more.

Microsoft continues to invest in artificial intelligence for the future, and if they say they are investing, where will the investment flow? Right to NVIDIA. So, the second structure I'm talking about is Microsoft, and that's the reason. In addition, when we talk a little more about Microsoft's performance, it is said that they are making good money in artificial intelligence. This was also mentioned in the performance announcement. Therefore, Microsoft 365 Copilot users have increased by 60% compared to the previous quarter, or more than a million license customers have more than doubled compared to the previous quarter. Furthermore, there is something called GitHub Copilot, which is a tool that helps with coding when coding. These enterprise accounts are used in over 37,000 organizations and by over a million users. Just for your information, I also use GitHub Copilot.

From the perspective of what I saw, once you write this, you can't go back. And in Nvidia's third-quarter results, there is Morgan Stanley. What did Morgan Stanley say? Suddenly, when Nvidia plummeted, they immediately put up a report. You might not see it well at the top here, but it says, Moving Nvidia back to the post-cell of cell off. So, after a huge strong selling pressure ended, Nvidia has become our top pick again. That's the kind of report. So, Morgan Stanley said Nvidia is our top pick, our most preferred stock. So, there is no change in performance or target price, but recently, the selling pressure has been too severe. So, they said it seems like a good buying opportunity, mentioning concerns about a decrease in spending on AI-related infrastructure like Cerebras.

However, in their view, it is not like that in reality. Short-term and long-term strong data points continue to be heard, good news, and numbers keep coming out. NVIDIA will compete with other companies, other AI semiconductor companies, and there are concerns that it will lose market share. They judge that such competitive concerns have been overestimated, saying that Morgan Stanley is giving strength to NVIDIA and structuring NVIDIA. And the fourth structure being built is Ms. Nancy Pelosi. She is now the Speaker of the House, and she actively trades stocks. But when Ms. Nancy Pelosi says to buy or sell, she has made tremendous profits so far. I don't know if this is okay, but in any case, a new disclosure was made this time on July 26th.

The timing feels somewhat good, a little like when the recent Nasdaq took a bit of a downturn, that's when hope for Nvidia was shown. Nvidia, how much is it worth? It's almost tens of billions, right? We are now going to buy tens of billions worth of Nvidia shares, and Microsoft sold 5,000 shares. So, when you hear this, you might feel like you should buy Nvidia and sell Microsoft, right? Anyway, with the power of four members of the structure, Nvidia has now received the structure. Also, there was an FOMC meeting. It's an event where high-ranking officials from the Federal Reserve in the U.S. gather to decide on interest rates, which in turn affects the dollar and stock prices. So, we always watch this event with a prayerful heart. Today was a bit boring. Firstly, the statement mentioned that the benchmark interest rate was maintained.

So, at 5.2%, the market expectation remained the same at 5.50%. Now, Kim Powell came out and held a press conference. Just to note, there is a lot of interpretation and speculation, so you may need to filter it out, but for now, let's hear what Kim Powell has to say instead of Jerome Powell. Good Kim. How will interest rates be raised? Will it be abruptly or slowly? At this stage, we cannot discuss it. If inflation continues to decrease or moves in line with expectations, and if growth remains quite robust while the labor market stays consistent with its current state, we may consider raising interest rates at the September meeting. We are considering scenarios from not raising interest rates to raising them multiple times. We are observing disinflation in a broad sense, this disinflation.

The rate of inflation is slowing down. Recently, what did Trump say? He mentioned that the central bank should not raise interest rates close to the election, putting pressure on Jerome Powell. Regarding this, there was a question about what Jerome Powell thought. How did Jerome Powell respond? He said, We do not use our policy tools to support or oppose any party, politician, or specific political outcome. In simple terms, ignore whatever Trump said. In conclusion, we will not listen to Trump's words. I don't know what Trump said; I don't care. We, the central bank, do not know about those things; we are not a political group. We will stick to principles like this.

I mentioned that we will do it, and when I mentioned it slightly, the market showed a slightly positive response. Because there was concern that due to pressure from Trump, we might not adjust interest rates. There was a worry that we might not adjust interest rates. Regardless of that, there was a feeling that interest rates might be possible. Therefore, the market showed a slightly positive response. There was actually a discussion about adjusting interest rates in this meeting. As you know, the majority supported not adjusting interest rates in this meeting. The time for interest rates is approaching. Then, I will step down, Mr. Powell said in the latter part. He said something like interest rates are approaching. People are wondering what will happen with interest rates in the future. Could you at least give us some information about this?

There was also a feeling like this, and when I watched it, I thought today Powell was Powell again. What I mean is, he hardly gave a proper answer. If it was going to be like this, why even have a Q&A? For someone like me, an economics YouTuber, he should throw out some sources. I was tired from filming videos in the early morning, but a clear message, something impactful, needs to be delivered quickly. But there was none of that at all. And, well, at least on a human level, I thought he would signal the next interest rate quite strongly, but honestly, even that signal was quite vague and ambiguous. I felt that it was slightly biased, to be honest. Because he was too ambiguous about the interest rate cut in September. Originally, it was supposed to happen.

I once gave a slight signal like this before, but I don't really know well, and since artificial intelligence is alive, there was this kind of atmosphere. One last thing related to Trump's remarks, in fact, Powell's position now is to maintain political neutrality. However, it's natural to talk like that at a press conference, right? From Powell's perspective, wouldn't it be pressured to slightly hint at a rate cut in September and talk ambiguously? Suddenly, the thought comes to mind again at the end that maybe Powell is communicating ambiguously about a rate cut in September because of Trump, isn't it? The thought suddenly arises that perhaps it's because of Trump's pressure. We should also consider this as one variable. In the end, I suddenly think that we should consider these things.
