Hello ladies and gentlemen, it's Mike here at Game From Scratch and it's Friday. Specifically, it is Black Friday, that is the day every year where people get together at malls and compete in death sports to try and save money on big screen TVs. But the cool thing is if you

are in the world of game development, there are a ton of deals out there as well. And the nice thing is you don't have to get off your ass. So what we're going to do is take a look at what is available this year at Black Friday. Now

you're going to find if you head on over to GameFromScratch, you will find I have this article up and I've done a number of, uh, basically I found all the best Black Friday deals out there. If there are more though that you've located, do

let me know in the comments down below and I will add them to this list so you can see all the various different things that are available uh on Black Friday for game developers. By the way, a number of these are going to have affiliate links, so if you use them I do get a

small commission and thank you very much if you do. Now I'm not going to go through everything in this list and of course this list is going to be added to as I find more, but I'm going to show you I think what are some of the highlight

items available. Without further ado, let us jump in. So the first one we're obviously going to start with are the asset stores. We've got the uh Unity Asset Store doing a Black Friday deal and what you're going to find here is basically they've got a ton of assets

50% off, but on top of that, they're doing uh, so if you click into the Black Friday sale, like so, you're going to find that there are 70% off sales that, like, kind of expire over time. So you get 70% off, 

then it drops to 60% off, then it will become 50. So you're going to want to tune in each day to see if the asset you are most interested in is on sale as a flash deal. Otherwise, again, a ton of stuff in here 50% off. By the way, a lot

of these are called Black Friday sales, at the very least, they all go until Cyber Monday, and a lot of these go for about a week or two more. So, um, you don't necessarily, if you're watching this on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, you're

probably still good to go to get a lot of these deals. So, that is how Unity are doing their asset store. No actual work required on top of that. Now, Fab, Fab magically got the ability to do sales. This is something that when they moved to Fab, they couldn't actually do. Now, Fab

is replacing both Sketchfab and the Unreal Engine Marketplace, and you're going to find you've got just a ton of assets on sale. Uh, 70% off seems to be about the upper limit area that you're dealing with there. Uh, so a number of

deals over on Fab if you're interested in checking that out. Again, this is replacing the Unreal Engine Marketplace as well as the, um, Sketchfab store. So, there's no Sketchfab deal this time. Now, another neat one that we've got is from Aani Sounds. Now, I love Aani Sounds.

because they've been doing uh really cool Humble Bundles, well they've got their own bundle, this one isn't Humble but it's robust uh so it's the Black Friday Bundle 2024 and this one contains uh a variety of things you've got music packs

in here, sound effect packs as well as some engine plugins so we've got here for Unreal Engine, Ambient sound music uh music for GDevelop, Unity uh and so on, and then we got again a number of special effects packs and music packs, but the cool thing here is I don't think there's

any overlap with the previous Humble Bundle, so even if you've been buying all the Humble Bundles, this bundle should still be completely new stuff for you, which is actually quite cool. I'm actually kind of tempted to do a dedicated video on this one uh let me

know if you'd be interested in that. Obviously I don't have a ton of time to get that video out because this sale is starting Black Friday, so I'm recording this on Thursday night by the way. All right, so that is a cool one from Ovani

Sounds. Next up we have the Game Dev Marketplace uh they have this really annoying pop-up that I do not know how to dismiss, which is very uh very very irritating uh but they are doing a Black Friday sale uh there's the X there it is

God, the modern web sucks so badly. Um Black Friday sale is live, 60% off thousands of assets, so um yeah, Game Dev Marketplace, a number of different assets available there uh up to 60% off uh and then we have a single asset, but this is

the first time it's been on sale and I love this one. I mention it a lot on this channel. I'm going to continue mentioning it a lot on this channel so it's one you probably want to know about if you are using the Godot game engine and you know

that Unreal Engine do their uh monthly giveaways now, monthly giveaways and you want to use those assets in Godot, this is an exporter. It's a plugin for the Unreal Engine that makes exporting out to Godot super easy and it does an incredibly good job of it. Well, the reason why I'm

mentioning it specifically is for the first time ever it is on sale so you can get 20% off uh if you use this code RT99 T81 or T8I. No idea what that code means uh at checkout you get an additional 20%

off that price so uh that's the only time I've seen this on sale uh and this again is one of those things I mentioned quite a lot on the channel so if you wanted to pick it up for cheap now is a great opportunity. Next up we have a set

of bundles uh so this one is from uh Leres Studios uh but this is actually over on Gumroad. The bundles are uh this one is the Unreal Engine Mega Bundle, a ton of content. So these are a lot of them have actually been available um on

