I went to the hospital this summer and was diagnosed with diabetes. The blood test showed that the glycated hemoglobin level was over 7.5%, and he was prescribed diabetes medication.

How worried must you have been when you first heard the word diabetes, since you were still so young?

My heart ached too. How should I manage my blood sugar? How should I live from now on? I think there must have been many things I was afraid of.

But I tried to manage it on my own by walking for 2 hours every day and eating healthy, mostly Korean food. But even after doing that, he said his fasting blood sugar level was still high.

In addition, there were many times when my feet felt numb and it was difficult to walk.

So, he had been managing it on his own, but then he thought, 'Let's do it right,' and decided to do this with me.

I thought you were really great in many ways, exercising and eating at regular times, and not overeating, but after seeing your eating photos for a few days, I thought there was one thing that was a little disappointing.

What it was, was the amount of rice. He ate mixed grain rice for every meal, and I thought it was a little too much.

Even if it's mixed grain rice, it's still carbohydrates. As I was thinking about it, it seemed like there was a need to reduce the quantity.

So I suggested that you buy an electronic scale to know the exact amount of rice you should eat, and I advised you to eat only 100 grams of rice at each meal.

Actually, let's take a look at the feedback I gave you. "The most important thing in a diet is to gradually reduce the amount of carbohydrates while keeping your appetite from going crazy.

You are doing very well by eating the right amount of food, but it seems like the amount of carbohydrates is a bit more than the amount of protein.

Not much! Haha. So tomorrow, please practice eating just 1 spoonful less rice at each meal. I think that would be even better!

And it would be even better if you eat it with steamed cabbage or lettuce or other vegetables to fill you up. I told you that it would be good to pack at least one vegetable that is not too salty.

In other words, the first thing to do was to reduce carbohydrates and fill in the gaps with vegetables or protein.

And the second part is the exercise part. Our members did a great job with this exercise, but the exercise time was a little long.

So, I gave feedback on this part like this: It's getting colder, so you might be thinking of putting it off, but I'm glad you're exercising.

I want to give you a million likes. I sent you so many. However, if you walk for two hours at a time, it can be a mental burden before exercising, and you may feel tired after exercising, which can have the side effect of making you want to eat more.

Aerobic exercise should not exceed 50 minutes, and it would be good to walk lightly for 20-30 minutes after dinner.

Walking after a meal is very helpful in managing blood sugar levels, and walking after dinner is said to be the most effective. So, how about working out as hard as you are now, but not exceeding 50 minutes at a time, and taking a light 20-30 minute walk after dinner?

This is the checklist file of the member I am currently managing. In the first week, the fasting blood sugar level was 151 and 139.
