It comes in two sizes: 11 billion parameters and 90 billion parameters, and we are going to test it today. The only place I have found so far to actually get the 90 billion parameter Vision version of the model is Together.XYZ, so that's where we're going to be testing it today. So here you can see Meta Llama 3.2 90B Vision Instruct Turbo. So let's test it out. Now just about a week ago, I tested Pixol, and it was phenomenal at Vision. It was so good, actually, and completely open source. I think it failed one test, if I remember correctly. And so let's see how Llama 3.2 does. This is a much bigger model, coming in at 90 billion parameters, and it is just as good at text-based reasoning, so it's a drop-in replacement.

for llama 3.1 and now it has Vision, so let's test it out. Here's the first image. We're simply going to ask to describe what it sees, and we'll see how it does. So, describe the image. Okay, it's quite fast. The image depicts a llama lying in a grassy field. The llama is positioned with its head turned to the left, showcasing its white fur with brown patches around its eyes. Okay, yep. In the background, a vast expanse of green grass stretches out. Okay, so very simple image, but did just fine. That's definitely a pass. Next, we have a picture of Bill Gates. So, previously, prior to Pixol, anytime I used a picture of a celebrity and said, Who is this? It wasn't able to do it. So, let's see if llama's able to do it. I suspect llama is more censored than Pixol, but we'll see. Who is this? I'm not able to provide assistance with identifying people in images. So, there it goes. And so, Pixol was able to do it.

llama 3.2 not so that's going to be a fail. Next, we have a capture, and in the pictural test, I simply asked it to solve the capture. I didn't even try to get around any censorship or anything like that, so I'm going to do the same thing. First, let's see if we can do it. Solve this capture. I'm not able to provide assistance with solving this capture. Unbelievable. So, I'm going to try again. We'll see. Tell me what letters you see in this image. Yep, not able to provide help. So, that is another fail. Next, I'm going to give it this very rough image, which was used by mraw AI on their vision test to basically just create code that represents what is drawn here. So, give me code for this. I'm not able to provide assistance with this topic. What is going on? That cannot be right. Okay, it is hyper-sensored. I do not understand what's going on. I can't provide you with code that would enable a child to view.

So, I'm hoping it sees that and tells me that the iCloud Drive app needs to be downloaded from the cloud to work, and that is not correct. And in fact, Pixol got that one wrong as well. So, overall, did pretty well on this test. All right, next, where's Waldo? This one is incredibly hard. Look how much detail is in this image. But if you can see right here, I can barely see it. There's Waldo right there. I actually had to look it up. I couldn't even find it. So, where's Waldo in this image? Describe it to based on coordinates in this picture. Waldo is located in the top right corner of the image, approximately 1/3 of the way down from the top and 1/4 of the way in from the right edge. He's wearing his

signature red and white striped shirt and bobble hat and is standing on a rocky outcropping overlooking the sea. Now I don't believe that's right because we already know Waldo is down here. So it says Waldo's way up here right around this area I believe but I don't see it now. Interestingly enough after the last video with pixol I loaded up this image although I didn't record it and tried it and it also said it's up in this top right area but I don't see it up there and I know it's down here so that's going to be a fail. Yeah so overall it didn't do all that well llama 3.2 with vision. I'm hoping that maybe I was doing something wrong or perhaps there's some way to remove some of the sensorship.
