Fifth-grade memories, still vivid in my mind. School taught us lookism, beauty-obsessed, and unkind.

Crushing on my squirrel-like seatmate, thought she was pretty. But remorse crept in, ashamed and guilty.

Like a young monk at dawn, legs in a tent. Getting whacked at the temple, that's how it went.

I grew up like that, yeah, still vivid. The reason you were born (is to be loved).

You came to this world to be loved, still vivid. That ideology and vibe, what it's all about.

Reckless, irresponsible, no concept in sight. Words on repeat with my crew, day and night.

"Where the **** is your mama's tuition fee, kid?" Turned into middle school assholes, robbing kids in uniform.

Supermarket, stationers eyeing us like thieves. Toy guns replaced the cards we used to heist with ease. Goofing around, acting tough. Popping BB guns, snickering like a rascal.

Then one day, when Bear crossed the line. Shot at a stroller, baby inside. You bounced with a grin, thrill-seeking. Daddy's rage like adrenaline, heart beating.

Palms sweaty, tension rising, chest heaving. What's it mean to get strong? Still vivid,

Ah, still vivid, uh. MTV flashbacks, hip-hop on screen. Intuition screaming 'cool',

Two decades later. It's my full-time job, now I think about it. Now I'm thinking where that vibe was designed. Freedom maybe, in uniforms tight. Buzzcuts measured, everything forced 'right'.

Copped piercings from Dongdaemun, quick to hide. Before school, yanking 'em out in time.

(Hey brat, come f***ing here!) Dean's voice made me freeze. Tugging my weak 'burns, looking for beef. Teenage angst, always ready to brawl.

At the retreat, I let it all out, y'all. Face down in the office, taking licks. Uniform pants turned from gray to blood-stained tricks.

Looking back, it's cute, but back then, Death Note-inspired, I penned the dean's name.

Time flew by, hit twenty-five.
At a show with my bro Mad Clown, I met a photographer.

He said we shared the same middle school. Asked about the dean,
and got news that ain't so 'cute'.

"That old fella failed at stocks,
took his life, noose around his neck." Damn, it's still vivid.

Still vivid. I still remember; for me, it remains vivid.
Hip-hop painted freedom; they don't give a shit.
(But now I have my people whom I truly love)

But now I'm confused; am I doing the right thing? Bang bang, gang gang, trap trap, hell yeah.

Freedom 'til I die, that's my oath. But gang problems can shake nations, like the Netherlands and Sweden.

A country's foundation is shaken by gang violence. Now I see Seoul in a new light, so vivid. I despise the lies they fed us in school
about weed on TV, actors playing the fool.

Jumping off roofs—all propaganda, cool. My hate for this two-faced nation grew deep roots, but it built our safety net.

More immigrants now, cool with that.
But without care, are we alright? Love and harmony is the key; I still believe.

But who wants 'messages' in their beats nowadays, let's be real. Y'all front like you want the 'truth',

but what y'all REALLY want is your version of the 'truth'. Even when twilight fades to black,
hope, like dawn, always comes back.

Mouth covered, ears closed,
can't stop the song, oh. Crumbling again, hands reach high.
Buried in the dark, I still shine bright.

Vivid memories, light within. Every moment, battling life's haters.
Where this breath ends, only God knows.

Just follow the heat in my core.
Taste the bitter, hide what's sore. Wanna dance with you.

At the center of my life,
now towards you
