YouTube is really hard. No matter how many videos of success you will see, how many people getting millions upon millions of views. When you start doing this, you will quickly realize that it is actually very difficult. And usually, what you see is people either in the very beginning of the journey or manure close to the end where they're already successful. And with this video, I want to show you what it's like to be an actual growing YouTube channel and more or less in the beginning of its success. I will do it in the quotes. So with this video, I'm going to be showing you how I did in the year of 2022, how much money I made, how many views I gained, how many subscribers I'm in, watch time, and etc., etc. Everything will be just in this one video to just show you how well I did it. And of course, I will be telling you about more or less about my strategies and what it takes to be where I am right now. And no, I'm not afraid to share this.

because I know the majority of people won't be replicating this because they won't be able to replicate what I can do. So yeah, without further ado, let's just get it done. And you know what? That's with every single one of my videos. I'm showing you the older results, all the results right away. And yep, these are my results. You are seeing this on the screen right now. I gained 3.4 million views in the year 2022. I gained 178,000 hours of watch time, 10,000 subscribers, and more than eight and a half thousand dollars made in revenue. So if you just wanted to see that, well yep, that's it. Thank you for coming by and see ya. But let me just explain these numbers and what do they mean, and are they good, are they not, or etc. etc. Just to give you an understanding where I was at the beginning of the journey. In the beginning of 2022, I was just over a thousand subscribers. It had thousands or

three thousand. It was not that much. It was not that big of a number. And the year 2022, 10x this number. Basically, more than 500 growth in the views, around 400 growth in watch time. Well, you see, 10,000 subscribers and more than 500 growth in the revenue earned. And as you can see, but I am on the growth slope more or less. It's a very slow but very stable growth as well. But why it's not the fast and why it's the slope is not that big. As you can see, the real slope, the real numbers from the big in the March and compared to like in November. It's not that big of a difference, maybe only double with a 10x subscribers. Why is happening like that? And if you're interested in an audience information, these are my returning against my new viewers. And this is the revenue made in each month. So, is are those are those numbers good and are those bad, etc. So, what does this mean? This means that I

this all these numbers means that my channel is slowly, very slowly growing. And you might think that increased number of subscribers means that I need to gain immediate amount of views while I upload the videos, but it does not work that way. People are subscribing for one or two videos, but they might not be watching all of my videos because not all of my videos might be interesting to them. They might be interested in the reviews for the certain series but might not be interested in my review of maybe tackle or anything else. So yeah, not that does not mean that all of my subscribers will watch all of my videos all the time, and I know that, and you should know that as well. Also, the numbers that you don't see here are of course money made from sponsors, which is there to be fair. And I would say that I made maybe a little bit more from sponsors than I made from the bad science themselves. So just I cannot give you exact numbers, so just give you a very rough numbers to think about. And yes, you don't need very intrusive.

sponsors to just made good money. You don't need to be promoting great Channel Legends in every single video to make money on YouTube. If you do, you will make a lot of money, but you should also keep your dignity, I guess. And if you're interested, yes, I was offered to promote Ray Channel Legends. That's just that. So, what was my strategy during an entire year? Well, just to try to predict what videos you might want to watch and might want to see, and just upload videos about that. That's just it. The simplest thing that I was doing is just watching what games are going on sales, and if I have played this game more or less recently, then I would just review this game. If I had to play this game recently, or I hadn't played it at all, I would play that, would complete it, and then I would do a review. And with this, I was gaining views, and all the spicy reviews you were seeing in My Views are actually coming from the sales, but at least the majority of them. None of my videos went

viral majority of uses coming from a search. People actively searching for my videos and not just stumbling upon my videos. So, all the growth is coming from very calculated videos made, and some of them, and only some of them, are the videos that I just wanted to make because this was the games that I wanted to play, and just I played it and just made a review about it. This time, many of them are not the biggest games ever, but at least these are the games that I enjoyed, and I'm pretty sure some of you enjoyed it as well. But a lot of YouTubers are not telling you while doing videos like that is what it actually takes to make this amount of views or maybe this amount of money, and I will tell you what it is. In the year 2022, I made 100, 120 pieces of content. Many of them are shorts, but at least 70 percent of them are full-length videos. So, that's what it takes, and it's nowhere near the results that I actually wanted and they actually want right now.

120 videos. This is a video at least every third day, and I won't actually change this this year, but probably I won't be able because I really don't have that much free time because, yeah, there's no such thing as that much free time, at least not in my. So what you should do to get to these results, keep on making videos. 99% of your videos in the beginning will be trash, but don't worry about that. You will not be able to make good videos until unless you make trash in the beginning. It took a few hundred videos for me to make the first thousand subscribers, and only after that I started actually gaining distraction and momentum. There were so many mistakes made in the beginning that especially the and the special, the biggest mistake was not looking at this realistically, and the reality is that this is an incredibly competitive niche at the low level, but not as much as media, not but not as much as medium and high levels. Yes, you will be shocked that it's not actually that competitive on my level 10.

000 subscribers and upwards. Why do I say that? Well, because every kid wants to be a gaming YouTuber, but not every kid actually gets to 10,000 subscribers, and they usually abandon everything when they don't gain 100 subscribers in their first videos. That's just how the reality works. Look at this as a job, but the job that you enjoy. Have fun from it. If you're tired, take some rest, and just keep on doing it, and yep, success will come. Yes, yes, my channel is nowhere near to be called successful, but at least I am getting there. And maybe by the end of 2023, if I will keep on working, and if I'll keep on writing, and I will keep on releasing better and better videos, maybe I will get my first silver plaque. And hopefully, one day, we will be able to celebrate your silver plaque as well together. Well, this will be what they think for me.
