Welcome to the funeral, and before we get started, we talk about chapter three, I want to make sure that you guys understand that um, my goal is to make sure this page, this audiobook of the Superior Man, goes at least to ten thousand men. That's my

goal. It may be a big goal to you, maybe a small goal, but that's my goal, that by July 15th of 2023, I want to at least touch the lives of ten thousand men. The only way I know that I have is you have

to like and you have to subscribe. So make sure that you like and subscribe this video, that way I know that I'm reaching my goal. Alright, here we go for chapter three. The film, that's what I call it, but it's chapter three. Live as if your father is

dead now. That's something. Just breathe. [Music] Live as if your father is dead now. This chapter is focused on not having the disapproval of your fathers, without his stare, without his glare, without his subtle disapproving of what you may be doing in life.

Just imagine for three days that he died or remember when he did die. It's what the book is talking about. And in this period, you need to take three days, and everything that you wanted to do but you held off because you didn't want to disappoint your

fathers, do that thing. Give yourself a chance to be the man that you were created to be without anyone uh, looking over your shoulder, without the thought that you're disappointing someone, especially your father. Alright, so with that said, the next part that I want to make sure that

I break up uh because I'm sure there's a lot of men that's like me who did not have a father so when I took notes on it because I want to make sure that I internalize it would I continue to live the way I live trying to prove

to them that I didn't need them so some of us have fathers who just never played a part in our lives or fathers who walked out and because of that I built on the inside of me uh a desire to prove them wrong to show them and to make them regret not being a

part of my life um just like an NBA star could easily get in the NBA get the big check stand up there and say I want to thank mama and then all of a sudden the ones who want who should have been in their life all of a sudden start showing up uh

but I wanted them to regret it that's my thing I wanted them to know that I made it without you that I did all of this and I didn't need your help I did need your advice I didn't need your hand so when I say this

is a funeral we're gonna put those things behind us because this is for the men that created us but they may not have shaped us and they may not have contributed to our lives but still the influence of wanting them or the disapproval that we have towards them or

them towards us we have to put those things aside and let's focus on just being the men that we want to be despite trying to prove somebody wrong stop thinking and living in a place that you want them to regret not being in your life you want them to regret not being a

part of your life and you're growing up and seeing your kids and becoming uh the man that you are and we'll live out of that place but this chapter of the book to become the superior man that we are destined to be, we have to put father

issues to the side. So if your father is alive, he asks that you take three days, focus on the things that you want to do, things that you would have done, didn't have his disapproval. All right? So for those who have fathers, that's the quest, and I'm gonna put in my

second um if you did not have a father, if he did not show up in your life, let's not try to focus on proving them wrong. Let's just focus on us and the Legacy that we plan on building if they never show up, if they never come, or if they

show up at the Finish Line, either way we are men of character, of class, sophisticated, and we don't need their approval to be the man that we are destined to become. So this is chapter three um and I talked about myself and how I

secretly uh wanted them to regret disowning me uh the family I never met, I don't know one of their names, I don't even know his name, you know, first middle and like I have no clue, but at the end of the day that doesn't stop me

from being a man because at the end of the day I'm in this world and I have purpose and I have a passion and I have a dream despite whoever created you, we have goals that were set for us, so let's accomplish those things and let's take
