There's a lot of superhero movies out there, but only a few of them have some epic training montages. And one of them is The Batman training sequence. So today we're going to be trying his same exercise with the same amount of weight to see if we can do it.

And we're going to be doing it alongside a very special guest: Wayne himself, the Batman. What? Who are you? Duke Wayne, Duke Wayne, third cousin of Bruce. Close enough! In Batman's training montage, the first thing he did was take a big mallet and hit a tractor tire as many times as he can. And he did it till failure. So we're going to be seeing how many times we can hit this tire.

That's a criminal you're fighting, not... I don't kill, I just beat until you're almost dead. Don't have my morals, man. I'm trying to hit where it had maximum bounce back. Two or three. Wow, that's a good workout. A lot of cardiovascular strength in that one. My muscles weren't really fatiguing, but man, I was running out of breath big time. All right, 216. Switching to right-handed felt damn...

awkward. I'm going to go pass out over there. Duke Wayne is Frank Miller's The Dark Knight. Yeah, at 63 years old, still kicking ass. Yeah, that's good cardio. The next exercise Batman performed in the movie was weighted chin-ups, specifically with 180 pounds. That's what it is. So we're going to be doing body weight, 75 pounds, and finally, we're going to see if we can chin up with a 150 pounds wrapped around our waist. What do you think, Duke Wayne? I think I might be able

to do a body weight, I think you will too. This man is deceiving, much like Batman himself. You don't think he can do it because he actually doesn't have super powers, he just has grit. Yeah, and a cool black suit and a cool black car and a cool

black plane and a cool black cycle, and that you have none of, but he does have grit. Yeah, who are you Batman? He owns every copy of Prince's Batman vinyl record, no one wanted. This is not a billion dollar half rack by the way.

Got the warm-up done with the body weight, now we're going to be moving on to 75 pounds. Oh yeah, wow, that's too heavy, I'm gonna just walk with it. That's actually what Duke Wayne built these for, it's intimidation. When you see a guy in

the middle of the night with bat balls hanging down swinging around, you run for your life. Yeah, it's so good. Oh oh, 150 pounds is no joke. In the movie Batman was pushing a weighted sled with 360 pounds with chains. We've got him beat by five pounds. We got

365 pounds plus our chain. This is another invention courtesy of Duke Wayne. This is actually the bat sled, so it was built for snow. This was one of Bruce Wayne's toys that he donated to Duke Wayne. Good job [ __ ] I get some gripe.

You're almost there. Wow, is that a leg workout or what? It's very basic, but it makes you feel damn good. Okay, ready? There you go. One of the greatest things about Batman is he is human. He has no superhuman ability, so the struggle is real, and it reminds us that he's

moral that's hard yeah Batman works alone buff dudes work together united we stand divided we fall I think wait a second getting the tractor tire ready the same one we beat with the mallet and now we're gonna be pulling it so we wrapped a rope around

it we're gonna be putting it into place it has water in it too by the way I'm excited about this one all these exercises are really cool with the sled push now the tire pull I mean you gotta hit the Bruce Wayne he's a billionaire but man

he knows how to throw down with the rest of us go oh here's my chance to show Bruce that I'm worthy come on wow come on you got it let's go let's go wow you're making great time you got it you got it let's

go here we go tug of war let's go there we go relax the legs there we go [Music] wow that tire is heavy I have a new bat I just want to let you know Duke Wayne yeah I'm actually Bruce Wayne and you

are worthy yes thank you now can you go clean my toilet because you took a bat [ __ ] oh definitely I'm clean with your tongue we're onto the second to last exercise and now we're entering buff dude territory it's gonna be the classic

dumbbell flat press we're gonna see how many reps each one of us could do and I got to say so far this is an excellent program I really like the way those designed me too and we've got to use a bench during this exercise

and again we have another piece of DIY equipment built by Duke Wayne [Music] Good job man, that was tough. I mean, after all the stuff we've done, you were able to punch out 35 reps. That's batshit crazy. Now I get the advantage here now I'm

going second, so 35 is the number to beat. Let's see if I can do it. Starting with one. Good job. I thought you're going to try to get to my age, 60. 23 to go. That you can try that. Oh no, I don't know. Can Duke Wayne do it? I'm

going to keep my gloves on because they, I don't know, I feel closer to Bruce that way, and Bruce gives me inner strength that I've never had before. Let's do it. Here we go. One, two, three [Music] [Music]

Here we go [Music] Come on [Music] Three [Music] Wow, the gloves did help. I'll have to say they're his biggest asset, his hands. I have bag bowling in there now. Works really well. Yeah, bat home babe. Yeah, so far this has been an amazing training

montage. All these exercises have been awesome, but there's one left, there is, and it's the back squat with 765 pounds. You know, I got to be honest, I know I can't squat that much, so I'm out. And I don't blame you. I can't either.

and really, not many people on earth can perform such a feat. How is that possible? Because I'm Duke Wayne [ __ ]