Humble Bundles in the past but if you haven't missed them or you see something that you haven't seen before this one could be a good pickup for you and you're going to notice the price here is 100 bucks but if you use the code BT60

you save an additional $60 off that so it makes it a $40 bundle which is uh an exceptional deal if you're interested again a lot of environments uh mostly environments uh some tools in there as well and then you've got you know props and models and so on and then some

characters in there and a couple of sound effects packs on top of that they also have one for Unreal Engine again same deal is $100 but use the code bt60 at checkout it'll take another 60% off of that price uh which is again a very

good deal now again a lot of these have been in Humble bundles so make sure you don't already own something that you might be interested in so that is a set of bundles there from Lera Studios for Unity and Unreal Engine uh and then we

have Cinty Cinty are doing a Black Friday sale uh for the next 5 days it would appear up to 70% off of their assets so if you've been looking to pick up some Cinty stuff specifically uh check it out see if it is on sale right

now again up to 70% off there uh and then we go into Humble Bundle now I'm actually only going to talk about one specific bundle right now but there are several ongoing they just launched this the Black Friday Rust bundle um and this

is uh got a couple of interesting things I've never seen before so there's a Zenva course in here for Rust and Bevy and then another one down here as well so creating a puzzle game with Rust and Bevy as well as creating your first game

Uh, in the Russ and Bevy Zenva courses tend to be pretty good. They also have some nice, solid written materials with them. This launched uh on Thursday, so launched today as I'm recording this video, uh so it is a Black Friday focused bundle specifically uh and it's about Rust.

training materials and there's not a lot of this kind of content out there. Um, had I known that this was launching, I would have probably done a dedicated video on it. A little on the iffy side because it's not necessarily straight-up game development, but if you wanted to learn

Rust in general, there's also a beginner course here as well. Things on data structures here. This one that's here for reasons I don't understand, but an interesting bundle there from Humble. By the way, on top of that, I've linked them all uh in the linked article down below.

There's a couple of other just ongoing bundles. The Game Dev TV Unity course bundle, Unreal Engine Sci-Fi, which also has about 30 Unity Assets in it as well. Shape Lab VR is available as well. The award-winning Crown assets for Unity uh

and so on. So if you want to go ahead, check out Humble has some nice stuff going on right now. Not sure if they have anything in the books category. I don't think they do. Uh, nope, that's it. So uh, Humble definitely has some nice game

development stuff going on right now. And another one that has a lot of bundles going on uh, except for apparently this one, uh is um Fanatical. And I haven't talked about Fanatical in a while. And this is not specifically again about Black Friday. They do have some deals.

going on specifically, but what you might be interested to see is they've actually launched, uh, teach your own game development in Unreal, Unity, as well as Blender, GDAU. Uh, this one I think, yeah, this one is Zenva, uh, and then they also

have another GDAU course, uh, hiding in plain sight right there, uh, the complete, uh, GDAU Developers Playbook e-learning bundle is here as well, uh, and then of course they have a number of book bundles. These are ongoing, uh, just something to be aware of the number of

programming books here, mostly packed stuff, uh, but again, a lot of stuff going on over in the Fanatical site, uh, and then we're moving on. We've got Steam now. I'm just going to talk about Steam generally and I'm going to use a Sprite

as an example, uh, but there are a number of things part of their Autumn Sale. They've got a lot of game development stuff here, so for example, you can get a Sprite 30% off. I picked a half a dozen things that are of interest in my humble

opinion, um, that are again linked in the article, uh, so if I go back to the very, very beginning here, uh, another one that is quite interesting that you might want to go ahead and check out is specifically Pixel Over, kind of a neat Universal application that's there as

well, there's a number of things that are for sale, uh, for game developers, game engines, etc., RPG Maker and so on. I'm not breaking them all out. I just want you a reminder, basically, if you go over check on Steam, uh, you will find a number

of applications available there as well, such as for example, Shape Lab, but don't buy this here because you can actually get it on Humble right now instead. Uh, and then in terms of software again, I'm going to show you about a third of what I've got available right now, kind of

like the highlights. Uh, one of that we have here is uh, uh, Pilgway. They make 3D Coat. Uh, 3D Coat, you can get it for 100 off. They also make 3D Coat Textura 2024, and you can get that for 22 EUR off the

price tag. Uh, on top of that, we have Affinity. Uh, Affinity is one of my favorite applications out there, so you've got Designer, Photo, and Publisher, and they've got all of their products for 50% off, which is sweet. So if you're

looking for a Photoshop alternative, in my humble opinion, Affinity is the best, most affordable non-free version out there. Uh, and all their stuff is 50% off now. Another big one we've got is Casador. Now, if you're a regular of this channel,

you know that I'm a big fan of Casador. This is an AI-assisted animation tool, and they actually are having 45% off all their plans for Black Friday for the next 5 days now. The cool thing here is at the exact same time, they actually

just released a brand new version of Casador, uh, today, I think it was, that actually added, uh, ragdoll physics and a couple of other things as well. So if you've been looking at getting Casador, you can get it 45% off with this

