SpaceX has a new valuation of $210 billion, and that's a record for an American private company. It's based on its latest tender offer. That's where a company, in this case SpaceX, allows employees and other insiders to sell shares privately to private investors. So back at the end of 2023, we reported at Bloomberg, based on $97 a share in a tender, that SpaceX had a valuation of $180 billion. The share price has jumped to $112 a piece, giving you that $210 billion valuation. SpaceX is not the most valuable private company in the world, that's ByteDance, the parent of TikTok, but it's a hell of a jump. And so many of you have reached out and said, well, I want to be a shareholder of SpaceX, I want some of those private shares, how do I do it? The answer is, well, work at SpaceX, get stock as part of your comp, but you'd have to be there for quite a long time. You could phone Elon Musk, you could phone the CFO if you know them, or

you could try and get in on one of these tender rounds if you're a VC or another private inv. but it's so hard to do. the anticipation is that SpaceX will spin off staring its satellite unit in an IPO down the line. so you want to get hold of some shares now before that happens. which is easier said than done.
