Today, we show in vivid color the appearance of cities across the country, including Seoul, Busan, Pyongyang, and Incheon,

and street life, including shops, during the Korean Empire 120 years ago. This photo was taken

by George Ross, an Australian photographer who visited Korea during the Russo-Japanese War in 1904.

This is a video created by converting black and white photos into color. It took more than 300 hours to colorize these photos, and

the entire video, worked on for 4 months from July to December of this year,

is finally shown in full version. I hope you enjoy it because you can see scenes from that time that were unseen anywhere else

Market days in Seoul were for buying and selling goods. It is said that it was crowded with country people looking to sell, and

many people bargained even until the afternoon when the market closed. During the Joseon Dynasty, most people were farmers.