particular deal uh and then we've got D5 Jenga effects uh they have 30% off any of their Indie annual licenses they make a couple of programs the big one being Ember genen which is like a flame maker but they've also got liquid gen uh I

haven't covered that one yet that's for real-time liquid simulations and then also geog geogen which is for creating terrains all the stuff uh for specifically the Indie licensing is 30% off use the coupon code Black Friday there uh moving on we have LightWave now LightWave is a

um one of the fundamental 3D applications has sort of disappeared for a long time and it's being revived right now uh and the cool thing here is they are having a Black Friday sale now I've been thinking about covering LightWave on the channel I don't know uh if

there's much interest in this again uh this is one that's been around for a very long time it sort of felt like it was dead and now it's back I believe this represents a 65% savings by the way so you could pick up a full license for

€295 now this was a fundamental program in the world of CG early on it was used to make like Babylon 5 and a bunch of other like pioneering early computer Graphics apps the company kind of went through some troubles though so now it's Under New Management and the

tools are coming back next up we have marma set tool bag uh you can get all to bag licenses for 20% off which again is nice and then we've got uh Maxon uh Maxon has a number of different applications on sale right now for Black

Friday, uh, specifically they've got uh Maxon One, Cinema 4D, and then ZBrush, uh, and I believe it's 30% off that they're offering there. I don't know if I go to the buy, if we'll see the black Friday pricing there. Uh, no, okay, it's 25% off by the way. So Maxon has, oh, here we go, so 25% off of uh Maxon One, ZBrush, Redshift, also I believe Cinema 4D on its own, where Maxon One is like a bundle that

includes Cinema 4D, uh, and then we've got Silo and Milo, also. Silo just released a new version of both Silo and Milo. So this is a company called Never Center. Um, this is Windows and Mac, it is a low poly 3D modeling, that's what Silo is, and then

Milo is an Unreal Engine based renderer. You get them together here, uh, so you get 40% off if you use the code 'gather' at checkout. This was one of the coolest modeling tools out there, it was like Modo, but a whole lot cheaper, uh, but then

they just sort of stopped focusing on its development for a number of years, and then about two or three years ago they started up again. Uh, they just released a new version of Silo again this week, um, with new UV tools and other things as well. Um, so if you're

interested in picking those up, uh, you use the code 'gather' at checkout for 40% off the pair of them. Uh, by the way, you can also get a trial if you want to go ahead and check that one out first. Another one that is new in the world of

3D modeling, this is the first sale I think, but don't quote me on that. It's for Plasticity, and Plasticity is doing a Black Friday sale right now for it. Uh, it is 20% off of Indie and Studio licenses, so you can see instead of 149, 

it's 120, and instead of 299, it's 240 now. This is a solid surface modeling tool. Uh, it's a very cool thing, basically bringing the power of Nurbs back. I did a video on it, I didn't do it real justice with my video. I've been meaning to 

revisit Plasticity, so uh, there is a download available if you want to go ahead and check it out first for 30 days free, uh, but then you will miss the sale, so don't take that long to decide, uh, cuz this will probably be over on Cyber 

Monday. I'm not 100% certain, but you can get 20% off on Plasticity. Um, and then another one we have is Reallusion. Reallusion has up to 45% off pretty much everything, software as well as content, uh, so that's uh, a pretty broad 

swath of stuff here again, 45% off of that, um, and you can see all their stuff, so like ACU Rig, uh, their um, iClone, and so on. Uh, also their um, their content is available there as well. Another one is Reallusion UV. You can get 30% off of this UV 

tool with the code Reallusion UV, that lasts until December the 8th. I also did a video of Reallusion UV pretty recently if you want to learn more about that. Uh, it is a UV mapping tool, as the name may suggest, uh, and then we've got Toon Boom. Now Toon 

boom uh has 30% off of any Harmony and Storyboard Pro annual subscriptions um and yeah that's that's the list again I'm only kind of scratching the surface there's a whole bunch more stuff here like 3D Totals CG Trader Flip Normals

Turbo Squid HDR Maps kit bash 3D and so on are all having sales there's a bunch more bundles both on Humble and on Fanatical more stuff on Steam I I always scratch the surface there's probably a 100 things on Steam right now but it

tends to be the same sales over and over again and you see you got a number of other packages as well so actually Adobe if you want to sign up for their Creative Cloud you can get that one currently for 50% off uh Autodesk always

does this stupid coming soon thing and you can't actually see what it is until the day is live so I don't know what Autodesk's deal is going to be but it normally sucks you can save on Corel on Daz and so on so there are a number of

programs I didn't specifically talk about today that are also having sales and do keep in mind as you guys give feedback and I learn about more I will be adding them to this document and once again if you do use my link you'll help support Game From Scratch and I really
