Now, DC's Metro is the second largest transit system in the United States, behind New York, but it is very different

than New York. I give New York, you know, a lot of credit for what they do. Um, it's a

very different system, however. New York has a few things going for it. First of all, it has a flat rate for the

rides. You do not get that in DC. Right? If you go from this station to this station, it's a different cost than if you go

from here to, say, here. The longer you ride the system, the more it charges you in DC, versus a flat-rate system you would
